Great vegetables section and the food was cooked to perfection. The service was great and fast. The ambience was casual and quiet.

Service is excellent! Arrived as a large group around 11.45am. Plenty of tables were available to push together. Orders were taken quickly. We were given water and sweet tea or coke for those who ordered it. I chose the Egg drop soup. Most chose the Egg Roll. Chicken and Cashews with fried rice for me. It was served hot and delicious. Many Cashews on the top. Portions are large, everyone took some home in a container. Restaurant was cold, close to the door. Would return.

Service was great. I watched as customers came in they were sat right away. The lighting was okay. The food was good and came out hot and quicker than I expected.

Headed to the trash.

For Oriental House, our last supper. What we once considered our absolute best choice for Chinese takeout, has fallen to a position of "never again". Prices have risen- I know food costs have increased, but the price increases have outpaced costs. Over time the hot and sour soup, which used to be a draw for us, has become generic in flavor and the vegetables fewer in number. Tonight the Shrimp Fried Rice had no vegetables, the scrambled eggs not existent, and the rice was not fried, as expected. The Shrimp Lo Mein shared the same soft and small shrimp, cleverly stacked on the top of the order so that it was not obvious that's all there was in the bowl. Normally at $41, we could at least say we could eat leftovers to increase the value. Two still-full bowls headed for the trash ends both this review and our visits to Oriental House.

Best chicken fried rice around. The wonton soup is also very good. Carry out or dining in has always been a pleasant experience.

The food is very good, but the way they price things is confusing. I usually end up paying $17 for take out.

Five stars and then some…read more Lieu's Bistro is one of those rare spots where the food is excellent and the hospitality feels ancestral. You walk in hungry and leave hugged. The egg flower soup is pure comfort in a bowl. Silky ribbons of egg drifting through a golden broth that tastes like it has stories to tell. It is delicate but confident, warm without being heavy, the kind of soup that resets your whole mood. And the Szechuan salmon? Listen. Perfectly cooked, tender and flaky, wrapped in that bold, slightly spicy Szechuan glaze that dances instead of overwhelms. It has heat, depth, personality. Every bite feels intentional. What really sets this place apart is Peter and his wife. They do not just run a restaurant, they cultivate community. Every time I come in, they show me love like I am family. Not the polite, rehearsed kind. The real kind. The "good to see you again" with meaning behind it. If you want amazing food and an atmosphere that feels like home, Lieu's Bistro is it. Some restaurants feed you. This one embraces you.

Their lo mein noodles tasted great and it was a generous portion. The calamari was nice and crispy and came out piping hot, which was much appreciated! Their new bar area is really nice and gives it an elevated look. They are speedy at lunch hour, so don't worry about your service or food taking too long!
