Okay so I went on Google and it showed me these pictures of these beautiful cakes and a display case full of lots of pastries so when I just went in today at around 5:00 p.m, I just saw some muffins and a couple of cookies but that's all I saw and then there was a big ice cream bar and a place where you could order sandwiches. I was very disappointed because I wanted a pastry and also the chai tea comes from a liquid bought from the store they don't make the chai tea themselves which I like a lot,but unfortunately most places don't do that anyway. I would ask the owners to change their Yelp pictures and also their pictures on Google to show what actually is there. read more

The food was very good and they were nice and accommodated a dietary restriction by making an onion free chicken salad on the spot. My wife says the frozen lemonade was the best she's had. Good sized sandwiches and salads. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area. read more

My overall rating here is a 3.5. A big thing for me is having a place to sit with my lunch (traveling for work). Unfortunately it was a chilly rainy day when I stopped and the only place to sit is outside which led me to eat in my car. I did not think this through as my sandwich was very messy but it was very worth it! The biscuit was nice and warm, decent size piece of chicken and overall very flavorful. Just very messy for someone having lunch in their car. Deep fried Oreos were recommended by the employee and they were worth the purchase - nice and warm on the inside. You can call ahead, order in store or go through the drive-thru. I'm hoping the next time I'm in the area I can sit outside and enjoy my lunch and the view. read more

Four stars reflects quality of service: friendly and prompt. Prices and food quality maybe pushes it a bit towards a 3. I'll try to update this review once I have tried more lunch type items. Today we tried: Frozen lemonades (flavors okay, but more icy than we expected, we thought it would be more like super smooth frozen lemonades we've had elsewhere) Cold brew was good. Cinnamon rolls. I liked that they weren't coated in icing, but the texture was more chewy than airy or crunchy and it just didn't really do it for me? Pretty, but kinda meh. Donuts. Your standard yeasted donut with chocolate and strawberry glazed. Fresh tasting, but not a deal for the price. Everything bagel with cream cheese. Nicely toasted, good quality bagel. Not stingy with spreads. Probably the best thing we had. We didn't try the chocolate crossaints because they looked soft (why?) or the muffins (which looked fine but not standout. I honestly expected more bakery options,... I think I was misled by the Yelp banner. Next time I want to try some of their hot food which I think might be more their real niche,...or maybe ice cream. I also saw one of their juices being made and it looked good (a nice amount of ginger). I don't usually go in for $7 made-to-order juice but I think theirs is probably quality if that's your thing. read more

Amazing food! We came here for lunch for the first time, and were amazed with the amount of food choices. I had the crispy chicken wrap with buffalo sauce along with french fries, and my husband had the honey hot chicken sandwich. My husband said the honey hot chicken could be a little more spicy but the taste was amazing. The fries were also fresh and hot! I have given this place numerous chances to get it right, and every time they get it wrong. When you are spending your hard-earned money to eat out you want what you ordered, not what they feel like giving you. I ordered a plain beyond burger with just lettuce, tomato, American cheese and onion. I specifically stated I did not want all the other stuff on the burger ( avocado, spinach. Etc.) What do I get? Everything else but what I ordered. I feel like I am speaking Greek or something to these people. When you have to doctor up a burger at home to get it how you want it, it is not worth the 15.00 ( without fries!) You paid for it. "Craft" is definitely misleading to be a part of its name. Ordered their "Banana Buzz" smoothie which was watered down coffee with banana syrup NO REAL BANANA USED. First latte I've had there was amazing. Second was awful.. I've given it multiple visits, the donuts: cold. You'll get a better donut from big y. Chocolate filled croissant? Don't waste you're money just go to the Walmart bakery for better. Last visit decided to give the smoothies a go. Oh boy. I just paid $16.80 for two smoothies with not one single piece of fruit inside. All made with extremely high sugar juices. It tastes like drinking straight fruit juice concentrates with sugar. Stopped in on a muggy day with a hurricane heading for New England - batten the hatches and batter the fish! We ordered BLT and fish and chips and both were fresh and fast despite the drive through, Door Dash, order online/pick up, and folks using old fashioned telephone ordering... or arcane style walk in ordering like me. There are a lot of options and I appreciate that they have vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian options. We were very satisfied and the fish was very fresh with a flaky light batter, two large wedges of lemon (excellent), fresh crisp homemade fries (nicely seasoned), and a homemade slaw that I would have like a little more of. Usually I don't even eat the cole slaw at a lot of places because more often than not it is some dubious concoction of warm mayo covered vegetative refuse. This is proper cole slaw! The fries are also decent and I can't remember how often I've had fries out of a frozen bag salvaged from a FEMA trailer and pondered why some places cannot seem to cut up potatoes? I guess knife skills are waning in America? Not at the Craft Food Barn where the fries do have a craftiness and crisp that reminded me of a long gone place in Canada called the Red Barn that was a Mecca for fries. A memory from a distant childhood (circa 1970) and it comes back eating these fries. The fish is hand battered and makes me think of a great seafood extravaganza in Portland Maine, but we're not by the sea... We'll be back because I didn't have room for ice cream. Liz was happy with her BLT, fries, iced coffee, and cream filled chocolate glazed donut with sprinkles. Simple food done right with great ingredients and intention that can remind you of better vanished times is about all I could ask for on a day like this while waiting for the sky to darken, the wind to pick up, and the hurricane to arrive. read more

