This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Ketchum. It's new, clean and modern. It's walking distance to shops and restaurants. We stayed here for 3 nights, Gourmet breakfast is included in the stay and the restaurant for dinner is outstanding. It's refreshing they inforce vaccination and masking requirements. Floors 4 and 5 offer larger rooms with views and controlled access to those floors. The gym and hot tubs are refreshing after a day of skiing. read more

This was our first stay at the Limelight in Ketchum and we will definitely return. The room with a balcony was outfitted with chairs and table for enjoying the sunshine and view of the mountains. The king bed & pillows were cozy and room spacious. Best of All, the breakfast Buffett was the best EVER! Complete with an assortment of fresh juices, fruit & veggies and real scrambled eggs! By the way, the bacon was crisp and delish. Don't pass up the pastry selection brought in daily from a local bakery. Happy we spent three fabulous days at the Limelight! read more

Great modern luxury hotel in Sun Valley. Solid experience all the way around. Helpful front desk and concierge staff, fun and large lobby with tons of seating areas, big screen projector if it happens to be game day, excellent lounge food (especially the pizzas), clean rooms with big Samsung TVs, eco-conscious (no single use toiletries, no plastic water bottles), and I really enjoyed the underground parking garage instead of valet give the number of trips to the car with our outdoor and baby gear. We stopped by to have a drink at the outdoor area and loved the place so much that we booked a room, grabbed our stuff and moved! And this did not disappoint Corner room overlooking the town.. sunrise was stunning AND a huge tub !!! My FAV! And to our surprise - the best breakfast buffet we have had in years. Best veggie burger in town!!!! They really go the extra mile with this thing. Most people get jealous when they see me eating one. The one issue is I often make it a double and they have no standard upgrade price for this, so please add the upgrade to the menu. read more

If you're not a local don't bother coming here. I was instantly made to feel like an outsider but the local guy who the bartender knows got all of the cheer oh and I guess he didn't have to wear a mask as he walked in. The bartenders are complaining to teach other as I'm standing their and they also have zero personality. The bar staff didn't know that I was apart of a group that walked out to the patio so they preceded to talk crap about the size of the group instead of be thankful that there are patrons coming in so they still have a damn job. Both the hotel itself and the staff were superb! In all of our interactions with the staff we found them to be gracious and responsive. The rooms were very accommodating and spacious, especially the corner rooms. Breakfast was wonderful, with a very nice variety. We enjoyed happy hours in the bar/lounge area. Both the fitness center and the pool/hot tubs were excellent. They provide shuttle service, taking us wherever we wished to go in the Ketchum area, on top of the every 15 minute runs to the slopes. My company booked meetings here of which I am normally a part. The hotel is requiring vaccination, even to come in only for meetings and stay elsewhere. They will not accept proof of antibodies, so clearly there was no common sense involved in this decision as multiple studies show natural immunity is more effective. Don't force your family or coworkers. Just stay elsewhere. read more

Limelight Hotel - New American Near Me - Ketchum, Idaho

I recently completed a 5 day stay in Sun Valley -- with 35 people in my group - and we couldn't be happier with the Limelight. (I am in the travel business and a tough judge!). At a time when good service in ski towns is increasingly hard to come by, the Limelight staff knocked it out of the park. Exhibit A: I asked the bartender if they had a specific brand of beer that I know several people in my group liked, but it was not one they normally carried. By the next day, she had ordered 4 cases. Exhibit B: The bed linens were great but I have a tough time sleeping with a thick pillow. The staff searched throughout the hotel for a thin one, and left me 8 (!) to choose from. When I mentioned that I still hadn't slept well, Kris at the front desk offered to drive to Hailey to buy me one (I am not not THAT fussy and waved him off!). Exhibit C: We all arrived at the airport at different times (35 people!@) and the hotel staff handle the airport transfers with ease. And when we got there, their staff is happy to drive you anywhere in town in one of their fleet of SUVs, for any reason. Sure makes it nice not to have to rent as car (at $300 a day!) Exhibit D: Lots of my clients had small changes they needed to make to their reservations, and the hotel handled them all with a smile (also increasingly hard to come by these days). Most every client mentioned to me how great the service was. So for a big group visiting Sun Valley, we were all really impressed and happy with the whole team. Nice job folks! read more

Probably one of the best mid range hotels I've ever stayed in. Rooms are huge, super clean and beds are very comfortable. The lobby is welcoming and modern. They have a delicious complimentary breakfast. Every evening the lobby and patio opens for dinner and live music. The pool and hot tubs were the perfect afternoon hangout for relaxing. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The ONLY bummer is once the dinner crowd arrived, going to the pool/hot tubs weren't really an option. You have to walk right through the seating area in your robe or swim suit. Plus the pool is right next to people dining in nice attire. Besides that it was an AMAZING STAY!! 10/10! read more

Overheard a manager say to an employee "You're still banking with Bank of America?" In a very condescending tone and the employee was clearly dejected. It's absolutely inappropriate #1 to talk to someone like that who's making less money than you or just period. And #2 in earshot of customers. I'll never stay with the limelight again. WOW!!!! Another incredible stay at the Limelight. I can't say enough about this magical place on earth. It's amazing for families & adults alike. I have nothing but positive things to say about the Limelight. First, the staff treats you like family...they are kind, loving, and accommodating. Second, the food is incredible. They have a pizza oven that makes the BEST pizzas. Also, the gym is fantastic. Two extra large jacuzzis and heated pool. Wonderful play room for kids with a large room adjacent room where nightly music plays. The rooms are very cozy. To top it off you are walking distance to everything. They also have community cars that you can borrow and shuttle service to drop you off and pick you up to the mountain, etc. Side note: our 3 year old was hospitalized when we were here and they put bananas, pedialyte, and crackers in our room to help us without us even asking. So kind! Also, daily hot chocolate served in the lobby in the afternoon. Thank you Limelight. We love you!!! read more

