Kind of and underwhelming experience. We stopped here to grab a drink and snack before hopping on the ferry to go to a concert in Camden. The staff was a bit rude to us and seemed annoyed that we were even there, there were a lot of people working but only a few tables of people so it was not busy (and it was a Thursday late afternoon so they had been open a while and didn't close until later either). The drink was ok and the fries I go weren't. We had time to stay for another round but the vibe wasn't good so we decided to get on an earlier ferry. I wouldn't recommend or go back.

So I got the crab cake sandwich, really good. The popcorn shrimp though, HORRIBLE. Super thick breading, came out cold, the sauce provided with them no good kinda like a spicy bbq.

Liberty point was a cool vibe. The view is lovely, the music was good, and the breeze was amazing although it was hotttt outside. The main downside to my experience was the swarm of gnats at our table. They came and went while we were there, but it was a bit of hassle. Special s/o to our server, Lana, for going the extra mile and spraying bug spray for us. The restaurant had a 4th of july themed frozen drink, which was pretty tasty, and we got the shrimp basket and bbq wings (they were kind of drowned in sauce, so I would ask for it on the side in the future, but the flavor was good)! I would come back again to try the mussels, which looked really good.

Going back to through my reviews, and realizing that I never really had a chance to give my two cents. I actually enjoyed this little spot. View was amazing, service was quick and the server was knowledgeable. Maybe we should have tried a few more things from the menu, Shrimp Taco and Nachos were presented well but really lacked flavor. Again for a summer quick lunch just okay...

I'm sorry, but I would only recommend this place for drinks and to enjoy the breathtaking views. I would not recommend coming here for food at all! I stopped by with my coworkers this week for dinner. The hostess was absolutely rude and had a terrible attitude problem. Our waitress on the other hand was very friendly and helpful! We ordered a few shared items and entrees. We ordered crispy chicken wings, hummus, popcorn shrimp, burrata, Caesar salad, fish and chips, lobster Mac and cheese and a cheeseburger. I was with a big group and unfortunately no one enjoyed any of the food. Everything tasted frozen and not fresh whatsoever. We ordered 3 Mac and cheese dishes, and all 3 came out cold. We told the waitress who took it back and when she brought it back out all 3 dishes were still cold. My manager ordered the fish and chips and you can tell from the picture that it looked whack. The cheeseburger was green and we asked the waitress why it was green since it wasn't mentioned on the menu. She went to ask the chef who said it was the marinade. We asked what kind of marinade so she had to go back and ask again. Apparently herbs and avocado? But it wasn't stated on the menu. My salad was huge but came with 3 cold pieces of shrimp. The manager came to our table and removed all the food items from the bill, which was very nice. He himself was a very nice and professional person. Unfortunately, the food here was awful we all left and went to another restaurant for dinner! Again, I would never come back here for food. However, I'd come back to grab a drink and enjoy the view. Security will card everyone so make sure you have your ID no matter your age!

After seeing lots of local ads on tik tok, thought Id try this place out. It isn't located on the water, but next to it and near a ferry. The aesthetic is nice as it has a lot of cute shaded areas and provides a boardwalk feel too. The food we got was decent. Buffalo cauliflower was good, but couldve been cooked better. Burger was kind of small. Fries were good and wings too! Drinks were also decent. Not too big, but found the straw tough with the frozen drinks since it began to disintegrate too soon. The stage area was really cool and there is huge potential for an awesome music event. Ample seating and reservations get you higher level seating which is cool. Overall and okay eatery, decent place to drink, and awesome place to get cute pictures, listen to music, and hang out.

Stopped here for a drink on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly and opted for the bar since we were not planning on eating. We received friendly service from the bartenders. The view was beautiful and really adds to the ambiance. I highly recommend the summer sangria, it's delicious and refreshing. We would definitely visit again next time we're in town.

"Where's the beef?" Liberty Point was so hyped up and it was a let down. The portions were insulting. McDonald's and Wendy's would run circles at this place for the price they were asking. Also, the server asked if I was sure with my drink order. I found out that they thought my drink taste like ice. Why would an establishment serve a plain tasting drink. This place is was disappointing. The portions were small, the food lack flavor, but it can be a chill spot to grab regular drinks at.

Great potential. Average Delivery. The new Liberty Point continues the extension of renovations on the Philadelphia side of the river. It has some excellent views and in good weather has an amazing atmosphere. Beyond that, the bar & restaurant offer nothing crazy to write home about. I think it is a great place to grab a drink on your way to dinner or earlier in the evening. However, from what I ate and saw, I'd say you should opt elsewhere for dinner and dining. Staff was on point. Prices aligned with the area. Again, an average overall experience.

Fried shrimp basket. Does that shrimp look good to you?

Liberty point was my most anticipated new restaurant opening in Old City. It has a prime Penn's Landing location outside the seaport museum. I was excited to try it for lunch. Upon arrival I was seated outside but on the upstairs level, where a pivotal scene in the movie Blow Out was filmed. That area had been blocked off from the public for many years, so as a huge film buff and fan of that movie it was good to be seated there. The menu is small, with basic easy to make items. Despite the large size of the restaurant they clearly want to be able to get people in and out quickly. I ordered a rum & coke and the fried shrimp basket. The drink was the kind of low alcohol watered down drink you get at a casino. And it had a lemon slice instead of a lime slice. The fried shrimp was the worst I've ever tasted. Just look at my picture and you can see it's bad just based on looks. The fries were good at least. My friend wasn't too happy with her crab cake sandwich either. Liberty point is hoping to succeed based on the location and awesome river view. Service was also good. The waitress was attentive and friendly. I should have asked her for a fresh batch of shrimp. Maybe my bad batch was an outlier, but no chef who takes pride in his/her work would even send it out looking so bad. I was expecting to be a regular here since I'm at Penn's Landing often. Instead I'll probably go one more time just to take pictures of the view and then be done with the place.

