I found this company thru Yelp. Hector communicated thru texts and confirmed appt with ETA. Hector and his crew came fully prepared and covered up all areas. Installed crystal chandelier for 22 feet entrance ceiling and did a solid job! After few days I noticed some smudges on ceiling and finger prints on the crystals so I called him back, without hesitation, Hector and his crew came back with scaffold and cleaned up thoroughly to my satisfaction. Had Hector and his army move all the electrical in a wall I demoed. I had called lighting and electrical after Volt electrical gave me a sky high quote off the cuff for the same job= (Volt wanted $1800 for three hours estimated of work relocating a switch, doorbell, an outlet and deleting an outlet I no longer needed. I explained in detail what needed to be done as I have done electrical to a small degree. I'm not an idiot and I felt like the Volt guys figured since I was female, I would pay their sky high newport Beach prices. Their boss called to schedule the job and I told him the cost was bogus, 600 dollars an hour for the estimated 3 hours of work they had said for maybe 25 bucks in materials???) Hector gave me a good estimate in less than an hour via text and photos without knowing what Volt Electric had quoted me. He was able to come out the next day. He charged 1/5 the price for the work and the bill is itemized. Each job had appropriate fees in my opinion. I even added an item while they were there because it was so easy to get it done as fast as they work! They made a half day job into a 2 hour job with ease. Cleanup was great, they were courteous and I was impressed that Hector had some really good recommendations for safety on something he saw while there. He is very assertive and observant. Hectors team made me so happy I called them back for a bigger project 2 weeks later. My second job Lighting and Electric did was another great experience. Let me tell you, my house has never had more light and felt more modern! We did 11 can lights, added a ceiling fixture, fixed a faulty cabinet lighting problem and added an outdoor outlet. My only frustration was why I didn't do this all sooner! Hector's team does it all so fast and makes minimal holes-its like magic how they do some installs! Uncanny. I love how my house feels with better lighting. Paint may be the cheapest thing you can do to change or upgrade your house, but lighting is the best investment to make your house feel modern, higher-end and open. Would be helpful to pay alittle more attention to detail such as outlet plates on the walls-could be straighter. When patching up, careful not to get it dripping down.