We booked this hotel for our 3 kids and a puppy. Was going to be our first time. Unfortunately the airlines canceled our flight after arriving at the airport because sun valley airport was closed due to weather and the next flight wasn't till 4 days later. We called the hotel from the airport after learning that our flight was canceled to ask for a refund from the hotel and they flat out refused. After speaking to the supervisor they came back with half refund. Their complete lack of understanding of the situation or empathy for families who are dealing with travel interruptions was appalling. Of course you have a 30 day cancellation but weather disruptions and airports being closed should be an obvious consideration for you to waive that for families who made every effort to be there. Horrible service! read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Limelight. It's location is exceptional, the staff are great, and the facility itself is very well done. Unfortunately, the room above us was being worked on, leading to lots of stomping and loud noise throughout our 3-day stay. We eventually called the front desk and complained, leading to the noise stopping, which we weee very appreciative of. I understand there never is a really good time to do renovations, so we were just unlucky. Since the hotel is so nice, however, it is something we were able to look past. Gorgeous property. Top of the line. But, you get tagged for a resort fee upon checkout $26 a night. They evidently don't pay their employees enough because a dollar per night fee is collected for some employee fund. I didn't authorize this but it was there. So just be aware for a two-night stay, in addition to paying for the room and tax that you paid before, you get saddled with another $60 when checking out. Buyer beware. The rooms are beautifully decorated but, like Grandma's house, not to be sat on and not comfortable. Scan design at its best; beautiful, not functional. Had the checkout not been an additional soaking of my wallet, it would have been a 4.5. read more

I just came home from my daughters wedding in sun valley and it was perfect! Limelight did an amazing job catering to our needs and making it just as we hoped! Everyone thought the food was phenomenal and the set up was amazing with a fire pit with chairs right outside on the patio and the bar right between the dinner room and patio in a nice space all overlooking the mountains! I worked with BJ Sullivan and she was always so helpful and awesome with helping with decisions and ideas! We loved the venue and would highly recommend it for anyone! read more

Had an amazing long weekend at this great hotel. Everything is nice and new. The floor plan is wide open and airy. The rooms are larger than a normal hotel room and very well appointed. Our room came with breakfast included which was great. The best part is the staff. Sooo friendly and helpful! Everyone we encountered seemed happy to see us and eager to help with whatever we needed. Big shout out to Adrienne at the concierge desk who gave us rides to the ski hill, answered any questions we had, and made us feel welcome. I can't wait to come back and bring my dogs as the rooms are pet friendly. read more

I have not stayed here - only eaten in the lounge a couple of times. This evening, I was a bit disappointed. My margarita didn't taste like a margarita and was not enjoyable. It just tasted like tart lime juice with salt on the rim. It had no sweetness at all and I could not taste any other flavors, including tequila. The sticky pork spare ribs were also a disappointment. The sauce was good (and sticky, as promised), but the meat was actually somewhat dry - not like typical spare ribs. On the plus side, the truffle fries were delicious and worth the calories. The pizza (fennel sausage) was good, but the sausage was sparse and in small pieces. I will give them another chance next year, but no second chance on the margarita. I should have sent it back. read more

My husband and I are staying here for a wedding this weekend and I am beyond happy with this hotel. The customer service is above and beyond. Their driver Dave is so sweet and drove me and my husband to a local coffee shop and restaurant. The beds are comfy and so many amenities. Definitely the best hotel I've stayed at so far! read more

Next to the SV Lodge, this is where you can get a full center "resort" vibe, which makes it the epicenter of Hailey. They have a large spread out indoor/outdoor first floor lobby where you can feel your distance from other guests. They will have live music and great service for food and drinks. read more

Ordered two pizzas, which were good -- that is if you like to eat with dogs. Dogs are apparently allowed to roam around the eating- and bar areas. Pizzas came and the waitress walked away before we could ask for silverware and water. We ended up getting our own plates, silver ware and water from their service station. At one point, we saw most of the waitresses petting the dogs by the bar and one waitress actually had the dog licking out of the palm of her hand. We watched her then rub the dogs siliva from her hand onto her apron. Yes, that is a true story... Obviously, wait staff has little to no training. read more

Beautiful patio, great music, but the service is atrocious. We've gone here three different times when we were in Ketchum and every single time we've had terrible service on the patio. I had to find our server every time to order something and we got tired of it so ended up ordering from the bar. And on top of the bad service, we were over charged. We ordered everything during happy hour but were charged the regular, full prices. I was so over trying to find our server and get the attention of a manager or bartender, that we ended up just paying it and left. What a disaster as far as service goes for such a nice hotel. They need some better training or a new staff. The venue is pretty so we kept coming back, but there are too many other places in Ketchum. read more

I checked out this morning from the Limelight after several wonderful days at this hotel. The attention to detail was impeccable and the staff was efficient and friendly and really made me feel welcome. The hotel was very clean and sanitized and I felt completely safe during my stay. The transportation crew was great especially James who went out of his way to make sure I got where I needed to go as well as helped retrieve my lost belongings.This was my first visit to Ketchum and the Limelight hotel but will definitely not be my last. I strongly recommend this town and this hotel. read more
