I love the food at liberty Pizza! I tell mama exactly what I want and how I want it, and she whips up my food, made with love. Me and my son eat there sometimes weekly. A hidden gem in Norwich! Liberty Pizza is definitely my go to spot when I'm in need of some good old comfort food. The owner is a kind and beautiful woman whom lost her husband some time ago, yet still manages to smoothly run her family own business with the best customer service I've ever experienced. To start off, the menu they have for take out is completely incorrect. Neither anywhere on it does it say there's a 10 dollar minimum, so if you're ordering here, bring cash instead. I've been here 3 times, 2 of those times the pizza was burnt to the point I couldn't eat a third of the pizza. The last time I went there, I had their takeout menu and ordered an 8 inch meatball sub, 6.75 on their menu online and takeout menu, they charged me 9.30, which had to be rounded up to 10 in order to actually buy it with my card. A good choice if you have literally no where else to go, but all in all, will not be giving them any business anymore. Their pizza is all I've tried so far and it has been consistently exellent every time we order from them, and the prices are very reasonable, If you plan on using your credit card be aware that they charge a dollar extra for a service charge so I highly suggest using cash. As for customer service, there is a small lauguage berrior between some of the employees so they sometimes come off not as plesent, but make up for it by making sure our pizza looks good before we leave the store.defintley worth trying out!! read more

The pizza is excellent, it's as close to New York style as your gonna get outside of NYC. The calzones are huge and the wings have always been on point. Every time I'm in Norwich I have to stop by and get a large cheese pizza. I recommend you check it out and support this small family owned restaurant. read more

OMG! Awesome pizza! I ordered a green pepper, black olive, and onion pizza. Kind and courteous ordering service, and the delivery service on time. The pizza awesome, the crust perfection! The staff does a great job of remembering regular customers. I fell in love with the wings here, then discovered the pizza is great too. I used to frequent Domino's, but now there's no turning back. Pay a couple of extra dollars and enjoy quality ingredients, with consistent flavor. Not sure what happened with Eric, but I've never had an issue here. read more

I ordered pizza the other night and had it delivered. The man who delivered it was extreamly unpleasant, rude and smelled like marijuana. I have talked to friends of mine who have had the same experiance. I will never order from here again and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone! read more

Worst pizza place ever! Ordered a delivery & they called 40 min later to say they decide it was to far to deliver. They dropped a flyer off at our door! Worst part is the manager made the delivery girl call to say they weren't going to deliver! Other people have since told me their food is horrible....don't support this business! read more

Try the Grilled Chicken Salad. It is large, and the lettuce and vegetables are fresh and crisp. I like the seasoning on the chicken. It gives it enough flavor that you don't need dressing. Horrible business practices. First time I ordered, the got my address wrong by one number, and went all the way back to the restaurant and then tried to redeliver cold food which I had them make new food. Second time I tried them, food was COLD. This time , I spaced and said a number wrong on my address, and instead of CALLING ME like a normal restaurant or delivery would, they went back to the restaurant with my food, and said Id have to pick it up if I still wanted it and we are no longer permitted deliveries??? Their loss, dont know why I ordered anyways, the food isnt great at all. I definitely dont recommend this place to anyone . Totally unimpressed with the customer service here! I tried them out when they first opened and it was horrible pizza!! I decided to try again since I did not feel like picking up food. While they delivered quickly and the pizza looked decent, my house full of kids had no plates or napkins that I requested. The girl was Soo quick to hang up with me she didn't even write it on the slip. Then when I call about it she blamed the delivery boy. He said it wasn't written so he didn't know. The girl then said to me well we are too busy to send them out to you. My response...YOU NOW LOST A CUSTOMER AND I WILL SPREAD THE WORD! we all know word of mouth is more powerful than advertising and I will never recommend this place...that's twice they failed us!!! I know kids aren't picky and I refuse to try their pizza...waste of time and money!!! Poor customer service and the girl didn't even care which makes it all the worse!!!
