We used to go to this restaurant when it used to be at the beach and was called @peru. Got to eat there again, this time in downtown Hollywood. Still have amazing food. Great presentation. Delicious flavor. We had the causa, chaufa, Peruvian wings, and ceviche. Ton of food. The prices might seem a little steep but you get a decent amount of seafood. The owners are very sweet and check up on you personally. The service was excellent as well. We'll be coming back! read more

Went out and had a nice dinner with my girlfriend's family. Food was great. There was live music, we even tipped him and everything. Fun night out! Creative new Peruvian restaurant in the Hollywood strip on Harrison Street. Owner Mario greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Daniella our waitress, made good recommendations and the service was consistent and very good. The food was delicious and very satisfying. Would strongly recommend the Snapper and the grilled Octopus which was awesome. Other thrillers were the baked lamb and andichuso ( grilled calf hearts) which were flavorful and delicious. My friends and I went for Halloween we decided to go inside this restaurant the ambience is really pretty they had dinner I did not but they did say that the dinner was really good also has great portions now the only thing that was discouraging was that they only had the owners wife at the bar drinks were very minimal and we had to wait a while and it looks like she is way over her head with her micromanaging the situation. There was a long wait time due to she did not allow any other of her staff to help. I asked for a mimosa she Pours very little and when I mean very little I mean really small portion she poured more orange juice then the actual liquor; also the reason I know this is because the second one that I had I asked her to just give me just a mimosa plain no juice or anything and when I tell you were small It was like not even half of the actual champagne glasses and she said to me it will cost you more if I add more mind you very cheap wine at that. She also gave me a little attitude which I did not appreciate so with that being said we are definitely not going back. read more

I wanted to like this place after reading the reviews but was very disappointed. First off, when we asked about happy hour we were told that it was buy one, get the other at 50% off. I ordered a pisco sour for $9.95. It was not good - way too sweet. I asked the waitress if I could get something else or if it had to be the same thing for the half off. She said it had to be the same thing. So I reluctantly ordered another one. When the bill came, I was charged full price for both. I questioned this and was told that the pisco sour was not on happy hour. So not only was I misled from the beginning, but I was blatantly lied to about having to buy a 2nd for the happy hour discount as there was no discount. To top it off, 18% gratuity is added to the bill regardless of party size which is not advertised anywhere. And once you give your credit card, the copy they bring you back to sign suggests even more gratuity! Even without the price gouging on the drink, the prices are way too high for what you get. read more

I consider myself a foodie. My sister in law recommended coming to Lima Peru and it was worth it. I have tried a lot of Peruvian food in South Florida and this is number 1 in my opinion. I had the Aji de Gallina and it was great. The service was great as well. My wife ordered the vegetable rice which she says was really good. We also had the light battered fish that came with yuca and veggies. The only issue was I did not take any pictures. I highly recommend giving Lima Peru a try. read more

Wanted to try Peruvian food and picked this restaurant based on reviews and it being local. They were complying with COVID precautions and place itself was clean. I was looking forward to trying fried snapper but they only had 1 size which was way to big and $42 so did not get . It would be helpful to offer a few sizes. I was recommended the fish with seafood in a creamy sauce and my husband the Lomo Saltado. My fish was tender and shrimp was good but the calamari, octopus and mussels were a bit tough and the dish was swimming in the sauce which may be the norm but became overwhelming. My husband said his was just ok and the biggest complaint was the beef cut was tough for supposedly being a tenderloin cut. The owners were nice but would explore other Peruvian restaurants. read more
