This was our first experience with Paletas, and they were quite tasty. It was a bit difficult to find the place at first, but we were treated to a wonderful cold dessert on a hot day once we did. There weren't a lot of seats just outside the building, but there were plenty of areas to rest a bit further away. You can see more of our experience on our YouTube travel channel: https://youtu.be/yEvVsg8rpy4

Place is super small with only one table, plan to take to go or eat outside. I was let down by this place. I got a watermelon, strawberry lime, and bubble gum. All were lacking in flavor. The strawberry lime was way too tarte. The bubblegum tasted like sweet milk, could hardly taste any bubble gum flavor. The watermelon was meh. Maybe it was the flavors we got, but I just wasn't impressed.

We found this place on the recommendation of our Airbnb. So we came here with a preconception that it would be thick, creamy Mexican ice cream. But this cute little shop in the park sells popsicles. We got a watermelon popsicle which was delicious and refreshing. We also got a coconut bar which was creamy, but also bitter. So not a fan of this one.

Pistachio paleta dipped in chocolate was good. not a whole lot of choices but worth a visit if you're in the area!

Paleteria is everything South Texas is about. Fresh. Natural. All the flavors that take you bake to your childhood, or that you've grown to love in adulthood. They have sweet, tart, fruity, nutty, creamy, citrus, truly something for everyone! I love taking my kids to get paletas whenever we go downtown. And they are perfect on a hot sunny day walking around the Hemisfair. Oh, and the coconut, has actual coconut shreds! So yummy!

I definitely want to come back and try the Oreo one! I was visiting town and found this place on maps. Came here for a sweet treat after dinner and this popsicle definitely tasted like a bowl of cereal and milk. It was good and the lady working was nice.

At first they were out of everything but pecan. I was told by the friendly workers to come back in 5 minutes and they would be restocked. I was expecting maybe 4 or 5 additional flavors. Instead there was a whole lot more to chose from! Cute vibes especially outside there's great seating options In the park too under the green arches for shade! Loved my mangonada flavor it was super fresh and unique that I could add tajin and chamoy on top not just mixed in.

We were in the area for dinner and walked over to check out Yanaguana Gardens since that was on my bucket list. On the way to Yanaguana Gardens, we saw this shop and had to stop by to see what's going on. We were pretty full from dinner so this was perfectly light for a dessert. There were many flavors to choose from. You can see which ones were low or had run out likely from their popularity. Very reasonably priced at $3 each. I decided on the guava and pineapple one. It surely was authentic and had real fruit because there were guava seeds in it. I did have to eat it carefully because I didn't want to break a tooth. It's because of the seeds that I took off a star on my review. My husband had the pistachio one and I had a bite. It was good. I think he was expecting it to taste more like the ice cream. I told him that it's a paleta which would be on the lighter side. Thankful for the outdoor seating to enjoy the paletas before heading over to the garden. Would be curious to stop back to try other flavors!

Located at Hemisfair Park, this is the perfect place to get something to cool off! They offer traditional fruit-based paletas but also have milk-based sweets that resemble ice cream. I opted for a mangonada paleta and added chamoy for an extra dollar. Worth it!

Stopped by for a cold popsicle. I got the fruity pebbles and the cereal was soggy. I was expecting more of the crunchiness so it was a bit disappointing. It is in a great spot right in front of the park's entrance near the playgrounds.

Location? Amazing Price? Excellent Paletas? Perfection I stopped by when I was in the area and wow am I glad I did. It's right in hemisfair park. I got the fruit pebbles paleta for $4. The ice cream part was like sweet cereal milk and the fruity pebbles weren't just on the outside. The whole paleta was filled with them. Super tasty! It was a hot summer day so walking around the park with a tower view and eating a delicious paleta was an excellent treat. Def need to go try the bubblegum next!!!

Instead, they offered a promo where if you buy a cheesecake jar, you got a free drink. Score! I tried the tres leches cheesecake, and it was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, which was great. I do wish the layer of cake was a bit taller. I do love how the cheesecakes come in a glass jar so I can reuse it, but you can also save them and give them back when you accumulate 10 for a free jar of cheesecake. As for the drink, I got a dragonfruit strawberry matcha latte. It was pretty good, but I felt like the strawberry was a little overpowering and I couldn't taste the dragonfruit. The cheesecake + matcha for $7 is a great deal! The workers were so nice, and I really love the logo of this place. Great local business to support!

The place itself was nice and clean and the setup is cute. There are only a few seats inside but I think more meant to take on the go. The ladies there were very nice to us and explained the different cute cheesecakes they had in these little mason jars. They do have glutten free, sugar free options too if you are the type of person needing to watch what you eat. They all looked really cute but settled on a tiramisu. I wont lie I did get thrown off on taste at first since my thought keep me thinking it wasn't a cheesecake but it tasted good. I did bring it home to chill it more and tasted even better. I also had this mix berry match that was good as well. I think this place is definitely worth trying for any cheesecake lovers out there. Good coffee drinks too.

I'm vegetarian and pregnant so my menu had to be modified but I was so blown away by the fact that they were able to accommodate for me and took such care in making sure my plates met the caliber and intended feeling/taste of the non vegetarian dishes. Same with the drink pairings, although mine were non alcoholic, it wasn't just a blah substitution, they really put a lot of care into making sure the drink matched the energy and vibe of the alcoholic version. My husband and I loved the story telling that went with each dish that described the chef's intentions and the products used for each bite. This was our first fine dining experience and we couldn't have been more satisfied. We were celebrating my husband's graduation and they even had a little card for him signed by the chefs! So cute! I'd definitely recommend checking this place out for a special occasion, or if you're just curious about what a Michelin Star dessert restaurant is all about.
