This place just keeps getting better and better. They've done some slight rearrangements since I last visited. More tables and some remodeling. Their complimentary bread comes out toasted now and the delicious accompanying verde sauce is just as good as ever. The ceviche is fresh, the bistek is cooked well and the Milanesa is crispy, crunchy, and delightful. Service has always been top notch here. I love this little gem!

Loved the tallarin verde con bistec frito! Loaded with sauce, and the beef was so tender! Service was friendly. Plenty of parking in the lot. They give free bread with a green sauce. Portions are decently big! I devoured my plate. Can't wait to go back :)

Delicious | Great Service | Great presentation $$ Wow, I'm so glad we stopped by here after our friend recommended this place. We came here on a weekday about an hour after they opened. The interior is clean, and that mural in the back caught my eye! It's a beautiful painting of Machu Pichu. Service was quick and very helpful. The lady gave us suggestions, the most popular dishes: Ceviche, lomo saltado, and aji de gallina. There were three different types of ceviche dishes, so we went with the shrimp (camaron). The lomo saltado is a robe eye steak dishes with fries and rice. The aji de gallina is a creamy chicken dishes with potato and rice. The presentation with the ceviche was so nice! The ceviche de camaron is a MUST! That powerful lemon sauce is so good and cuts through any fish taste, if you are not a fan of a seafood taste. I can see this appetizer frequently eaten during the summer, as it is very light and refreshing. Love the shrimp. It is served with huge corn kernels and corn nuts (?), and sweet potato. The sauce has a little bit of a kick to it if you eat some of the red pepper flakes. Whoa, I'm so glad I paired this dish with the aji de gallina because the creamy sauce helped put out the hot fire. I'm sensitive to any heat, unfortunately, like even pepper. The ceviche was absolutely excellent though. The aji de gallina was a very creamy chicken dish with a scoop of rice; it is a comforting dish. The lomo saltado rib eye dish is delicious too. I can see why many order this. It's tasty with the fries. The meat is good quality not like other places where you have lots of grisel or fat, and it has good flavor (not dry). We loved all three of these dishes and plan to get them again along with something new. Great Peruvian spot! The restroom is very clean. This place is a great find. There is ample parking in the lot. Nearby is a good tienda, La Nortena, if you are looking to pick up good tamales or Mexican bread treats.

Ceviche mixto. 10/10 so fresh and yummy!

Food was amazing! Visiting Portland from California and did a quick search for Peruvian food. This place is a 10/10. Food is fresh, great portions, friendly staff, and everything we ordered was so good!

Lima Peru is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. I love Peruvian food, and Lima is definitely the place to go. My favorite dish is the tallarín verde, but their lomos saltado was also really good. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try new Latin flavors and be immersed in Peruvian culture.

We ordered an appetizer and 2 main to share among 3 adults. The drinks were good. I had the purple corn drink, it was refreshing after a 4 hour hike. Fish ceviche...great presentation and ingredients but the acidity of the dressing was overpowering for 2 of us. Beef dish was delicious. My favorite was the seafood paella. Gorgeous and tasted very good. We devoured the 2 entrees. Service was slow but the food made it worthwhile.

Great ceviche, paella, and pisco sours. Service was great and ambiance was pleasant and clean. Will definitely be back on Sunday for the stews.

1/2 Polla a la brasa with fries and salad

I studied abroad in Peru and my partner grew up in LA eating lots of Peruvian. This place stands up to both! Everything we've gotten has been just what we wanted. It's pricey, but there really aren't that many Peruvian restaurants around Portland so I'm more than willing to pay. This time we got the 1/2 Polla A La Brasa and the Tallerín de Pollo.

1/2 Chicken was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Been looking for a good Peruvian restaurant and found it while I was out in Beaverton. Everything was great from the staff, ambiance, and food. The beans were delicious and hearty, the chicken was cooked perfectly and flavorful, and the plantains were delicious. This was perfect for something healthy, yet hearty. I will definitely be returning. Don't miss out on this great location.

Ordered 2 large dishes for 3 women. Lomo saltado $16.50 and Arroz con Mariscos paella $19.25

It's easy to bypass this slightly run-down looking restaurant in a little shopping plaza. But trust, Lima Peruvian should not be missed...there's a reason families flock here for meals. It's delicious, authentic, and very filling! The prices are also reasonable especially since most of the dishes are meant to be shared. We ordered arroz con mariscos paella $19.25 and Lomo Saltado beef strips with veggies and fries $16.50. Those two dishes were enough for three women, and we just barely finished it. Some of the servers may not speak English, but everyone was super warm and friendly.

We enjoyed the food on Puerto Rico on our cruise so this was a treat. The restaurant was vibrant with island decor and family photos on the walls. My wife ordered a Mojito and I had a Rum and Coke. The mojito was underwhelming and was missing flavor. On to the food..... I ordered the Mofongo with pork and my wife had the garlic chicken. My meal was moist and tasty along with being filling. The garlic chicken was pounded thin and overcooked, very dry and hard to eat. The accompanying beans, rice and salad were very good. I mentioned the quality or lack of to the waiter (I think was the owner) and he questioned me like I was wrong. No apologies given. I didn't ask for a discount and wasn't given one. All I would have liked was an acknowledgement. We won't be back especially with a food truck park within a quarter mile away with almost 30 assorted trucks.

They have one seasonal fish with the regular combination of calamari (sautéed to perfection, tender and tasty), scallops, all in a creamy rice base with little steamer clams presented in a semi-circle around the dish. The…read morerestaurant is beautifully decorated, colorful, and unmistakably Peruvian the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere feels authentic, the space is immaculate, and the attention to cleanliness was noticeable. Easily 5 stars for the ambiance and overall presentation. For food, I ordered the Lomo Saltado Criollo. It wasn't your traditional lomo saltado, and I'm assuming adding the word "criollo" and changing the presentation is what justifies the nearly $30 price tag. That said, flavor-wise it was excellent. The seasoning was on point, the ingredients were well executed, and the presentation was beautiful. No complaints about the quality of the food itself. Unfortunately, the service was a different story. Upon arrival, I stood waiting for approximately 7-10 minutes before anyone assisted me. A kitchen employee repeatedly told me, "She's coming," so I assumed the server would be right over. During that time, other guests arrived after me and were also waiting. When the server finally came out, she acknowledged me by saying she'd be right with me, then proceeded to assist the guests who arrived after I did. They were only ordering drinks, but it was frustrating that she didn't take a moment to determine who had been waiting first. Once seated, service remained inconsistent. Another table that had arrived before me was still waiting to place their order, and since I was dining alone and trying to catch a flight out of PDX, I was concerned I'd be overlooked. Thankfully, the food came out quickly. However, throughout the rest of the meal, not once did my server check in to see if I needed anything. I had to flag down another employee for aji and later for my check. Coming from California, where I'm used to paying California prices, a quality lomo saltado typically runs between $22-$27 and is often accompanied by attentive service. I don't mind paying $30 for a plate when the food delivers, and this one certainly did. But for that price point, the service should match the quality coming out of the kitchen. Overall: excellent food, beautiful restaurant, disappointing service. If Casa Zoraya focused on improving attentiveness and guest experience, this would easily be a 5-star restaurant.