Went to Liberty Point solo dolo during the week and with a group of people on the weekend. Both experiences, I truly enjoyed myself! I really like it here! The design of Liberty Point is unique. The view of the water and seeing the Ben Franklin Bridge is awesome. There are multiple sections for reservations on Resy; a location just for drinks; a bleacher style section to hangout & sit; and a section for drinks and food (without reservations but might be packed). I tried a few drinks and I would have to say the pineapple whiskey sour tastes good and will sneak up on you! I also had their popcorn shrimp with fries and their Philly fried shrimp basket with fries (old bay seasoning on top of fries). I was impressed by the food and asked for a side of jerk aioli, which was good. The staff here are friendly. It was our waitstaff, Brittney's, first day and she handled our big group very well in 90+ degree weather! There seems to be parking for $20 as well as parking at the Hilton for $18. I took Uber. Liberty Point is one of those places in Philly I don't mind visiting multiple times!

    Spicy Tuna Tostadas

Chris, the bartender greeted at the outside bar and was very helpful in helping me pick a local beer. I ordered the spicy tuna tostadas; they were extremely tasty!! I enjoyed sitting at the bar and interacting with some other tourist; everyone seem to be having a good time. Liberty Point has three levels, five bars, with a great view of the Delaware river. Local bands perform on the rooftop area where there's plenty of areas to sit stand and dance.

This is a hard review to write and one I never imagined I would need to write but unfortunately here we are.... Some friends, my husband and I stopped by for a drink and some snacks we ordered just like any restaurant and then the table next to us asked if we had to put a card down before ordering. We let the ladies know we did not and they shared they did have to put their card down first. We were a table full of white individuals and they were all black. The ladies very nicely asked if they could speak with the manager and asked if their waitress (who was different than ours) was new because it was possible it was a simple mistake. The manager handled the situation completely inappropriately and was accusing them of being wrong/lying this led to our table stepping in and corroborating their story. The manager then left and sent over a black women and she said she was there to deal with "problem guests".... at this point I was sick to my stomach and couldn't believe what I was hearing. Also mind you no one was being a problem, I cannot stress this enough they were simply stating facts. In the past I have seen situations that were questionable but I wasn't sure of the whole situation so I did not get involved (maybe I should have done better) this time I know the whole story and it is possible our waiter forgot to ask for our card and that was policy but a simple "I'm sorry" was not uttered until the third person came to talk to them. We left before the situation was totally resolved but it appeared the third guy was being finally being compassionate to the situation. Our server was great and the views were terrific but this was all lost on the injustice that was happening behind us. I do not think I personally will be back and I hope this never happens again but I know I will never forget it.

Huge bar, giant wall of liquor bottles, dim lighting, and a cool old-school vibe. I told the bartender that ordering a beer in a place like this felt like I was insulting him. Hostess was welcoming and they were kind when we were about 5min beyond their 15min lateness window (we did call ahead about it though). Our table was comfortable and attractive, but the lighting was such that somehow we were under a bright light while the rest of the room was quite dark so it felt a little on display. I also got a real "city vibe" from the other patrons, like just cold and pseudo-hostile as I've often felt from city dwellers as a suburbanite. No smiles or even acknowledgment from others as you walk to/from the bathroom or brush past someone getting to your seat. Just did not feel like any holiday was happening in there. Other places downtown don't seem to have this vibe despite their obvious urban demographic. It could be the cold weather, political climate, or just that crowd at that time, but that was the overwhelming ambiance I felt. Had the "All In The Family" bourbon flight, including Basil Hayden, Knob Creek, and Maker's Cask. Loved the Maker's Cask, was not a fan of the others. Also had a Michter's US*1 which was a lucky blind pick for me, very good! I will say our server was quite sweet and did a very good job. She smiled, made eye contact, and was knowledgeable about the food. She wasn't fully versed in the extensive whiskey menu but they really need some kind of manual or bourbon "Bible" to explain all the various batches and makers, so I don't discredit her for that, though Twisted Tail ought to be on top of that with a didactics for their bountiful booze. I acknowledge and second many photos and reviews saying seasoning was needed, particularly on meats. My husband needed salt to try to save his "prime rib" by which he was so disappointed and consequently grumpy the rest of the meal. My son's ham was good but not the highest quality. My short rib was okay but also needed salt. Sides were varied and plentiful, and all tasted decent. I'd have to say they redeemed the meal for me. The variety and selection were spot on for Thanksgiving, all the tastes and flavors you would want or expect of the holiday! Dessert was pies that tasted at least a week old. They were dry, flavorless (except sugar), and difficult to cut. After 2 bites I just stopped eating. Flavors were the predictable pumpkin, apple or pecan. It really doesn't matter which I ate because all we tried were equally terrible. They charged an obligatory 20% service fee. We added another 10% to it.
