She was very friendly, efficient and made sure not to get any tint in my eyes which has been a challenge every time I've had it done at other places. I also really appreciated the fact that she cleaned my lashes before applying the tint, which is also something unique. She gave me a curly cut and charged me nearly $120. - I have wavy hair but sometimes straighten it - the layers in the back ended in the middle of my head and I couldn't straighten it for 6 months because it looked awful - it wouldn't lay flat and had a huge dip towards the bottom. It looked insane. - She cut so much from underneath my hair looked stringy on all sides when wavy and uneven on the sides if straightened. - Front layers around my face were completely uneven - I went to a different stylist and she pointed out everything she still couldn't fix and how the front "blending" wasn't blended, and showed where I had pieces that were still very short on one side and longer on another. After 6 months of growing it out. I work in a professional environment and got feedback from my manager that I should "spring for a decent haircut" after she cut my hair. This wasn't inexpensive at all. Emily seemed distracted and had mentioned that she relocated from a different salon in the city and hadn't brought any clients along with her. She is a nice lady but it is not professional, honest and borders on unethical for her to present herself as an experienced, seasoned professional and charge a rate appropriate for that skill level only to start the appointment late and completely ruin my hair for the better part of a year.

I wasn't rubbing or anything but they almost ALL fell out within a week of me having my last fill. I have loudly complained to all of my friends and remembered my friend having BOOM lashes all of a sudden who said they weren't extensions. SO she said she'd had a lift and tint. Essentially a "perm" to curl the lashes and tint to give your natural lashes that vavavoom!!! I'm SO very excited to say the least. SO excited. The waiting area is clean, extremely comfortable and QUIET. So far I'm loving the atmosphere. Fingers crossed for some BAM for my lashes!!! I have to admit I'm a big fan of the lash lift and tint!!! I have decent natural lashes. Mascara helps boost them but I'm used to being low maintenance with extensions. So I was looking for low maintenance again. My extensions ALL fell out, I believe due to allergies, and the technician who did them (NOT RETA,) offered to redo them but I was having SUCH bad eye allergies that I had hives and my eyes were swelling so I just opted to take a break during allergy season. It was an easy breezy appointment and I LOVE Reta. This new space is JUST stunning.

She is an absolute sweetheart and so much fun. My first fill I asked for more volume and I think after a few days I realized I shouldn't have gone heavy on volume so maybe a step down. Which I asked for at my second appointment, today. I also asked to have the length more tapered on the outside and inside of my eye to give it more of a cats eye shape. Karen is super open to feedback and just wants to serve her clients the best she can. I was initially worried about asking for something different but I'd been going to the same place for 3 years and it's understandable that I have a way I like my lashes done.
