Pizzas and pineapple pizza with pepperoni

Had my slice inside and it was delicious. The perfect crispy crust and delicious flavors!! The customer service was good too! It's small, so you might not get to eat inside, but if available you should! 10/10

We stopped by on our last day in New York and what can I say . It's a pizza spot! The pizza was not for me or my kids but may be just not for our pallet. It's located on the corner of the street so it's easy to find even tho it's small . . The employees were nice and it was fast but the taste was just not there . Maybe we came on an off day . The one good thing I can say there slices are as big as my head lol .

Quick grab and go spot. Pizza was delicious. The Margherita Sicilian slice was the best I've had in a while. The spinach was alright, I've had better, but it got the job done. Service was good.

I work down the block and on this particular day, I missed lunch and also needed change to tip my valet. It was the end of my work day and I was headed back uptown to meet a friend for a run so I definitely needed something to eat. Since my office moved to this new neighborhood, I have only order my lunch to be delivered. I haven't had a chance to venture out and learn what's available in the area. Luckily they were empty when I entered. The guy working the counter was extremely kind. He was smiling the entire time her assisted me. I ordered a mushroom slice and he heated it up for me and packed it nicely so that I would have no issues eating it in the car while driving up the FDR. When the pizza was ready, I sprinkled my toppings and the gentleman packed up my za, wishinge a good day. The pizza wasn't spectacular but it was good. I was hungry and it did its job to tide me over for an evening run. It's good to know they're right down the block, literally on my way to the garage, if I were ever in a fix and needed something fast and tasty, on the go. Bonus points that the staff is so pleasant.

A good spot to pick up some quick food! They have salad, sandwich, pizza, pasta, etc. The staff is friendly and food comes out quickly. The pizza here is good for just a quick meal, but there are certainly better pizza spots in NYC. The space is clean and a very classic pizzeria type of vibe.

The pizza was very good, nit the very best but very good. The best NY style pizza is in California, actually let me rephrase that sentence, the best New York style pizza that I have ever found is in Newport Beach California had a place called Pizza Pete's. While we were sitting here eating pizza my son even said to me this is almost as good as Pizza Pete's. Not only was the pizza good but the service was also pretty good, especially compared to some of the other pizza places we visited while we were in the city. For the record we went to three different pizza places and this was the best. I have seen this location so that when I come back I will make sure to eat here again.

Wanted to try a new pizza place and came across this restaurant on Seamless. Got the vodka pie and it was delicious! 9/10. Also, they were fast to deliver. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Small corner pizzeria that also serves hot and cold sandwiches. There is nothing fancy about the place. The pizza tastes like boardwalk pizza so that about sums it up. The turkey sandwich was a sandwich that tastes like something you would get from pizzeria or boardwalk. This is one of those pizzerias you go to if you are starving and can't wait to walk another block to get a better pizza. In NYC there are too many good pizzerias to come back. 3 stars all the way.

This is our go to place for late night food in the neighborhood. We love the welcoming service here every time we come pick up our order. We're a big fan of the Sicilian cheese slices, grilled chicken sandwiches, fries, and garlic knots. The chicken sandwiches are at times better than the pizza slices there. Portions are generous and very filling for the price. Don't expect fine dining here, but the place is solid for what it offers.

With La Trattoria on Second Avenue, NYC being a block away from the hotel I was staying at during my time in the city - I thought it'd be a good shout to visit to get a pizza, as I hoped to try the authentic pizza experience while in NYC but sadly unless authentic NYC pizza means cheap, tacky and knocking me sick then this for sure isn't that authentic experience. I really wish I'd have checked reviews before visiting this place rather than being excited by their gluten-free pizza sign as I passed! Inside, the place is a little small but there is limited seating - they do deliver on various platforms. I ordered the gluten-free Margherita, the price was a lot higher than expected as they charge a surcharge for gluten-free compared to the menu - one thing which puzzled me was the overhead menu didn't even state pizzas so I had to request a tacky one - come on it's a pizza place,e, why isn't pizza listed on the overhead menus? The staff didn't seem too friendly either - one of the pizza men actually was emptying and sorting out the rubbish bins (ew) while he was preparing my food and waiting for it to cook - which surely isn't good for hygiene. When my pizza was served, it was served in a box in a weird type tray, similar to a pie - I presume that's how they do things in NY and if it stops pizza grease going onto the board, that makes the pizza box recyclable so that's a good thing! I also liked how they gave me a separate gluten-free cutter to minimise cross-contamination. The base was okay at best (again a little bland and uninspiring), it was a little rough and hard around the crust area making it difficult to eat and cut but it was ruined by the poor, low-quality toppings, not only was it overloaded with cheese, it wasn't seasoned and just didn't taste fresh nor authentic of a pizza experience which one would surely expect from the price. To make matters worse, a couple of hours after eating (I could only stomach half the pizza as I would give the taste 2/5 anyway), I began to feel rather ill, which makes me think there was a chance of cross-contamination or perhaps other methods here (such as cleaning the bins while making food) could have had an affect. Bad pizza which made me feel ill which had a negative knock-on effect on my trip to New York makes this the first place I visited in NYC to deserve a place on my "Avoid at all costs" list from bad service to hygiene practices and mediocre, bland, unseasoned food with bad quality toppings which even make Domino's look gourmet La Trattoria is surely a disgrace to NY eateries to warrant a one-star rating.

We order regularly. The pizza arrives hot and is basic. A single slice tends to have a slightly more crunchy crust than a full pizza pie. Like all pizza, it tastes best when eaten hot and it does cool quickly. I wouldn't travel far for it but it's a solid slice.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
