Lighthouse has great coffee and great food! Yesterday, i went to the Goleta location by Vons, and got a lavender latte and a breakfast sandwich. The sandwiches are great! I went later in the day, and they did run out of bagels, but I did get an english muffin. It was great with really fresh tasting ingredients. The latte was yummy and flavorful. The only complaint I really do have about Lighthouse is that they always seem so short staffed. At pretty much all the locations I've been to, there will be one person making the drinks and taking orders, and one person in the back making food. I have waited 10-15 minutes for a drink before. Definitely not the place I would go to early in the morning before work to wait in a long line or if I was in a hurry.

This coffee shop is beautiful. There's plenty of space inside. I love their oat latte. The service is always great.

Loved working from here! They have outlets and plenty of tables - though it tends to be pretty busy from what I saw on a Thursday. The iced hazelnut latte was really good - perfect balance of sweet and creamy for me. They have WiFi as well though it took a while for my laptop to connect to it.

I stop at Lighthouse on some weekday mornings to plug in my computer and work. It has many outlets and is quite busy, but a nice way to start the day with a latte. The coffee is good, pretty standard, and there is bagels and scones to pair your morning brew with. Parking is easy right in front. The staff are quick and kind. I'd recommend it for that sort of coffee shop you go to work at or grab a quick drink. Sometimes the music is a little loud, so don't try this place for relaxation.

The gals taking our order were ok...Ambiance was nice but it did feel a bit tight in there. The breakfast was well done-- the almond Croissant was amazing, and the cortado was perfectly made. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

We were greeted by an employee who asked us if we were dining in or take out. We said we were eating there so he gave us menus and sent us to the line to order at the counter to dine in. We went earlier in the morning at 8am so thankfully only one couple in front of us in line. By the time we left at around 9am, the line was already very long. I ordered the avocado toast and loved it. My husband got the American Breakfast with ham and also loved it. They have a good selection of pastries, we went with a ricotta cake and wow wow wow! Soft, unique breading for a cinnamon roll but it added a good sweet taste along with the rich frosting they use. An overall solid and unique cinnamon roll to me. I was satisfied with this brunch spot. Cinnamon Roll: 8.2 Chilaquiles: 7.8

We tried multiple other places that didn't have outdoor seating (so not dog friendly), but then we found Caje on State Street. It's on a protected set of streets where there are lots of shops and stores. There's common outdoor seating just outside the store, which met our objective of hanging out with the dog. Granted it was a hot day, but this store was really really hot inside, like unpleasantly so. I felt bad for the barista! The coffee is reasonably priced, all things considered (fancy flavors, Santa Barbara, crowded location) and the flavor was nice and not one I've personally had before. I asked to go light on the ice and they did a good job there. The wait was a bit long, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was all fine. Good place to stop and relax and have a good tasting coffee.

The location is nice, but it felt really hot inside. The space is small so there's not much seating inside, but they have a small outdoor seating area out front and additional seating options around the corner. They were almost out of pastries so we split their last two croissants amongst the four of us. The croissants were probably my favorite part of the visit. Most of our group seemed to be okay with their coffee choices, but overall no one was overly enthusiastic about their drink so we'd say it's about average. I ordered the iced chai latte and it was probably the worst drink I've had at a coffee shop. It was pretty much a big glass of milk with some chai spices mixed in. Very disappointing. I ended up throwing most of it away. Their staff was okay, but nothing stood out about their service so the experience here overall was pretty mediocre at best.

It was definitely a place designed for a spot of coffee and a small snack/meal. I saw plenty of people doing some studying there too. I'm sure that's a great place to do it. Onto the coffee. I ordered the cold brew black, so I was off pretty quick. I got in the car and took a sip. It was a pretty dark roast, and I wanna say pretty French in roast profile? I dunno. Anyways, it was dark, a little muddled in flavor, and not as good as other options in the area, in my opinion. That being said, it was in no way bad, and because everything else was closed, I was happy to have had something.
