This place is the real deal! We were looking for a place with great seafood options and came across this gem. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service was fast. The food was freshly prepared and tasted great. The complimentary corn nuts was unexpected but a great way to start the meal. It was salty and crunch. The paella was packed with flavor and had every seafood item you could imagine. It is a pretty big portion so you should plan to share it. We also decided to get the small fried snapper. It was freshly cleaned and prepared and was fully of natural flavor. It does come with the onion and tomato salad so I'd recommend picking another side so you don't double order on a side. This was one of the very best restaurants in Florida. From my experience, most food by the beach isn't superb but this was tender and juicy and well seasoned. I found myself craving this for the rest of the duration of my trip. Best seafood I've had in Hollywood Beach. Best Peruvian spot on the entire boardwalk. The sauce in their ceviche is to die for. The fish is so fresh! We enjoyed every meal we had and kept coming back for lunches and dinners. My toddler, who is 2 years old and not a fan of seafood, cleaned her entire plate! The service is friendly and quick. I absolutely love this place! We came here for an early dinner and we decided to get a bunch of appetizers. I will say that it became an entire meal for us because the portions are very large. They have some outdoor seating but I don't really recommend this because it can be very windy. So we sat inside. It was air-conditioned thankfully. They have a small diner like tables and it doesn't look very upscale at all, but I will say that the food makes up for this manifold. We tried both ceviche is the Mixto and the other and they were outstanding in their own ways. I will totally get this again. I also decided to try the beef heart which was delicious and came with a really delicious lipsmacking sauce- a combination of spicy and tart and seller which was absolutely amazing. We didn't really get any dessert because we were so full from the meal. I will say the total bill was about $100 with an entire bottle of red wine as well. The wait stuff is really excellent and they recommended that we were ordering too much food when we ordered and entrée as well and explained that the appetizers were more than enough. Perfect Trifecta: amazing food, amazing location by the beach, parking garage directly across Wowwww did we step into Peru! The fish and shrimp ceviche was incredible. We got yuca fries too while we waited for the main dishes. Lomo saltado was classic and the sauce for the escabeche de pescado was great! Both the ceviche and escabeche dish came with a nice piece of sweet potato that they must roast with a special clove or spice that tastes incredible. We were so full from the amazing food, so afterwards we walked along the beach, and then had easy access back to our car in the Margaritaville garage. I really want to give this place full marks but it just misses it for me based on value. Impressed with how friendly the service staff was and how quickly everything came out. The nuts that brought out for an appetizer was surprisingly good. The yuca and sweet plantains were since it the best I ever had. The dissatisfied came with the snapper. I know I ordered it fried, but it needed some sort of sauce to go with it because it was really really dry. Also for $38 for a medium, it was pretty small and not worth the money. But the food is worth it all, serving up delicious Peruvian at a reasonable price in large portions. Leche de Tigre: This just looks impressive, ceviche served in an oversized margarita glass. The liquid base is truly amazing with vibrant citrus and coconut tones. Also, lots of nice ingredients like onions and herbs. The fish itself was tender and mildly "cooked" by the ceviche. Also, some nice deep fried veggie things on top. A great way to start the meal. Jalea: This portion is HUGE! It's mainly a bunch of fried calamari and fried fish chunks, but I did see two fried shrimp and one fried mussel (shell and all). Oh yeah, some fried yucca on the side too. Their tartar sauce is ok, but I asked for some aji verde sauce to give it more flair. All the thinly shaved pickled red onions on the side are great to complement the fatty richness of the fried seafood. Seco de Codero: Saw this as being on quite popular on Yelp and had to give it a try. Another very filing portion! A tender gamey lamb shank in a nice sauce resting in a pool of flavorful beans and peas. With a little bit of rice on the side. It felt a bit French / North African to be honest. Tasty all around.
