One of the best gluten free pizzas I've ever had. Couldn't tell it was gluten free which is always a good sign. My husband has celiacs and can from eat here no issue. They make their own dough in house and you can choose if you want a small or a large!! They've got Hosmers soda and coke products if that's your jam. I ate in today, parked behind the joint and walked up and around. There are a few parking spots right out front and at least 10 people came in to pick up their pizzas. Wow. Amazingly good. Abundant sauce and a fresh gooey cheese. Cooked to near perfection, easily one of the top 10 pies I've had, and was well worth the trip from RI. I greatly enjoyed Engine 6 pizza. A couple weeks back I ordered a meatball and sausage grinder from Engine 6 pizza. When I received the grinder it was in such a mess the paper was embedded in to the cheese. I called and they immediately made another grinder which was great. The second grinder was completely burned and I ordered it non toasted. The delivery person, Whose name I'll leave out of this review, saw the grinders and stated he would bring another back to me. About an hour later I called to check on the status of my grinder. I was informed by a young woman that the owner stated I could not have another grinder nor could I have my money back. Then, the delivery person came on to the phone and said I could have my money back. I tipped well, I paid $30 cash for the grinder including tip and did not get a grinder and never received my money back. Unfortunately, I will not be using this company any more. Many of us order from work, I tell them about my experience and they are surprised, but so am I. It's sad that business is done this way. I relied on Engine 6 due to not being able to leave work to get food at least once per week. And the food tasted good. Maybe they got a new cook? Something went wrong. Now I order Chinese. read more

Where do I start? This place is absolutely wonderful. It's tough to find dining that offers truly gluten-free. These folks get it. My friend with celiacs was able to eat here safely. She was in fat girl heaven. She saved half for breakfast. My other friend and I shared a chicken Caesar salad and a white pizza (with ricotta). She was so kind to split the salad for us (the large is a huge portion). The white pizza was heavenly and salad was very fresh and tasty. By far our favorite pizza place in CT! Their buffalo chicken with blue cheese base is amazing! We've tried quite a few of the others as well(chicken bacon ranch, taco, bacon cheeseburger and the plain cheese) and they were great, the buffalo is just our favorite. We at a kid's birthday party in our family this weekend. Very impressed with everything engine 6 delivered. We did a few sheet pizzas and some grinders. All The usual suspects. They went out of their way to deliver a little beyond their normal area since we ordered at a slower time of day for them. The grinders were filled with meats cheeses and toppings. The pizzas were delicious and the kids devoured. All of the out-of-town adults wanted to know where it was from. I have to say, I don't usually like sheet Pizza but this was just the right combination of crispy and soft. And they didn't use the cheap cheese so it wasn't too greasy. Don't give us what we order then when we contact them about it they argue that plain buffalo wings come with no buffalo sauce?! What is the point of labeling something buffalo wings and defaulting the setting to plain? Food has been okay but we stopped ordering from here recently due to recurring price differences. When we order our total always comes out to more than we expected. We have asked multiple times if their menu is up to date and always told yes. Nothing to due with a delivery fee either because we have always picked up.
