When you're in need of a tow service any old company might be as good as the next. True. Or at least I'd have accepted that line before yesterday. After completing a small security system install yesterday I was racing off to my next item to check off the list when I hear an all too familiar whhoonph whoomph sound. Flat tire. Called this place and in not terribly long a wait a call rings my phone and it's the dude, and he's a quarter mile away. Friendly and polite. I tell him my intended plan and 20 minutes later off we go. I attempt upon offloading my Odyssey to use a fixaflat canned goop repair, with only optimistic expectations. That stuff works fun for nails or screw punctures, but along a sidewall you can get lucky. So in goes the goop And Jesse, the driver, tips mile tires air off and I raced off to give the wheel a spin to hopefully work the magic, and after a mile west and a return mile back, I return to where I left him and say it seems ok. Off I go, but opt to take another route, one where I won't catch extended traffic lights etc. but after only about two miles the TPMS (tire pressure monitor system) lights up I realize I'm on borrowed time. Quick call to Liberty and tell (Tony) that I am the one who Jesse just went to tow etc. ask him if he can possibly call and have the truck sent to XYZ a mile or so west. NP. 8 minutes later the truck arrives and thankfully he's a nice guy not just looking to double his payday. (Thankfully I tipped him a 20, 10 minutes earlier! I should've, at this minute simply said tow me to Broadway Tire, but I still had hopes to salvage my tire (all four are like new, maybe only 5k use on them.) so top it off again and head to the freeway with knowledge that I'm still 2 hours ahead of rush hour. I make it 15 miles to home before the light illuminates again. Tire wasn't salvageable but the tow service was very reasonable when I considered my options. Had I thought to just drop off as I stated at the tire place at least I'd be rolling tonight. But I still got tff he e tire repair done, but had to take the tire by itself and wasn't able to retrieve it before they closed for the weekend today. That's probably the next place I'll be writing about come Monday. read more

I can't say enough about the excellent service from Chris, Paul and Rod at Liberty Towing. My car unfortunately slid backwards off my driveway during a recent ice/snow storm and was wedged precariously between the rock wall of my driveway and the electrical box. With great care and expertise, they managed to pull my car out completely unscathed. I was expecting some kind of damage to my car, but to my complete and utter relief, they pulled it out damage-free!! Liberty Towing knows what they are doing!! We are traveling cross country from CA and was towing our travel trailer with our truck. Our truck lost power outside of Madison, WI so both the truck and trailer needed to be towed. My 2017 Subaru Forester was inoperable. I called Liberty Towing and got excellent Customer Service over the phone. I was told it may be 2 hours as they had other appointment but would call me 20 minutes ahead as a courtesy. I got a call in about an hour and a half from Jose the Tow Truck driver. Jose said he would be arriving at my location in 15 minutes. Jose arrived on time just as he quoted. He was professional and friendly. I thought I would be super stressed out about my vehicle being towed - but Jose really knows what he's doing and just but me at ease. I paid my bill which was very very reasonable. Terrible. We called them because we had a stuck/stripped lug nut as we were changing a flat. We only had limited tools. We called Liberty Towing, explained the situation, then they sent someone. While trying to do so, the guy DEMOLISHED the lug nut beyond repair because he used too much force and the wrong tools. He gave us a few names of tools we could go purchase ourselves, but we were on our own to get it off. We tried to negotiate price since we were worse off than we started...they were charging us $68+. I called the shop and Zach was so incredibly rude. After many phone calls, my husband finally accepted a $20 refund. But we still had to pay close to $50 for them to break the lug nut. Luckily my handy mechanic made a house call to help! Shout out to Wright's Auto!! read more

I called for a quote before hand and they were prompt, courteous and professional on the phone (unlike some of the other places I called.) Their price was the cheapest and I ended up requesting the tow online for the next day, which was delightfully easy. The driver who came out called to give me an ETA and arrived right on time. And when he arrived he was incredibly kind, polite and helpful! The best part was that he was able to get my car going so I didn't need the tow at all! Shout-out to Quentin for being awesome! If I could rate Liberty Towing Service, LLC above a 5, I would. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I had a brand new vehicle, totally undriveable, I was injuried, but I needed the vehicle to get to my go to body shop in Madison. I called Liberty and Tom answered. Tom was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I felt like my vehicle was in good hands with Liberty not only because of the great referral I had to Liberty but also because of the interaction over the phone. The tow yard Liberty needed to get the vehicle from was not nearly as friendly as Liberty was and with everything going on Tom helped put me at ease about where my vehicle was, and how soon it was going to be where I needed it to be. Speaking of which, Tom had a truck out to the location in Milwaukee within 15 minutes of my call. Just when I didn't think I could ask for anything else to go more right Tom surprised me with what a good price the tow was. Thank you Liberty Towing Service, LLC. I have had Liberty in my phone contacts for several years, starting because they had the fleet towing contract at a previous employer. I have had cause to use them several times for personal / family situations and they have always been prompt ( well within the time window they give you ), courteous, and careful loading and unloading the vehicles. You might be able to find cheaper service, but you won't find better. read more

On our way home to Chicago from the Dells, our Honda Odyssey broke down on the highway. This was the first service that showed up on Yelp, so I decided to call. Our tow truck driver is Tim, and he arrived exactly 20 minutes from the time they said he was from dispatch. The only problem was I did not tell dispatch I had 3 kids in the back (Please tell dispatch when you call how many people are in the car). Tim is able to safely tow us to the nearest exit location. His tow truck co-workers picked up the rest of my family and meet me at the Honda Dealer in Madison. I must say the service from Liberty Towing Service is highly commendable. Tim and his tow truck coworkers were very professional and treated with kindness during our time of need. I am really happy I called them, and there is a good reason why they come up first on Yelp. Liberty tow is great at a few things... being on time for picking up, answering the phone but not towing. I had a tow and my front bumper got completely destroyed. The tow driver made it seem like it is just part of the process but after talking to another tow company owner having him look at the photos and explaining the situation he said I could have been pulled out backwards insead of letting my bumper be ripped in half by the cable. I heard the big crunch of my bumper while being pulled out. After letting them examine the car they said that they would not cover the 900 dollars worth of damaged caused. read more

They were extremely helpful and gave me a fair price. When they took my car to the nearest repair shop. The driver even waited to make sure I had a plan to get home safely. Very prompt in arriving, even after Madison had just gotten dumped on with over a foot of snow (he arrived about 30 minutes from when I called). Sergio worked quickly and efficiently, going through a series of troubleshooting steps to see if he could get it running and just charge me for a jump start rather than a tow (it would have saved me money if I could have just driven it to the shop, but sadly, it wasn't an option). After it still wouldn't start, Sergio got it up on the Liberty flatbed truck, and dropped it off at my preferred, go-to, auto repair shop on the west side (from downtown) in just a little over an hour from my the time of my original phone call request for a tow. Ended up being my starter that had gone out and needed to be completely replaced... Sergio is highly recommended for his promptness, professionalism, knowledge of the business / vehicles and customer service. read more
