I'm…read morehappy to say I'm still a regular patron and it is still being well-run and managed by James Moran. They now offer food and many promotions like Trivia Night, pool tournaments, South Milwaukee High School fundraisers, trips to Ireland/England, and then there's St. Patrick's week. Morans takes over Milwaukee Avenue with daily events and an outdoor Irish festival, which never disappoints. With World Cup upcoming this summer. I look forward to spending a lot of time and money there :). If you've never visited, this summer is a great opportunity to do so. Cheers!

Our group sat in the back room, which had plenty of seating and could participate in the trivia with ease. The service was attentive, clean, quick and just felt comfortable there. As you do at an Irish bar, I had the Guinness and it took me back to my time in Ireland. This was a great evening - I would totally come back!

There was another person there having a fish sandwich for lunch, it was a large looking sandwich and he said it was great. The bartender, Anthony was fantastic. Very friendly and very accommodating.

The problem on Fridays, however, is making a decision to eat something else because the fish fry was so delicious. But I guess that's a good problem to have. Be sure to go and check this place out. They have a great selection of Mexican food on Tuesdays. It was hard for me to choose, but I finally decided on a quesadilla for $9.50 and added rice and beans for $1 each. My husband chose the taco place for $10. Sour cream is an extra $1, salsa $.75. Bailey our server was great, she was spot on. Every employee greeted you with a smile and a hello. It is a nice atmosphere here, very friendly. Upon leaving, there were a couple at the bar that said goodbye and to have a nice night and chatted with us for a little bit. I am thinking they are regulars, It is so nice to have people do that and you never saw them before.
