Terrible!!! Please do not GO! Bad food: oily and long wait for simple things, no cutlery/silverware offered to eat the plates to. No good description on the menu, everything is spicy. Looks like the oil where they fry is super old, because food comes dark and taste old. They mange to ruin the most simple plates. Mask less waitstaff, no social distance between tables. Bathroom stall open from both sides, so be careful when you go, after you lock it, anyone can get in. Service was terrible, table around us left without eating due to long wait. We couldn't even get the coffee before the starter arrive and we waited for that like 20 minutes. They gave us broken plates and dirty glasses. I can't write long reviews here, but our experience was terrible, really. We were expecting to love it, and we were very disappointed we didn't. I recently switched to a meatless diet temporarily so I was happy to find this restaurant! The food is good, but it's definitely overpriced! I try to support local businesses especially black owned, but the serving sizes are a tad bit ridiculous for the price. $7.20 for an order of fries and $16.80 for the Oyster mushrooms. $1.80 for the sauce! I thought it would come with sauce already so I'm glad I did actually add some on the side. I expected a larger portion. I know the pandemic and inflation is making it hard for restaurants. I really try to be mindful of that. I always said I would never give a bad review because I want businesses to prosper, but come on! I will reiterate the food tastes ok, it's just the price! Best black owned vegan food it Atl. I usually get the Seafood Rasta Pasta but this time I ordered the vegan philly and it was A-1.

This is a black owned restaurant in Atl. Such a great experience overall! The waiter was extremely informative! The food was the so good! We had the Buffalo oyster bites, and guacamole and chips for starters which was great! We had the cold pressed juice! The strawberry and I had a mix of the cucumber and orange is the new black. You could literally taste the freshness of the juice! For entrees we had the curry stir fry and shrimp Rasta pasta! The Rasta pasta is like the absolute best! We went on a Wednesday night and now we're ordering delivery Friday night! Lol keep up the great work! read more

