Great little spot to hang out at. I can't remember our cashier's name but her energy was amazing. That alone would have us return. Texas heat obviously makes it melt fast but it was still delicious. They do have some seats around plus a playground area.

I don't indulge in ice cream very often so visiting Andy's frozen custard was a special treat. I can't even tell you the last time I had a banana split, but this one was so good, rich and creamy with fresh ingredients and toppings. There was plenty of staff working at the window and food prep area. It's a brand new building that shines for sure, very clean. The walk up window was run very efficiently to better serve customers but I was not there at a very busy time. Andy's is a great option for custard lovers!

Andy's gets 20 stars! I took my family out to one of my fav spots for custard and everyone loved it! Service was speedy, we waited less than 5 minutes for all of our treats. In addition the workers had such kind attitudes, lots of smiles making for a very friendly atmosphere. Once we ate our ice cream everything tasted so fantastic. Not to mention they gave out free cups with our purchase so we get a little keep sake! I'm always happy with Andy's and can't wait to stop by next time.

Never freakin fails. Love this place- love the concretes, and love that you can make your own, though the boot daddy concrete is the best if you ask me. This is a walk up and drive through place (no inside) and everyone there is always very kind and we receive fast service each time. I love that it has many windows so you can see the inside and see how the custard is made as well. I love the full transparency and knowing that we have one close by is amazing. I first tried this in Chicago Illinois and I didn't know this was a franchise! So happy about it.

I love their custard! My go to order is the Nutty Waffle Crunch and it is delightful! Service is always quick and friendly. One thing to keep in mind this place is a pricey, I never pay under $8 for a small cup. I don't mind the price because it's always delicious, but I could go to the store and get a half gallon of Blue Bell and have it for a month. Anyways its worth it. They do have a really neat seating area with a huge connect four and corn hole game, which is great to play with friends. I love that they are open late and quick. A must try!

This frozen custard was so good, we are getting one in Cibolo and I CAN'T wait! Quick service over all and we just went through the drive through. It's worth the try in my opinion and it looks like you can go inside as well if you feel like hopping out the car.

    Enclosed PLAY AREA.

My first time did NOT disappoint! After having seen these around SATX, we are happy we are close to this location! Indeed a sweet treat, but OH the possibilities! Service was on par and it seemed like there was adequate staff even at 8pm on a Wednesday evening. After reviewing our options, we decided to get a Banana Split -- turtle style. I was under the assumption that my toddlers would weigh in and choose something else but they were distracted by the bean toss, giant connect four game & play area (that was nicely enclosed for safety). I LOVED that I was able to enjoy dessert in peace and then practice my skills at bean bag toss (which needs work, might I add). Can't wait to come back! Join Andy's rewards by using their app and score a small concrete after your first visit!

Very large menu and SO many options, it was a bit overwhelming. I'm glad we didn't go in the drive-thru, I would have felt rushed. We had a scoop of chocolate custard and a Build Your Own concrete with cheesecake bites and Cherries. SO amazing! It's a thick and creamy dessert that hits the spot! Customers service was great too. The woman at the window was friendly and patient.

Growing up with Andy's since the 1980s and it usually tastes the same at all locations I've been to. This vanilla in my straw-anna tastes a little off, then again maybe it was the frozen strawberries they used. They did however put a whole banana on mine it was covered in banana. Of course I still ate all of it and the dogs loved their pup cones. Just curious why the Cole Custer isn't on the menu full time. It's so good! I know I can order it with all the add ins but it's like 9$+. The place is still pretty new and it's nice Ann clean. Employees still learning the system but overall great experience.

Hello Andy's Frozen Custards!!! Finally have a location close to home originally had to make the drive to the Rim if I wanted to get my frozen custard fix from this place! Visited on a Thursday evening, there were only a few cars in front of me in the drive thru and ordering and check out was breeze! The staff was very friendly, a girl welcomed us upon arriving towards the menu and asked what we would like while respecting our time to look over the menu! We placed an order of the Bootdaddy and it didn't disappoint rich with Oreo and vanilla flavor I was all in! Don't forget to check in the Andy's app for rewards! Overall convenient location, plenty of space for drive thru or if you prefer to go to the outdoor counter and have your frozen custard served! Until next time Andy's Frozen Custard on Potranco, I'll be sure to visit more often!

This shop sells fudge, truffles, candied apples, and - what I came for - ice cream! They had a lot of ice cream flavors to choose from, a least a couple dozen. The smiling young woman working behind the ice cream counter offered to give tastes, but I had already figured out which flavors I wanted. I chose two scoops in a cup, one of Cappucino Chip and the other Turtle Cheesecake. They have several tables to sit at, some along a hallway and more in a back room. I took a seat and was in awe of the huge scoops given. The Cappuccino Chip had a mild flavor (I prefer it stronger) but a fair number of tiny chocolate chips. The Turtle Cheesecake had an excellent cheesecake flavor with swirls of caramel, praline pecans, and caramel-filled mini turtles. I'm usually not fond of nuts in my ice cream but I actually enjoyed the pralines. In my humble opinion, there were too few turtles. But I still loved it. If you're in the mood for a cold, creamy treat while visiting the Alamo, you'll find this to be the perfect place to visit.

The real issue came at the cash register. The woman handling payments was, unfortunately, not kind at all. In fact, "rude" would be the most generous description. It actually took my wife about ten minutes just to complete the payment for a couple of ice creams, which felt longer than the ice cream itself took to melt. What made it even more uncomfortable was watching how she interacted with other employees. It wasn't just unprofessional--it was the kind of scene you'd expect in a low-budget psychological thriller where you start wondering if someone should call for backup. So while the ice cream itself and the front-line staff were great, the overall experience was overshadowed by the atmosphere at the register. Small, crowded, and unkind is not a combination that brings us back. We'll pass next time.
