Pork chop, mashed baked potato loaded, corn bread
Mark F.

Had the Monday pork chop special with loaded baked potatoes and cornbread. The pork chop was perfect and so tasty. The loaded baked potatos (mashed potatoes with toppings) was good but sure wish they gave you a bit more. The cornbread, not so great. Pretty dry and crumbly. Would have preferred one more side, like some type of veggie.

Popular area restaurant, huge outdoor space with a cover so it's perfect for a warm day, even if there's rain. Went for brunch, exceptional service even during the rush. And this area is pretty small so feels welcoming and everyone knows someone else. Got the oyster variety, and the eggs Benedict. Food was delicious. And I like that there's a large bar right in the center, so it's a great place to come for drinks.

Excellent seafood and warm ambience. The Gris Gris oysters were served on rock salt and the fried shrimp and oyster gris Gris po boy was top notch. The grilled shrimp on the salad were seasoned well.

We decided to stop in to Bacchus on the Beach the night before we left town. I soooo wish we would have had time for a quick bite beforehand, though. Their food was delicious and I would have absolutely returned to try more treats. All of the ladies in our group got appetizers. We ordered the crab croquettes, the Mardi Gras poppers, and the seared ahi tuna. We all shared a bite of everything and it was phenomenal. The drinks were tasty (I had an old fashioned) and the service was top notch. If you are in the area, definitely come check out this wonderful restaurant and enjoy the beautiful sunset!

We went today for Mothers Day brunch. It was very busy. Our party of 6 was seated promptly. The service was incredible. As busy as they were our server was on her A game. We had apps, entree's, cocktails from the bar. Everyone loved their food and drinks. I couldn't decide on what do order, the server suggested the Oyster Sampler. A dozen char-grilled oysters. 12 oysters prepared 4 different ways. My favorite was the "Jackpot Oysters". Picture enclosed. Our bill was less than we expected. This was our first time there. We will be back!

Wow. This place was great !!! Food was absolutely amazing all the way around. The view from the outdoor seating was quaint and warming with some beach vibes mixed in. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely make this a regular stop when I am in the area. I had the chargrilled oysters and smoked tuna dip as appetizers. Both were made very well and tasty. For my entree I had the redfish special with a crab cake and shrimp. Wow. Talk about good. Even the broccoli was cooked perfect.

Great food, everything we had was good, but the smoked tuna dip was awesome. Shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. Waitress was very attentive and we got our food quickly: we sat on the patio and had a great view.

Good food, good scenery and gorgeous weather. Bacchus is always solid. We sat outside for dinner and enjoyed the "First day of Fall" weather. Everything was great. Bacchus is on our regular rotation. It never misses.

We had an amazing server Becki (with the good hair). Very helpful, great recommendation and attended the table the perfect amount. Debris fried were fantastic! The patio is always the spot to sit and great vibes.

The Bacchus Boy Poboy

My oldest son took me to lunch for my birthday and it did not disappoint! He got the Bacchus Boy Poboy and he said it was amazing. I got the Shrimp Poboy. The bread was soft in the inside and slightly crisp on the outside. The ratio of tartar sauce to sandwich was perfect, not too much and just enough. The tartar sauce had a perfect tanginess and the perfect amount of shrimp. Our server gave good service, food arrived in a timely manner and drinks were refilled as necessary. The ambiance is always great. It was a beautiful day with a cool breeze. Always nice to enjoy eating outside.

I was looking for a new place to eat in Bay St. Louis and this place popped up. I looked at the pictures and the reviews and they looked really good. When I saw the picture of the pork chop, I knew my husband would be excited because his favorite thing is a double cut pork chop, we got there at about 230 on a Sunday afternoon and we're seated immediately. The service was great. I wasn't super hungry so I got the crabcakes appetizer and a side salad which I did not get a picture of crabcakes were good but not the best crabcakes I've ever had and they were more like crab balls, not crabcakes, but the taste was OK. The pork chop was tasty, but it was a little bit overcooked so my husband was disappointed you get your choice of side so he picked the creamed spinach and it was good but it could've been hotter and the cheese on top was not melted. There was also some kind of sweet sauce that was cold in a cup that came with it and we couldn't figure out what that was for because it wasn't something that went well with the pork chop. he also asked if they could bring us some bread three tiny slices of French bread with some butter packets and they charge an extra dollar for that which we thought was pretty funny because if you weighed these bread slices they weighed almost nothing. All in all it was a decent lunch but not spectacular. I would try to go again and give them another chance because they have great views of the marina and it was the day we went so we sat inside but I would go back to sit at the outdoor bar area that looks great.

Surprisingly good food, great service, and a vacation vibe. You can't go wrong with the fish tacos or the creole sandwich.

This store is the best…read more For years I have lamented the fact that there is not a good butcher shop on the MS Gulf Coast. I can lament that no longer because TBT is legit. Located next to what is probably the shadiest gas station in the area, TBT occupies what had been several failed restaurants. They seem to have broken the location's curse as they are often busy and for good reason. Tuna Dip - Ever had TBT tuna dip? It is smoky, chunky, and delicious. They sell a sizable container for $10. It is a hell of a deal and goes really well with pork rinds. It is the same recipe they use in the restaurants. Steaks - Oh hell yes. They have fresh-cut steaks of all varieties in prime and choice. They also often have bone-in ribeyes cut about 2-3 inches thick. I got one of those once and when I cooked it all of my neighbors came to see what the hell I had on the grill. Of their steaks, I prefer the fillets and ribeyes, particularly the prime ribeyes. They are very high quality, reasonably priced, and taste delicious. Lamb Chops - This is the best place on the coast to buy lamb chops. Most come in a marinade of oil and some green stuff. I am sure the green stuff has a name but I can't remember. I recommend removing them from the bag and marinating them yourself. That will increase the flavor. If you don't like lamb, don't buy these. But if you do, they are awesome. Fresh Seafood - They get fresh stuff straight from fishermen so there is always a good selection of fresh shrimp, fish, and crabs. I have bought some shrimp before and they were on par with what I have purchased around the corner at the harbor. Berled Crawfish - During the season they sold crawfish for around $1.99 a pound. It is the best deal on the coast, but they didn't sell corn, potatoes, or sausage. But if you needed some berled crawfish, they were cheap and plentiful. Prepared food - They usually run a smashburger special with a bag of chips for about $10. They grind their own meat using ribeye and fillet so it's pretty tasty. In addition to the great selection of food items, the staff here are really great. It seems to be a family affair and everyone I have encountered has been super nice. They even laugh when I say dumb stuff which is always a plus for me. If you are on the coast and need fresh stiff to grill, head to TBT Meat Market.
