Alex and his crew came out to install LED garage lighting, replacing old fluorescent which had been there for years. Alex also removed a cable wire in my home office that did not serve any purpose, but was unsightly. He made the wall look as if nothing had ever been there, cleaned up and then had me check the garage lighting which was perfect! He wiill do a Mickey mouse job.Claims to have all his work up to code but after the job he completed we had wires that were exposed. They also reoriented a large chandelier, turning it 90 degrees and repositioning it so it's perfectly centered over the dining table. I used their service two years ago, and I asked them Again for installing two new outlets and one outlet that stopped working. Even tho they were more expensive than other places, which gave me estimates, I still wanted to use them. They came two hours late. Our whole plan for today had to change. They were good at what they do. But even two years ago when I hired them, they were late for hours and still they were late today. They didn't call me or text me that they would be late. I had to call them twice. Communication with the owner and workers are not great i feel like. Also if you wanna use credit card other than paying in cash, they charge you 3% more. No wonder they got 4.9 Star for 234 reviews!!! (At the time of this posting) If you need recessed lights, look no further, and stop your research, as I already did that. Hector is amazing. I contacted him back in February 2024 when I was shopping around for installing 38 recessed lights (6-inch with cans). He responded promptly and gave me the quote for 36 lights at that time. I was still in the discovery process, I'm still shopping around at that time, so I told him, I will let him know if I'm ready to move forward for this project with him. Other people are slow in response, some took over a week, with the back and forth, it's kind of tiring. (mostly say they are busy, etc.) while in the process of getting other quotes, something came up and I had to postpone this project. When I'm continuing this project after the postponement, I got more quotes, and in total I got 6 other quotes, I had other companies that gave me higher price than Hector. I also had other companies that gave me lower price than Hector, however considering the time it took to communicate with them, I decided to give Hector a chance (given how promptly he communicated with me). That being said, I say Hector's price is reasonable and competitive. I contacted Hector again in late June 2024, and this time I asked him to come for a site visit (same as I asked the other guys ~ I also asked them to do a site visit). I don't want a surprise, that when it's time to do it and they come, then say, oh extra charge for this and that... Hector responded promptly as he did, he came to my house, (I added 2 more lights to bring total of 38) and he confirmed the cost (I also asked him to do additional thing outside the recessed lights) He answered my additional question for confirmation afterwards via text promptly too. Comes the day of installation, Sergio is assigned to come to do my project. Total of 6 people came, and they lay down plastics everywhere before they started. They pin where the lights would be and confirmed with me, BEFORE they start drilling. I also asked Sergio an additional drywall patch texture, and to change the trim of the existing high ceiling recessed light (old style that is not fully covered). All new 38 recessed lights, drywall patch texture, high ceiling trim replacement and bath fan are DONE that same day! Sergio and the team came at 09:23AM, and they started at 09:30AM prompt as scheduled, done by 04:30PM including the clean-up. Efficient, Professional and Amazing Result! Their light is one for all of a kind, you can change the light temperature to 3000k, 4000k, 5000k as you wish, while you can also change the light Wattage (obviously higher wattage, brighter the light) I want to thank Hector for his flawless communication with me. Hector's team was on time, professional, fast and overall amazing! The cost was totally worth it too. They installed 4 recessed lights in my bedroom and removed the existing light fixture. They also removed another light fixture from another room and replaced it with the one that was originally in my room. AWESOME SERVICE! We called several electricians to obtain quotes for moving a chandelier junction box and re-routing our Cox coaxial cable from the garage to inside of a hallway closet to move our router to a more central location. All of the quotes were all over the place but Lighting and Electrical gave a comprehensive and fair quote. The crew arrived at the scheduled day and time. Before beginning the work, the lead gentleman discussed the scope and approach. Then he and his crew took the time to prep the area by laying down plastic covering over any area that may have be subject to debris, dust, dirt, etc. The crew worked methodically and carefully, asking us along the way if we were good with their approach (i.e., outlet location, chandelier height, etc.). I was impressed with all of them as they were friendly and professional. I was even more impressed with the care they took in making sure the chandelier junction box location was centered correctly in our dining room as well as over our dining table as we requested. Hector is a mess. First, he schedules me between 1:30 and 2:30. I messaged him at 3 letting him know no one had arrived. Then he tells me they didn't have my email so they could not schedule me. He could have called or texted me (given he had my phone number) or messaged me on Yelp that they could not put me on the schedule without my email. So, I gave him my email, and he messaged me that they will arrive between 4 and 4:30. I get a call at 4:45 from one of their technicians letting me know their day ends a 5 so they won't be able to do the job that day. Why would Hector even schedule at 4:30 when the technician's day ends at 5? I'll be hiring some other company that honors their appointments or at least communicates better that there's a change in schedule. I'd give a zero star if it were available. read more

These guys are the real deal. Found them on thumbtack and really glad I did. They're super professional! They plastic cover the entire area, move stuff if needed, talk to you about your plan and double check before any cutting takes place. They do any patching if it's necessary at all! They were also very kind and replaced my switches since I had old ones. I'll post pictures later since I'm having them come out next week to do even more! The value is honestly crazy for how good these guys are. They did 4 6-inch smart recessed lights for me (not replacements) and then replaced a chandelier with a smart 12 inch light. I had a wonderful experience with Lighting and Electrical. When I contacted this company, Hector was able to promptly provide me with a quote for 2 chandelier installations based on the images of the chandeliers from the manufacturer website and scheduled the installation that same week. The electricians arrived on time and were very courteous. They started off by laying blankets on my floor to ensure the scaffold does not damage my flooring. The first chandelier was straightforward to install and they asked for my input on how I wished to have it cascaded down from the ceiling. The second chandelier was difficult as they essentially had to build the chandelier from scratch, and based on the reviews from the manufacturer's website, the instruction manual was bogus. However, the team was very patient and meticulous with details in getting the work done. It did end up taking them longer to complete than the first install. They cleaned up the workspace nicely afterwards. I am very pleased with the stunning results and continue to receive many compliments on my chandeliers.
