First time at Lids Locker Room at the Chula Vista Center location on Broadway. It's been years since I've walked around this mall and really impressed with many new shops and restaurants behind Macy's. Lids Locker Room was our first stop and the prices were very reasonable for San Diego Padres gear I got me a nice t-shirt. Alex and Tianny are truly amazing. They have such knowledge on all items. They are actually in Lids LockerRoom at Chula Vista Mall. They have a wide selection of clothes, hats and other accessories. Another business that doesn't abide by their posted business hours, which state they close at 9:00p. Show up at 8:30p and the doors are locked, sweet, might be time to update your hours online or hire people that don't close up the shop early because there are no customers around. read more

I think the manager Gerren from the chula vista Lids needs to learn some customer service. He made a mistake, tried to blame me saying i didn't pay for raised letters, when infact on my receipt showed otherwise. I came in today and hands down was greeted with excellent customer service from Santiago and Nick. Both guys took the time to exceed my expectations on a random drop in. Courteous staff, knowledgeable, and willing to offer ideas and take suggestions. Staff even told us how and where to go to get our signature in a legible computer font so that they could embroider our signature on any item of our choice!! Love it! read more

Just came here to buy a lot of hats! They have a large selection and they also customize hats. I just got my first hat and I'm loving it while my hubby got 2 pair of matching hats with our son! Worst experience in a Lid store. My husband and I went into the store because I wanted to get an SD all black hat. First, no one greeted us and and we struggled to find the size I needed. Nobody asked if we needed help. One dude was on his cell phone while the other 2 talked about the weekend plans. I asked for the mangers name as we left, Jason he said. My husband was pissed since has a VIP card for the store and he has spent a fair amount of money over the years (Since it was hat world) . Jason, you need to do something about your staff , because you never know how far a review will go. read more

First time customer at Lids in Chula Vista. I wanted to purchase the Padre version of the 2018 Memorial Day MLB cap. We called ahead to ask about the hat and spoke with Joey. He was very helpful and explained about sizing. He said if they didn't have my size in stock they could get it from another store. Of course when we went to the store we asked for Joey and he took care of us immediately. Plenty of the hat I wanted in stock and got fitted with the right size. I also wanted the old school curved brim and Joey took the time to convert the flat brim to curved. Great product, extremely knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service! I went in to pickup my online order and didn't realize my Chicago Cubs hat was a little different. The logo was not what I ordered. Unfortunately I had already removed the tags. I went back immediately to exchange it. Gerren took care of me prior for the pickup and took care of my exchange. Excellent service and very helpful. Reading other reviews I can't imagine why anyone would complain. If u really want a hat common sense would dictate that u buy it well before a store is closing. Store opens at 10am that's plenty of time. Also how can someone find anything without info. That's just retarded. No description. No sku number. How are they supposed to help u. I came down from riverside to buy my two sons SD 59/50 new era baseball caps. I wanted my newborns cap to be embroidered and they did a messed up job on the stitching. I wasn't able to just get a new plain cap with no embroidery. It took about 45 minutes for them to figure out what was going wrong with their machine. I just felt like i wasted $35 dollars.