Horrible. DO NOT EAT HERE. I waited 30 minutes in the drive through for 3 sandwiches and they couldn't even make them right. This isn't even just a one time issue for them, this is consistent. Their menu is wrong and they don't have a single competent person working there. And forget about eating in. If you want to eat there you have to eat outside, which works fine for some places but here it is right next to a loud highway and a smelly pile of garbage they keep in the back. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS even for a small business. Whoever runs this place must be delusional. Don't go here unless you want to waste your whole paycheck and sit waiting for the rapture. read more

This place is a mirage of some trendy place you'd find in Boston. Except there's no logic or methods people are running around the open kitchen like chickens with their heads cut off. The menu is good and it has potential to be good if they execute properly. Potentially. But they have no idea what they are doing. Coffee, ice cream, entrees, takeout, drive through, it sounds too good to be true and it is, it's chaotic. Waited 10mins for cold brew, no cars in the drive through and 1 other customer in line. Donuts suck! They look pretty. Photos are so deceiving. I have now tried this restaurant 5 times. I keep hearing that they have gone through their growing pains and are really solid now! I'm sure some folks have had good experiences, but I have yet to have one. We ordered tonight after several months of abstaining. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and buckle up, this thing was an abomination. First of all the sand which looked like it was torn apart by a bear. It wasn't a solid piece of chicken, though it looked like it started that way. I'm guessing they were checking for doneness, but let me tell you, there was no reason, this sandwich was cooked through, and then some. The most puzzling thing to me was you could clearly see that the chicken was cooked on a flat top or grill, then cooled, battered and fried. So it was cooked twice, making it have the consistency of leather. Seriously, I could hardly bite through this guy. I believe, this was a chicken thigh, which is an odd choice for a chicken sand which if I am being honest, which I clearly am. Also, this Nashville Hot chicken was not spicy. Not like "not spicy enough, but literally no heat at all. It also included a pile of blue cheese, which was not listed on the menu, and a roughly cut tomato that would have been ridiculous to bite. This is long but I have a few more gripes. This place is expensive. It's expensive because everything is al la carte and the have the audacity to charge $6 for the saddest fries on the face of the planet. I have to buy my fries separately if I order a burger? What kind of business model is this? It's insulting. My wife had a slightly better experience, though she just ordered a grilled cheese and said it was fine. I will not eat here again. I appreciate them trying, but there are serious problems they don't even seem aware of. My suggestion for the future, buy better ingredients, focus more on quality rather than speed, limit the size of your menu, and for god's sake, if you order a burger, sandwich, or wrap, just through the fries in gratis. For the price we paid for two sandwiches I was expecting something delicious. My partner got the ribeye and asked for it rare, he got and over done under seasoned strip of meat on local store bought bread, his fries were at best lukewarm and soggy. What I got was subpar at best, the bread of my sandwich had a hole in it (not anyone's fault) and all the avocado filling fell out of it onto the plate. A combatant cook knows you put the slice with a hole in it on top. The bread had not been buttered before being toasted so it was dry and burnt. When one orders a salad, the dressing should automatically come with it, right? How is it that the same salad I order has YET to be served with the dressing cup included? It's not only me, I've spoken to coworkers, STRANGERS even - (when I had to go and BUY my own dressing in a store) - who have complained simply about the service at Craft Food. Everything was delicious! I've read some of the other reviews and it seems like they've worked out their operational issues. We had avocado toast, bacon, fruit bowl, bagel with ham and cheese, a few different coffee drinks and a croissant with eggs and bacon, and everyone was very happy. Even the gluten free bun for our 5-year-old celiac was good--and gluten free bread is usually just a step away from inedible. The fruit bowl was overflowing and was almost entirely fresh blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, with a couple of pieces of watermelon. read more

