I first considered Bulls, , but they didn't have a website or a publish menu. I couldn't figure out what they serve Lil Rays has a website, menu, Plus the food was superior Much better than shaggys The flavor profiles were complimentary and cooked to perfection The crab cake was darker than I expected, but no effect on flavor. For those of you who don't like hush puppies, you should try theirs Absolutely wonderful (and I don't care for hush puppies! Go there, bring your party!

I thought I recall it being disappointing last winter for this snow bird, so I tried again. Slow service, long wait on meal and then it was wrong: fried grouper and not grilled as requested, but I ate it and left. The Cajun Potatoes were pretty good. Slow to get the bill, too. The iced tea and fish were not very reasonably priced.

Yelp, made it to lil Ray's, which came highly recommended. Your ambiance and flare is casual. We are a party of 5 being served by Jay. For apps we have a couple of orders of gumbo and fried mushrooms. Mushrooms are delicious. Mary ordered the fish tacos, they are average, fish wrapped in flour tortillas with no sauce. Matriarch got soft fried crabs with a salad, they were really good. Pam, Fee and I all got catfish. It was good. Fee ordered hers with new potatoes and they were delicious. I was so hungry, I had limited food pictures. Jay was so tired and it showed. Note the stars. Lil Ray's is definitely worth a try.

We were in Long Beach for a funeral. A friend invited us to go eat here. We came into the restaurant about 15 minutes before closing. However the staff never indicated that they were upset because we came in close to closing time. Actually they were super friendly and the service was great! The food was fantastic. I ordered The fried catfish platter. Excellent! We also ordered the fried mushrooms and my wife ordered the boiled shrimp. The shrimp was fantastic my daughter ordered fish tacos. She really liked them. Look forward to coming back to this place!

Stop The Presses! Alert The Media! Real French Bread Found in Mississippi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For years I have told anyone who will listen that ordering a po-boy outside the New Orleans metro area is an expertise in futility. But I'm a hard head who loves po-boys like firemen love playing with their hoses. Until now ignoring my own advice has brought me disappointment and lots of soft bread. Soft bread has its place, but not on a po-boy. Lil Ray's convinced me to order a pro-boy because their menu explained that they receive a bread shipment from New Orleans daily. Hell yes Lil Ray's is a seafood joint that would be at home in any southern coastal community. The restaurant is one large room with seating on picnic tables. I strongly dislike picnic tables, but they worked. The menu is strongly weighted towards seafood particularly local seafood. Shrimp, royal reds, crawfish, etc were all available, but man was I craving a shrimp po-boy. Their version was darn near perfect. The bread was crispy outside with the light airy inside filled with perfectly seasoned and fried shrimp. It was delicious and a great example of a shrimp po-boy. Not a MS po-boy, but a real deal, correct bread having po-boy. But wait! There's more! If the po-boy isn't enough to convince you this restaurant is great, listen to this. I also had debris fries with cheese. Legit debris fries with real gravy. Hell yeah for the second time. So after all this pontificating I'm still giving only four stars. Why? Because the service was slow, unfriendly and pretty awful. I hope that was just a fluke, but even if it wasn't, this place is still worth a visit. With kindest regards, I remain, John L. H. Probably the best fried shrimp on the coast, and also some of the best crab cakes you've ever had!

Decent service, great food. However I always find hair in their Cajun ranch. The only issue I've ever had here.

We ordered blackened mahi mahi, side salads, Yum Yum bread, and a seafood special which was blackened trout served over pasta with a shrimp seafood cream sauce. Everything was excellent!! The blackening on the fish was so delicious, the Yum Yum bread was so light and fluffy and crusty and fresh. I also ordered a Marina margarita which had pineapple and lime juices. The margarita was delightful although I didn't taste or feel much alcohol. I would still order it again because it was so tasty and refreshing. Great service, could not have been happier. The kids menu was also nice! My son had chicken tenders, chips, and a strawberry smoothie. Total for 3 of us was $96 pre-tip.

This time we sat out on the back balcony overlooking the harbor and got to watch the sunset and people out fishing and throwing cast nets. The view was great, but the chairs were flimsy and uncomfortable. For starters, we got the smoked tuna dip which comes with a generous portion of dip and a bunch of tortilla chips. We loved the dip itself but the chips were too brittle to scoop up the dip though a spoon was included. I had the blackened shrimp, which comes with this sweetened sauce that really sets off the flavor. They are not spicy, so don't let the blackened part scare you. Also included was a bit of somewhat dry pasta which goes well to lap up all the flavors left on the plate, and a small side salad. My wife had the redfish which came with a very large filet and more of the same basic pasta side. Steve's Marina is consistently good and the harbor view is always welcome, plus the service was quick and friendly, but I will say that they are overpriced for what you get. My wife and I shared an appetizer, had two entrees, and tea to drink - no alcohol or dessert. The bill total, after a normal tip, was over $100. I feel like you can get more for your money elsewhere because this just isn't a hundred dollar meal kind of place.

My wife and I were in town celebrating my birthday weekend and were looking for a place that offered both culinary excellence and a great atmosphere--and Parrish's delivered on every level. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by our waiter, Casey, who was attentive, personable, and extremely knowledgeable, offering great recommendations throughout the evening. We started with the beef tips, which melted in your mouth, and the French onion soup that tasted like home. Our Caesar salads were light and perfectly balanced. For our entrées, the Marry Me Chicken pasta was bursting with flavor, and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. We added a lobster tail and the crawfish mac on the side--both excellent choices. Dessert was the chocolate lava cake, which finished the meal perfectly. Every appetizer, entrée, and dessert was consistently delicious, and you could truly taste the care put into each dish. The owner even stopped by to make sure we enjoyed our evening and personally boxed up our food, which was a thoughtful and memorable touch. I would highly recommend Parrish's to anyone visiting the Biloxi/Long Beach area. We will absolutely be back. Truly Exquisite.

Are waiter was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The seafood dip with the fried bread was amazing. The food came out for the dinner and we weren't as impressed. One daughter had bacon wrapped scallops and they were great, the other 4 of us were not so lucky. My wife and I ordered the "Kenny's feast" because it had everything, steak, shrimp, scallops, lobster, fish, crabmeat... a while selection. The fish was ok and edible. The scallops were good. The lobster and shrimp were rubber, the steak was cooked correctly but near inedible due to the major gas/ propane cooked flavor. My other daughter had a blackened chicken pasta dish that had a very sour off putting flavor and she didn't take a second bite. Another daughter had the duck and she said it was ok, but lacking flavor. So out of $300 for dinner only one and half meals were edible. The pasta dish was retuned to kitchen and taken off the bill, the next complaint of the "feast" meal seemed to fall on deaf ears when we mentioned the issues we had. So I chalk this visit up to sub par cookery and we won't come back again.
