Libretto's is a great pizza place and definitely worth a visit. The service was fast and friendly. It is very comfortable with a good amount of seating They had a variety of pizzas sitting to order. I had a couple of slice of sausage. They were excellent. It has a thin, crunchy crust cooked to perfection. I also loved the sausage. Others in the party also really like their pizzas. I came in with my mom and sister on Christmas Eve while we were waiting for our reservation at another restaurant. We were really hungry, so we decided to stop in for a quick slice, and we were pleasantly surprised! It's a cozy spot with quite a few seating options. The staff is nice and quick to bring your food out. They had so many different pizza options! They also had pastas, salads, and soup. On our first day there, we each grabbed a slice of pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. The crust was thin and had the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. We ended up going back for lunch the next day. That day, we tried the Margherita, white sauce, chicken pizza, and a soup. All of which were delicious. I'm not a native New Yorker, but in my opinion, this was some great NY style pizza! read more

My boyfriend and I are locals who have been loyal to this spot for nearly two years. We bring our friends here and loved telling people about this spot. Unfortunately last night was my last time bringing my business here. My friends and I came for pizza after a night out. My two friends ordered garlic knots and two slices. I separately ordered one slice. The worker HANDED us our orders and we realized they accidentally gave us an order of garlic knots with my slice that I had not ordered. Out of courtesy I let them know that I had not ordered these. I expected them to just say it's on the house as my order is already IN MY HANDS. The worker REACHES OVER with a spatula and literally took out the garlic knots from the pizza box in my hands. He then asks me if I want to keep the marinara sauce that came with the knots. I absolutely said no. I cannot believe he had the idea to reach over and take food off of a customer's plate. If he wanted the garlic knots back that badly, request my pizza box back and go do that behind the counter. That is such cheap and dirty behavior and I am so shocked and disappointed that this behavior came from this establishment. We truly loved libretto's so much. Most of the workers here are very kind and we've come to even say hello to some of them. This review is not written out of anger, but sheer disappointment. So sad that I can no longer give business to this establishment as we truly were so loyal to this spot. read more

Absolutely disgusting. They did not even bother packing the food items for delivery. Item arrived in an open container, with no lid, with spaghetti noodles and meatballs thrown into a plastic bag like someone had vomitted it up. When I first called the store, they hung up on me. When I called back the second time, a person said: "Maybe someone ate your food on the way and threw it back in the bag" with no admittance of the fact that they did not even PACK it with a LID as anyone would, when packaging FOOD items. Disgusting and heinous, in both food and attitude. There are several poor reviews of this place. Take note and beware. It is best to not waste your time here. read more

I came here after work with my two year old and a dried asked for two cups of water after ordering a slice and a drink This worker rudely replied " there's water in the fridge" and proceeds to help the next customer while I was at the register to pay. My friend agree to buy a bottle of water and I politely asked for cup of water and he said " you are not the only customers in here" while I was at the front of the register. After I paid for my meal, I asked for a receipt and this man replied "I will cancel your transaction". I politely asked said " I did not ask you to cancel my order, I asked for a receipt. The. I politely asked him his name and he said "I don't want to give your I my name . I have never been so disrespected as a customer in any establishment in my life. I have lived in Murray Hill for years and never had experiences such treatment. At no point was I rude to this man. A after we were served our food, I asked this man a third time for a cup of water and he finally gave it to my two year old. read more

Pizza is OK late night pizza at best. Tonight I go there looks like barely any left and they are closing. I got one slice of pepperoni and I hand him a $5 bill. He looks at me I said what? He says you owe me 17 cents. I said $5 for a slice of pizza? Are you kidding me? I hand him a $1 bill and said keep the change you cheap skate. Seriously going to make a fuss over 17 cents. Absolutely overpriced and they aren't even Italian. Seems like other complaints on here too about reaching over already handed out boxes for garlic knots. What a DISGRACE! read more

We ordered delivery from here through DoorDash on a Sunday evening. Our food arrived quickly and was fresh and warm. I ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka and my hubby ordered the chicken parmigiana. Both portions were huge and were accompanied by bread. We also ordered garlic knots. The garlic knots were seasoned well but a tad chewy for my taste. I loved the vodka sauce! We each ordered a Cannoli which were delicious! The cream had an almond taste and was so good! We will definitely order from here again or dine in if available. read more

HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD!!! I ordered delivery from Libretto's via Uber Eats. Part of the order was a slice of tiramisu. After taking a bite, I noticed there was a large, sharp piece of black plastic in my gums. It was cooked right into the cake and blended with the dark chocolate, so I didn't notice until it was too late. I reported the issue to Uber Eats but they refused to deal with the matter. A photograph of a piece of plastic outside of the cake apparently isn't enough evidence that it was inside the cake before I bit into it. It took a few hours to hear back from Uber, and by then the restaurant was closed. I called the next morning and the employee was rude and dismissive. He was angry that I first tried to deal with the issue through Uber instead of calling the restaurant directly. There's nothing they can do, ... I need to call back in a few days when the manager is there. All for a piece of cake under $10. I highly recommend ordering from another one of the thousands of other pizza places nearby. This one has poor quality and horrible service. read more

This small pizza joint in the Murray Hill neighborhood was close to our hotel part of what drew us here were the positive reviews from Yelp. I have to say this is the worst chicken parm I have ever had from Libretto's, I'm a doorman around the corner and I'm not sure if it was a new cook or what but chicken parm had noooo sauce and tiny piece of mozzarella. If you're in the area looking for a quick slice, Libretto's is exactly the spot. Not only does it have a crunchy crust, but the taste is spectacular and even a bit unique. Super sizable and delicious, and it all comes out quite fast. A bit more expensive than the dollar slices you can get in NYC, but I'd for sure recommend. Great soundtrack too, and great seating available. read more

Came for lunch during work. Had a craving for traditional Sicilian pie. Took about 10 minutes to make, and came out piping hot. The problem is, this was very cheese heavy more so than saucy. Stopped in for a quick snack. The pepperoni slice was your standard NY slice. The garlic knots were okay, but were probably sitting out too long and the quick trip in the oven couldn't save them. I drowned them in the marinara sauce and they were ok. I will try these guys again during the day to nab something fresher. read more

This is my first time at librettos pizza. The place is adorable! exposed brick walls Burnt orange coverings on the booths and Italian paintings and pictures on the walls. it's incredibly clean the staff are nice and the food came out quickly. the prices are very reasonable as well. they have specials as well.. get two slices of pizza and get a free drink. I ordered a margarita individual pizza It had four slices and it was delicious! I've never had a better margarita pizza anywhere else not even in Italy. all the ingredients tasted fresh & clean The silverware was clean the bathrooms were clean the place was pretty spotless. And I loved the decor and Ambiance. I will definitely be back. read more

I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!