I really want to like this place. It promises good quality food for a decent price that matches at a quick speed. It doesn't seem to deliver on any of that. Ive been here a couple times, and probably will continue to try it every now and then to see how they do, but I haven't been satisfied. It's tough doing a drive thru style restaurant, so I commend them for trying, but they need some work. The menu is huge and boring. At a drive thru, things should catch your eye. There should be subtle things that help the customers decide. When I first pulled up, I had looked at the menu beforehand and still was overwhelmed with the menu at the drive thru. Nothing really jumped out at me. I think a smaller menu with items grouped into categories would be more beneficial for both the customers and the staff. Starting out small with this and adding more items would be better because the locals would know what's on your menu rather than having to comb through it to find what they want. The wait was very long for a drive thru, which I expected, but I don't think a drive through could work with the way they're doing it. A smaller menu would have less things for the cooks to memorize and give them a better flow, cutting down the wait time a little bit (Both times, I was the only car in line). The food came out in takeout boxes, which meant it sat in the steam for a bit, making the food soggy. Both times, I had gotten soggy, over-seasoned fries. I ate a couple and really couldn't finish them. I think instead of putting them in with the food, maybe put them in a paper cup in a paper bag (like five guys) or get fry holders. I'm pretty sure they weren't cooked to perfection before they were put in there, but if they are cooked right, having them not boxed up will keep the fries crispy. I think you should choose a different package for the entrees too. Maybe wrap up the sandwiches in parchment paper. There's a reason why fast food places are so successful, take notes from them. Look at the way they package their food. The first time I went there, I got the steak sandwich. It was bland. It didn't taste like they seasoned the steak and it was over cooked. I know it's hard to temp steak cut that small, so just don't offer temps for it. It was very dry too, maybe a garlic aioli would do some good for it and some caramelized onions as well. Make it more interesting than steak, tomato, lettuce, cheese (I think), and bread. I think that steak just needs some garlic powder, salt, and pepper before you cook it, and it'd make it a lot better. The second time I went, I got a teriyaki wrap. That was disgusting. So sickeningly sweet, I couldn't finish I and I had a stomach ache from how sweet it was. Teriyaki is more than just soy sauce flavored sugar. I tasted no garlic nor ginger, just sugar with a whisper of soy. The prices for what you get are too high. Way too high. I'm more than willing to pay good money for good local food, but that's not what I'm getting. I really want to see this restaurant succeed, but I don't want to support a restaurant that has nothing good to offer in return. The raspberry tea was good, though. TL;DR Change the menu size and stylization Cook fries for longer, don't ask for temps on the steak sandwich, season the beef, add more interesting flavors to the steak sandwich, less sugar in the teriyaki Change the way you package the food, it'll keep better and probably cost less and seem more like fancy fast food rather than just lazy take out Don't give up on this, I know it's possible and I'm sure you guys will find a way that works for you and your customers! Terrible breakfast. I don't live in this area just visiting. I've had coffee all over the world and can appreciate the variances. This coffee was so bad.
