    Strawberry short cake
    Bryson S.

Got my dad's birthday cake here and it was pretty good! Frosting is not too sweet. We got strawberry shortcake. Fresh strawberries were nice, but the jam was a bit sweet, the cake itself a little dry but good overall. If you are in a crunch, liliha bakery has got your back.

Came here with some work friends. Food was ok. Mostly local comfort type food. No one had any complaints. Loved the butter rolls that comes with the meals. Service was ok. This place has a busy ambiance with noisy background. We were too full to grab any bakery items like their popular coco puffs. It's a casual & convenient spot but not anything I would go out of my way for.

I had the mahi mahi dinner - the fish was flaky fresh. The service was really good - Our waitress, Sydney, was so ALOHA and friendly. She convinced us to get dessert so the Dubai Chocolate coco puffs were on target.

Always a brunch go-to. Came on a Sunday morning and it was packed. Checked in but didn't have to wait too long, decent amount of seating available. The location feels like a mix of the old original location with a mix of newer styles to make it feel more modern but homey. We always start off with the rolls and their famous jam which is the perfect start while waiting for the food. We ordered the oxtail soup which was very clean but flavorful. It came with a decent amount of oxtail meat which was pretty tender. It also came with two scoops of rice and ginger to add to. There was an option to add saimin noodles but it's not needed since you get rice with it. The loco moco is always a go-to, pretty large serving and the gravy is pretty standard. Then after we're done, we grabbed a number and ordered some cocoa puffs togo!

Can't speak for the food in the restaurant, but the pastries are sooo good! We got the fruit croissant and chocolate haupia Chiffon pie! The flavors were so fresh and decadent. I truly loved their desserts and will definitely come back to try more!

World famous cream puff! Came here for brunch and also got some of their pastries to go. We got the loco moco and loved it. The coco cream puff was my favorite, followed by the matcha a close second. It was a short 15 min wait for a table when we were there and restaurant was very busy, though they turn tables pretty quick. Will return again!

I love going to Liliha bakery with friends and family. I always get their oxtail soup and I love it I could probably eat 2-3 bowls of it lol Service was great and the ambiance gives that family restaurant feel to it.

I loved my experience from beginning to end! Our server was very polite and attentive. The manager looked professional and well dressed. The butter rolls were so good. I had to order another one. The raspberry jelly was incredible!!! The Waffard was amazing was both crispy and light and fell apart perfectly in my mouth. It didn't feel heavy. The cream was delicious. The white whipped cream had a coconut taste. I enjoyed my corned beef hash as well. It wasn't too salty. Everything about my brunch was delicious and I would come back again. As a matter of fact, I'll be back for my birthday!

First off, I love all the Liliha Bakery's but this is the one I frequented the most. I love the atmosphere here. It's lively but not over the top. Service has always been great. Never had to wait too long to be seated. The food is the best. Best French toast on earth. The bread & butter is so so good. I can't wait to go back.

Whenever my brother comes home to visit, we always make sure to hit up Liliha Bakery. One of those comfort food locations that he always wants to visit. I personally like this location better than others because for one the location is closer to where I live and the parking situation is easier. There's always a wait to get in, but they make it easy for you to check in. There's a machine where you type in your name, phone number and the number of people in your party. My only wish is that it would tell you how long the wait is so you know whether you should just stick around or go for a walk around the shopping center. Luckily the wait wasn't very long when we arrived, so we were seated within about 5 minutes of arriving. Our go to orders are the Smoked Pork Belly and Kimchi Fried Rice. There's never a need to look at anything else because these two items are always a win! The smoked pork belly used to come with eggs, but I guess it doesn't anymore. He was also eyeing out the Mac Nut Waffard because he has had that and thoroughly enjoyed it in the past. My brother can eat, so when he is able to leave a restaurant feeling full and completely satisfied, you know it's a winner. Liliha Bakery did this for him. We've always had a great experience here, which is why we keep coming back.

Rating actually/ 4 1/2, stars. Went here on a Saturday at around 9am. It was crowded, but we got seated pretty quickly. We ordered their regular New York Steak (4/5) & their Miso Butterfish (5/5). The steak was cooked fine but not too juicy since a NY steak is usually more lean. I wanted to order their Prime Rib, but they start serving that around 10:30am to 11am. Bummers. The Miso Butterfish is a winner; full of flavor. Just watch out for any small bones. Also got their famous pancake which I forgot to take a picture of. Lots of parking at Highlands. Service was great as usual.

Smoked pork belly loco moco with multigrain rice.

Met a friend for breakfast at nine in a Friday. We were seated quickly because there still a lot of open tables. Our server was great, efficient but still took time to show aloha. She didn't rush us since we were catching up but was right there when we were ready to order. Brought our yummy basket of signature grilled butter rolls and their special jelly quickly. YUM! Love these, warm, crispy, buttery, I look forward to having these every time. She ordered the roast pork loco moco eggs over way and I ordered the smoked pork belly loco moco eggs sunny side up. My friend told me LB has excellent multigrain rice, and since I'm not a big fan of fried rice in my loco moco I was sold! We both got the multi grain rice. It was perfect with the loco moco. Gravy went well with it, rice was cooked to perfection, not too hard, and both texture and flavor was great. Good choice! Our dishes came soon enough and both our eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. My friend ate every bit of the roast pork, eggs, and gravy, leaving only some rice. I had two large slabs of pork belly cooked to perfection, nice and crispy and of course not dry. Tasted great even without gravy, but I always enjoy LB gravy. Since it was a lot of food I took half home. I have another small meal! Our server checked on us at appropriate times, only thing I would have liked was a refill of my water. Other than that, we were taken care of well and given the space we needed to catch up. She even brought T air our containers without us asking! By 10:30 the restaurant was relatively full with diners all enjoying their meals. We were able to enjoy our conversation, restaurant wasn't too noisy so it was a great place for getting together. It was also fun to see desserts being brought out from the back ready to go up front. They all looked so beautiful and delicious. Will be back, of course! May try the roast pork loco moco next time. Thought I took a pic of each loco moco but did not seem to get one of my friend's roast pork loco. Oops. But did get one of mine.

However if you go in not starved, you will end up buying one or two baked goods and being happy with them. I tried their azuki bean bread and their coconut cream bread. The first thing I must say is that the bread is soft, not too sweet and good. The cream in the coconut bread is light, fluffy, not overly sweet and the whole thing together was a rather positive experience. I had a few words with the lady behind the counter and she said that they're super busy morning time. Of course, without zippys next door, they got all the baked goods business. I enjoyed their breads and I will definitely return. They probably have been in business for a long time, however this is my first time going and I will return for sure!
