Lily Laundromat is spacious for the city, and the area inside is very clean. A major plus is the free street parking available nearby, which makes getting here so much easier. There's a great variety of washers and dryers to choose from, and they even have vending machines stocked with detergents and dryer sheets in case you forget yours--a huge bonus in my book. The location feels safe and welcoming, and there are plenty of cafes nearby if you want to wait elsewhere while your laundry runs. The people here doing their laundry were friendly and created a relaxed vibe, which is a big contrast to the sketchier laundromats I've experienced in the city. What sets this place apart is the convenience of being able to pay with either coins or a card. It's such a thoughtful touch that makes Lily Laundromat stand out. New machines, lots of space for folding, clean and well lit. Vending machine has detergent and supplies if you run out. Machines accept Coins or Cards (no app required). Change machine on site as well, and attendants during certain hours. The only thing I didn't like was the 2.50 minimum for the dryer, but that seems reasonable for 30 mins. read more

Yes I recommend this place! Once a month I come here to wash my comforter and the BEST part is the Apple Pay feature! All their machines accept wireless credit cards. No need for cash anymore! Also since I've been coming here, I've never experienced a machine broken or malfunctioning, which is great! read more

Best laundromat in the area! Workers are nice, i love that its staffed so my stuff feels a little safer. Clean, plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, large variety of sizes. Most importantly after trying out many laundromats in the area, i found that this place has the most efficient dryers, they must keep the lint traps cleaner than others. Best of all, it takes card, and you dont even need to preload one of their cards, you can just tap and go (and use apple pay!). There are some great coffee shops and restaurants in the area as well. And there's a bathroom, just ask for the key! Well lit and safe at night, also right in front of the 27 bus stop. Yep, love it so much that i take the bus in. Great stuff. read more

Very nice and spacious laundromat!! I've used this laundromat a handful of times and have always had a good and positive experience! I had a problem with my laundry, and the woman up front gratuitously took time to help me. It's not very crowded inside, and the machines are usually pretty readily available. A few machines were closed, so there were fewer than there could've been. I used their self service each time, but I know they have a wash & fold option for those who are interested. The washing machines have different sizes, so different sizes will cost differently. These options will also cost more: wash temperature (hot, warm, and cold), extra rinse, different cycles, etc. The dryers also had some different sizes but not as many sizes. You pay a quarter 5 min, so you can keep adjusting the time as you see fit with each additional quarter. The dryer automatically stops when the door is opened. read more

I just moved to the area decided to try it out it was the worse experience that I encounter I pay extra for extra rinse for my clothes. When I was there I noticed not once did the machine generate hot water it was cold I figured all those machine has been putting out cold water. The owner has been cheating the customers when you pay extra for hot water you should get hot water and when I brought this to the owner attention she was very rude and told me it was not her problem it will be the last time I will come to that place save your money go somewhere else. This is my go to for laundry- I have been going to Lily Laundromat for the past year. I generally enjoy doing laundry here-pleasant environment, well functioning machines, pleasant people. Only reason for four stars -I was slightly put off when I attempted to do laundry (no drying as it closes at 9pm at 8:25pm on Wednesday eve 8/21 - I was told rather abruptly and rudely NO - and shooed out the door by the lady. Was a bit taken aback- There could have been a more pleasant way to communicate the final laundry hours, such as placing a sign on the door? But overall , a decent place to do laundry. ***10/9 I am updating my review to five stars - I have been back multiple times with always pleasant experiences, and the owners placed a sign in the door (with the last wash times (8pm) hopefully this makes it clearer for all - thank you! :) read more

Just thought I'd mention, yes this is a real review, no I don't know the owners, lol! First time using their service. Pick up and delivery. I had the Covids and these guys really came through for me. Ended up getting it on Laundry day, ugh! After a couple days of researching if it was even possible for me to get this service under these circumstances. I found Lily Laundromat here on Yelp. They reassured me it would be ok and that they were willing to take on this task for me, on a Sunday at that. I expected it to be done the following day in 24 hours, but they got it all done (75lbs of laundry) from pickup to drop off in 6 and a half hours. NYE DAY 2017 Yes, I work in the restaurant industry and was dawned with the 86'd linen/rags (basically meaning OUT OF STOCK) with today being a holiday, and majority of businesses being closed due to celebration/ festivities; it was fate that I found this little gem! It was 8am and I'm searching all over the mission area, for not only a convenient place near my location but also a somewhat safe area to do so. Strolling around with a cart full of linen and rags I couldn't believe I found Lily's! Not only is this place open, its incredibly clean, well organized, and owned by a small family of 3 that's story is posted on the community board upon entry. Prices are pretty descent due to the up to date facilities and amenities also a wide range in sizes too! It only too my 30-1hr to wash, dry and press my items. Look out for Lily's! read more

After a bit of research I found Lily Laundromat for a first-time pick-up and delivery experience. I couldn't have been happier. I was hesitant because it appeared to be a "luxury," but I didn't have a choice because I needed help. I placed my order mid-afternoon on a Sunday and it was ready that same evening. Some time later, I need help again, and I'm hopeful I will be just as pleased as the first time. It's fast, convenient, and so easy to schedule online. It is truly reasonably priced as compared to other services. Somehow, their service also makes you feel like they care. They fold so well that it fit much better into my home space. Laudromat is fine, but pick-up/delivery service is bad. Lily sub-contracts to some do-nothing "innovator" company, who subcontracts to Door Dash, who subcontracts to drivers. The order page asks for specific directions for the driver, which I provided, but they communicated NONE of this info to Door Dash driver, so I just ended up with a barrage of texts from an unknown number asking all the questions I'd answered in my order form. Driver ended up leaving and cancelling the order. Had to call another company. read more

I feel like the only professional of my generation in SF who actively enjoys doing my own laundry. And going to this laundromat in particular! I have a washer dryer in my home but while it's being fixed, Lily's has been a wonderful place to go. I love being able to use HUGE washers and do a ton of laundry at once. Sheets, duvet covers, towels, guest bedding...BAM they can all go in at once!! And they dry so fast in the industrial dryers! The ambiance is very nice and relaxing. After I put my stuff in the washer, I can buy a coffee nearby and relax. They have wash and fold (which seems pretty reasonably priced) if that is what you prefer. Take cash as the machines all accept quarters. There is a change machine that accepts bills including 20s. read more

I actually like doing laundry (no not also a serial killer, promise) so maybe I'm a little bias about laundry in general BUT the laundromat where you have to do it can make or break your laundry day. That being said, I always have a good experience here. It's generally pretty clean and I don't feel like my clothes will get stolen if I walk away for 15 seconds. The windows aren't held together with masking tape like some other laundry establishments in the neighborhood so that's always a plus. The staff is really nice, my boyfriend and I came in an hour before closing one time and the girl working didn't hate us for staying until close. I feel confident that my clothes are clean after washing them here. I would definitely say this is the best laundromat in the area. read more

Went to Lily Laundromat for the first time this weekend. Honestly, I'm so glad I decided to look up laundromats on yelp, because I was about to go somewhere else that apparently is not well liked. And then that's how I found this place! It's very clean and comfortable-feeling. The laundromat isn't sketchy, and neither is the location. The people who run the place seem very nice, too.
