Love this place and all of its menu it was so good and the prices were great. The service was really fast and it's a cute interior to eat a nice meal in.

Great Chinese food (for this far up north). Not comparing it to SF Chinese food because it's not the same caliber. But the food is good, the service is friendly, and the space is clean. Unfortunately, they don't have any round tables for big groups, but they can accommodate at least groups of 8-10 because they put tables together for us to fit us in. We made a res because of our group size, and we had no issues being seated right away. They serve water vs hot tea, but the water glasses are big and they are constantly refilling! Super good service. We ordered a lot of dishes because we were a group of 8. We called ahead and special ordered jai (also called Buddha's delight) which is a common dish for Chinese new year. It's clear rice noodles with veggies and tofu skin. It was delicious! We also ordered the seafood platter, beef chow fun (small charge for the wide noodles instead of mein), salt and pepper fish, green onion pancake appetizer, Manchurian beef, another veggie platter (I think it was just a deluxe veggie dish), honey walnut prawns, and basil chicken which was not spicy in my opinion. All of the food was good. The Manchurian beef and salt and pepper fish breading was a little thicker than I like but the flavors were delicious. Support local businesses!

My friend and I read the reviews here, and prompted us to want to try it. We ordered take out. After we ate, and we were going to save the left overs, we discovered dirt in the lid of the containers. Disgusting! Absolutely disgusting! As I sat there waiting for our food, I observed uncleanliness, which surprised me because many of the reviews here stated it was a clean place. Not so. But the worst part was finding the dirt in the crease of the lid. The food itself was nothing to brag about. What a waste of my money!

Big chunks of meat, plenty of food! This was taken after we ate!

I grabbed some take-out from here, the service was quick! It seems like they do more takeout than sit down business. But it is beautiful inside. I got the pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, broccoli beef and moo shu pork. The moo shu was the standout, with the delicious plum sauce! Yum! Everything was good, the portions were plentiful, and good ratios of protein to veggies.

Foil wrapped chicken is my favorite here. Not a lot of Chinese restaurants offer that. Fried calamari, bbq pork fried rice and chow mein was all spot on. Seafood pan fried noodle was ok. Instead of the clear broth sauce I'm use to, it was the dark soy sauce based. Solid place for Chinese stir fried food.

What a great place! Food is so good. GREAT portions and super tasty. Friendly service and clean interiors. Bathrooms were very clean! If you are hankering for some good Chinese food in the Petaluma area, Lily Kai is where's it at!

Great food and service! I only took one photo but we had the pot stickers, sampler, vegetable chow mein, pork fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and sweet and sour pork. We had our family of four and had plenty of left overs for the following night!

    Best Singapore Noodles!

You want Chinese food when you are in in Petaluma? This is the place to go! We shared the green onion pancakes (excellent!) and the crab wontons (not crispy enough). I would order the pancakes again. I had the wor wonton soup and the dumplings were obviously fresh made and not overcooked as often times they are! The BBQ pork in the soup was theeeee best I have ever had and when I go back I will order the BBQ on its own if that is an option! My partner had the seafood noodle soup and said it was the best he has ever had and he tries it whenever it is on a menu so that says a lot!!! I tasted my friends orange chicken and was disappointed. Once again, it was not crispy (like the crab wontons) and the sauce was very sweet. Our other friend had the Singapore noodles and loved them! I did not try but as you can see in the pic, they look divine! Can't wait to go back!

Just not good quality. Greasy, American style Chinese. Not a lot of fresh crisp vegetables and missed spice and clean Chinese flavors.

When I was there, chinese opera music was playing. I was told Chinatown Restaurant has been in business for about 30 years. It looks like it's been here alot longer. I was there at around 430pm on a Thursday. It seemed like only one man was running the whole restaurant. He took my order, made my drink, served other customers, then went in the back. I ordered Wor Won Ton Soup and Fried Chicken Wings. My Wor Won Ton Soup had a thin broth and was mostly zucchini and mushrooms. It had 9 dumplings, 2 shrimps, bamboo shoots, and some greens. It needed some soy sauce for seasoning. It was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. The fried wings satisfied my fried food craving. Deep fried and crispy! Came with a sweet 'n sour dip with some chinese mustard. I would like to return and try their lunch plates. I like this restaurant's old school vibe. Notes: - street parking - restrooms are men/ women, and clean.

So we got the lunch specials: Lemon Chicken with fried rice and Orange Chicken with Chow Mein. Here's what was good: The orange chicken and the chow mein. What missed the mark: The lemon chicken was bland and the fried rice needed more salt and seasoning. It was decent, but nothing to write home about.
