Delicious gelato in Scottsdale! My friends and I came here for an after dinner treat and I'm so glad we did. The flavor selection is incredible! I had to sample a few before deciding on the biscotto dark. It's a vanilla base swirled with chocolate biscotti flavors that was SO GOOD! I got it in a waffle cone which was equally delicious. The spot was clean and organized and the employees were friendly and efficient. We went with a black cherry with chocolate and nuts (cornetto) and also a vanilla/chocolate combo. With the small you can get up to 2 flavors. The prices are fine and I really loved all the flavor options they offered. The cornetto which was the black cherry was amazing, full of flavor with chunks of black cherries. Since the sale from the original owners from Italy to locals the new owners have discontinued various favorites that sold very well and as the years have passed we noticed the case more and more empty and flavors that seem unbalanced so the quality is not what it was, but the prices are 20% higher. I have a gelato maker at home and I'll be using it more often. I see no difference between what they're selling and our favorite high end product from the grocery. This was my last purchase. I opted for half black cherry and half coconut. Let me just say the flavors were spectacular. The coloring was amazing. There are a ton of flavors but the vegan ones have my heart, specifically their coconut-based dark chocolate. I don't know what their secret is, but it's a magical bowl of chocolate gelato. There's ample indoor and outdoor seating. Weather permitting, it's nice to sit outside but the interior walls are covered with beautiful murals that make the experience really different. Please note that they no longer offer samples - which I feel is very fair. It's not standard in any other food service category that you can try your food before buying.
