It was important that my kids received the exact same prescription lenses as written on their RX because they are needed for school. Fortunately, after searching around for hours I discovered Lilburn Family Eyecare and read the reviews about their Optician Troy Weber. I emailed him a few times, he provided prices and the estimated time of 2-3 weeks to receive the lenses, so I stopped by the office to see him. Troy was awesome, explained everything to me, and I provided him the frames, and later that evening I brought in my kids so he could take a measurement. This was a Friday, and because of after-school activities I was in a rush to get to their office before they closed, and I just missed it by like one minute, but he was still there and took the measurement. Troy sent off the glasses and surprisingly had them the very next week. Wow, that was fast. When I brought in my kids to pick up the glasses, Troy was speaking with a client and Dr. Amin went to get the glasses and made sure everything fit properly. Best of all, my kids love their new glasses, and they can SEE!!! Troy even recommended a product to use so that when my kids are in school wearing their mask and their glasses fog up, it prevents it (No Fog Cloth), and it really works. Optician Troy and Dr. Amin are outstanding and so is the front staff. If you are looking for a high-quality eye care center that handles everything, this is 1000% the place to visit. I saw Dr. Rabitsch this week and was very impressed by her and by the practice as a whole. I think I will be staying here for a good long time. I have an old eye injury that means I have to exercise extra care and also have severe dry eye. In searching for a new eye doctor home, I created one-pager for new doctors just so I don't need to explain timeline of the injury, followup treatment and key diagnoses. For the first time in visiting new eye doctors, it was 100% clear to me that yes, Dr. Rabitsch had looked at the medical paperwork I'd filled out ahead of time. Not only that, but the nurse/assistant who saw me prior to seeing Dr. R also had reviewed the paperwork. Wow. That seems so simple, but having been to other eye doctors in the past couple years, it's not the norm. Both the assistant and doctor also repeatedly checked into to make sure they knew my goals in coming and were great about explaining what they were doing and why. I ended up getting an eye exam (which I needed, but hadn't planned on) and while the Dr. invited me to use their optical department, there wasn't any hard sell. Due to my injury, I tend to need a new, expensive prescription about every year, so I mentioned a place I get my glasses. She shared that they have a budget frame line and gave me a rough estimate of what my prescription would likely cost there. That is just the info I need without feeling guilty b/c I'm not immediately planning to get glasses there, and as I look at getting my glasses made, I may very well end up back at the practice to purchase them. Yes, as one review noted, there may be a little extra wait time, but for a doctor one doesn't generally see that often, I can live with wait time if I know and trust that the medical team is going to be thorough in the exam and be clear about their explanations to me.

As part of te exam, the doctor changed my contact prescription which happens from time to time. No big deal. However, he also changed my brand. I finally received a call back indicating they could revert to my old prescription and contacts' brand. 3 weeks ago, I stopped by the office again. New contacts were allegedly being ordered. Again, I have followed up multiple times via text and voice mail...no response. Not only will I not be returning, but I also strongly encourage anyone to find somewhere else to go.

Dr. Flores's secretary was able to get us an appointment the following week and she was really awesome and very professional. My kids were able to see Dr. Flores and let me tell you, this guy is really cool. Dr. Flores absolutely loves what he does and it shows. He explains everything in great detail, has a sense of humor, educates you as he goes step through step, and answers all of your questions. Something that could be a scary experience for a child, he makes it as fun of an experience as he can. Dr. Flores does not use tropicamide either to dilate your pupils, which is wonderful, as they use a new device that does not require it. This is important, as you can leave the office and not have to worry about having your eyes hurting by the sunlight. His office uses an Optomap device, this digitally scans the retina, is non-invasive, and takes only seconds to complete. A thorough eye exam here is $100 as of 2022 and that does include the prescription. For anyone who needs an eye exam, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Flores. As for buying lenses and glasses, all of those are sold through Costco's, not Dr. Flores as he is independent and does not work for Costco's eye department. If you need lenses/glasses I would highly recommend going to Lilburn Family EyeCare and seeing Optician Troy Weber, he is the best in the area and will make sure your lens is the exact same as your prescription. I tried for a while to get it out myself but all that happened is by 5:00 p.m. it was still in there and all other optometrists, even though they were open, said either the doctor had already left or they weren't even answering their phones. Dr Esekhigbe's staff answered the phone right away and was very courteous. He immediately agreed to see me that day. He was very personable and knowledgeable making me feel at ease in a difficult situation. It made all the difference to be able to see someone on Saturday rather than having to wait for Monday or go to the emergency room. He saw me today for my follow-up and was so happy for me that my eye is healing really well. You can tell that he cares a lot. In the world of keratoconus it's hard to find professionals who are both knowledgeable and caring. After speaking to several friends about their experience with their LASIK surgery and how happy they were with it, I decided to take the plunge, and am soooo glad I did! I decided to go with mono focal surgery and have one eye done for close vision and my dominant eye done for distance vision. I had tried it before with contacts and had no problems with it, my brain works it out and I don't notice any difference unless I cover one eye. I had the surgery 2 days ago and am already seeing things better than I have in a long time! Dr. Wild was super patient with me, taking his time to answer all my questions, explain the procedure and what to expect, even what could be done later if I didn't like the mono vision. Dr. Smith was great, explaining what was going to happen during surgery and even telling me what was going on during the surgery. He and the tech made sure I was comfortable and had enough numbing drops in my eyes that I couldn't feel anything that was happening. All of the staff from the girls that checked me in at the front, to the techs that helped me through each process were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions I had. They put my mind at ease about having surgery on my eyes.