Outstanding experience with our amazing waitstaff person Tee Tee who gave us excellent service. Not only is she well versed on the menu, she was helpful with suggestions for our group of 5. I was visiting from Chicago and she made the entire meal wonderful. She was personable, pleasant, and very upbeat. Her suggestions were perfect and I loved how she did not hesitate to share her take on whether to add our sauce or have it on the size. She knew portions and kept abreast of orders coming in that might affect available options. She did not rush us to decide and checked back frequently to see if we needed anything. The owner stopped by our table and was very professional and we could tell he took pride in his business. Portions were large and attractively plated. We will recommend to others and be back for a wonderful dining experience with good food and atmosphere. I wish I was going to be here for live entertainment on Fridays. It needs to be in like a ponce city market area or something. While I'm a flexitarian My cousin is a vegan and was nervous about the options and she was highly pleased. Great bday gift for her. Great food from appetizers to entre. Very tasty not under or over seasoned or salted. Just really great food. Not even "good just for vegan" but good good. Our server was a sweetheart and the manager Brent was super cool. Nice vibe, homey feel. Would 100% come again. Of course there's room for growth and improvement with service, being on top of drink orders, a nice bathroom renovation and a more visible presentation of the cake/desert options. By far the best vegan food that I have ever had in my life. Was I even eating vegan? Everything besides the wait for the food was perfect. When we entered, we were immediately acknowledged despite the employees being busy. There was low lighting and chill music playing. Upon informing the servers that it was our first visit, they gave us some of their most popular dishes. They were extremely knowledgeable about the food and process of making the creations. After ordering, it did take better 25-35 minutes to get our food. I was starting to get anxious but I'm so glad we waited. My niece had the Shrimp Alfredo Po' Boy with fries. It did not disappoint. She's a picky teenager and did NOT have any complaints. She even asked to return. My sister did the Nashville Hot Sliders. She was super satisfied. I was soooo excited to try this place and support a vegan establishment in my SWATS neighborhood. I placed a curbside pick up order and had it picked up. I was doing a happy dance as I began to unbox my order until I realized it was completely wrong. I had just spent $50 on food for just one person so it was pretty disappointing. I called and spoke to Kwaku who took my order and he was very nonchalant like "yeah I just got off the phone with the customer who got your order, I must have mixed them up." He wasn't rude but wasn't apologetic either. He asked if I wanted my order remade or a refund. I opted for a refund and told him that the food looked amazing on instagram and I would certainly order again. Two weeks later I was about to place another order but decided to check my credit card account to ensure the refund had been processed first. There was no refund transaction and the original charge remained. I called and asked to speak to Kwaku and a rude female employee asked "for what?". Ok, I politely explained that he quoted a 3-5 day expectation for a refund but it had not been processed. She told me he wasn't there and no one there could assist me with a refund or replacement but she would take my info and have him call me back. After not being contacted, I called back on a later date. I asked for Kwaku and was told "hold on let me get him". She came back a few minutes later and said "he's not here". Ok, these are the kind of games I do not play. After not receiving a call a week later I just disputed the charges with my credit card company rather then put anymore energy into it. The sad part is the items I ordered sounded soooo good and I couldn't wait to be a regular customer. I spend so much money on food but will have to drive a little further to my West End favorites Viva La Vegan, Wadada Market, and Healthful Essence to support black owned vegan eateries. I even left a message on their instagram which was read and ignored. By the way, the incorrect items I did receive were gross and inedible. I got zucchini fries that were bland and mushy, a container of cheese sauce that was chalky and tasteless, and a kale salad that was warm and slimy from being packaged together in the same bag as a hot food item with holes poked in the styrofoam lid. It promptly went in the trash. I was polite and patient and gave them every opportunity to rectify the matter but they made it quite clear my business doesn't matter to them. So I was really was looking forward to trying the food here. I followed them on IG and often drive in to town looking for good veg spots. First off I asked the young lady at the counter there best options and I placed the orders. 10 mins later the waiterss and a co worker ordered Macdonalds from Uber eats at a veggie restaurant and just started eating it right there. It kind of threw me off to see them eating burgers right in front of there customers. It literally took 30 mins to get my food and it wasnt because the place was packed, it was because they were sitting there wating there food and completely forgot about mines. AMAZINGGGG FOOD!!! We got the Buffalo shrimp po boy, the pesto fettuccine pasta, with the collards, zucchini fries, and Mac n cheese. The po boy was so nice n crunchy, the pasta was so thick and creamy, we also added the shrimp to the pasta and it really adds some razzle dazzle, the mac n cheese was also so thick and creamy, the zucchini fries were delicious and the sauce that came with the fries really just pulled it all together, and the collards greens were so flavorful! My husband and I was invited to this place with a group of friends for a birthday dinner on Friday. We arrived almost 30mins after the the main guest of the party. We were greeted by a female server who was quite courteous and patient. We ordered the nachos and I believe received them in a timely manner... Our nachos and fresh juice was AWESOME! I enjoyed the lemon pepper and sweet and spicy mushrooms, the guacamole, and loved the homemade nachos. Compared to alot of the trendy VEGAN places we have tried in metro Atlanta.. this is probably one of my favs so far. Unfortunately I'm not sure the rest of the party felt the same about their food... and their entrees did take some time to arrive especially considering they ordered before we got there and we had ate our food and was still waiting for theirs. From what I understand this is a small independent business and VEGAN! IF YOU ARE A NEWBIE TO THIS LIFESTYLE or a MEATEATER BE OPEN TO TRYING SOMETHING NEW. I was sadly disappointed with this establishment. After all the raves on social media I couldn't wait to give it a try. My friend and I visited on a Friday afternoon. There was 1 patron in the restaurant but after being seated and ordering, it took 45mins for the appetizers to get to the table. The zucchini fries were cut massively so that when you cut them with the knife the batter fell off. The mushroom bites were overly battered and just did not taste well. The only difference was the texture of the burger, and I felt that the plant based burger's texture was a lot better in comparison to All beef burgers. I completely recommend the kale salad and zucchini fries. However everything else I ordered Saturday 8/8/20 was offensively not good the Rasta pasta was bland the Mac and cheese had no flavor and the black eyed peas tasted like they were about to spoil and shouldn't have been served anyone can have an off night I get it I just won't go back good luck and I hope you can season your food better in the future read more

So my husband and I ordered food from this place on our way to the airport. Mind you we ordered online and the pick up time said between 15-20 mins then we arrived to the restaurant they told us they were behind and that it would be 25-30 mins more. Okay great so we call and check if it's ready then we were put on hold several times then told it was not ready yet after we told them we had to catch a plane and requested a refund we were told by the owner who obviously has no regard for others lives that we were not getting a refund because the food was already being made and when I requested to speak to the owner I was told he was cooking and not available now once again I became upset and asked to speak to him as we don't have time to wait and would risk the possibility of missing our plane then they said they are sorry he's not available. I understand it's Mother's Day and they are behind so update your website to reflect that and I was not aware there were no refunds as I did not see that until after I called once again to check on my food. I then said so you're telling me there's none I can speak to and your not giving me my money back and if I miss my plane because y'all are backed up and failed to update y'all website that's just too bad!!! I would not recommend this place at all as the owner is selfish and has no regards for others lives as how do I lose out on my money because you failed to update your website? That's ludicrous to me and then not even have the decency to get on the phone and handle a paying customer who spent over a hundred bucks at his restaurant. I'm so livid right now and I hope this review will help the owner to treat his customers better and make sure his online ordering websites is updated with the correct information so that people have a clear picture of what's going on. Once we get there and are seated, our waiter is going to come out and tell us they don't start dine in until 5pm and our food is going to take 45min-1hr to get ready. Wait a minute. THEN she asked us for our drinks. my sis asked her specifically "do y'all have filtered water?" she stated "we have alkaline water" that's not answering her question.
