As an Italian-American, it is my duty to review all Italian restaurants. If you think that my review holds more weight than the average customer, you would be correct. Believe me. I know what I'm talking about. Limoncello. You're doing it right. Loved the interior, ambiance and overall feel of this restaurant. Family style or romantic date - I'll come back. Food... superb. The Italians in the back know what's up. To start we had the best Arancini on this side of the ocean. My beautiful date enjoyed the Pappardelle Brasate and when she's in a good mood, so am I. I had the Gnocchi con Burrata. Perfect. My only wish is that there was more. My final tip for you is to order the lemon olive oil and throw some Parmesan in the oil. Go to Limoncello. Wear something nice. Bring a gorgeous date. You'll thank me later. read more

Went back to Limoncellos last night and thought I would provide an update to my prior review. Our server (Suzie) was excellent. We were seated in the Bar area because we wanted to hear the singer. The singer was terrific, and the sound level was perfect, you could hear her as well as have a conversation. We started with Insalata Limoncello and it was very good. I like that they toss the salad in the balsamic instead of just pouring over the top. There was just the right amount of dressing. For dinner we had the special, Branzino with mashed potatoes and spinach. The Branzino was cooked perfect and was very tasty, we really enjoyed it and would have again. The only negative with the food was that the mashed potatoes and spinach were not as warm as we would have liked. During the evening, we noticed the owner actively helping with the service (filling waters, etc.) and asking customer including us how the meal was and if they needed anything. Overall, we had a very good experience and will definitely come back. As a result of our experience, I am increasing my review score to 4 stars. read more

We stopped here on a whim with 2 other couples as the place we had in mind was packed. We were lucky enough to get a table and so glad we stopped. The atmosphere is very nice, with a large bar, and indoor and outdoor seating, although the outdoor is just on the sidewalk. The room feels warm and classy and there was live entertainment which we thoroughly enjoyed. There were a few daily specials posted on a board when you walked in the door. The menu is extensive, which means something for everyone. There was a basket of rolls on the table for us to enjoy. Our server was quick to bring our drinks and take our food order. The wine pour was ample. My husband and I split a meatball appetizer, which consisted of 3 meatballs and 2 small pieces of bread. The meatballs were a bit dense, but had a good flavor and the sauce was good. The appetizer arrived quickly and it was hot. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese for my entree. Again, it arrived hot and quickly. It was a large portion and presentation was great. I totally enjoyed my meal. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals, and we all got something different. We had a party of 6 for dinner with a reservation. We were seated promptly and service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and entrees except for me. I ordered the Tagliolini Carbonara and asked if it was made from scratch. Carbonara is not found on many menus and when I see it I usually order it. It is very simple to make and very tasty; egg yolks, lots of cheese, pepper, quanciale and pasta water. The reason why I ask if it's made from scratch is because some restaurants fake it and boil up some pasta and add a premade sauce to it. I believe this is what was given to me. The sauce was brown and looked identical to the sauce that was on the ravioli di vitello my friend had. So, there were no complaints overall but I would be skeptical about ordering the Carbonara. If you do, and the sauce looks yellow as egg yolks, the owner read this review and corrected the recipe. read more

LOVE this place. Finally getting around to posting this. The food and service were outstanding that it deserved a review. We we're a party of 24, spread out between 2 tables. Parents at one table and our young adult children at another table. We asked if they could split the checks per family and they were very accommodating. Easy for everyone all around. The staff was attentive and answered all of our questions. Our water glasses were filled constantly, the green butter was so tasty on our bread (I still don't know exactly what that was), the Who's Alfredo (espresso martini) was sooooo good, and the food was beyond delicious. I won't go into details about each of our meals, but will say that we were vacationing in Naples for the week and came back to Limoncello twice that week. The owner and staff made us feel like family. I wish we could have taken them home with us. They we all so lovely. Another great birthday party Had at Limoncello A sing along and violin played happy birthday I had chicken Parmesan it was excellent they could have added more pasta to plate pasta super cheap especially for a$30. Patty was such a joy behind the bar. As a single woman, she made me feel so welcome and even introduced me to other patrons who i had a fabulous time with. She knew everyone's name and drink order, it was like Cheers! We all had a blast and laughed all night! She even introduced me to the other bartender Jessica who was a server that night. They are quite the team! The food was amazing and very flavorful. I tried the arancini, papadelle brasate and tiramisu. The entertainment was moderate in sound and not over bearing. The outdoor seating area was very welcoming with string lights, the inside is a little dark and old looking. Our waiter Larry seemed bothered about us switching seats because we split the check but otherwise attentive and nice. The complementary bread and butter was phenomenal, the chicken Milanese as well and large portion. Pistachio cake was okay, the gelato that came with it was very icy and possibly freezer burnt. My family and I are in town visiting. My FIL mentioned that limoncello is their favorite place to eat and I can easily see why. We went on a Sunday evening and the place was packed, always a good sign. The owner greeted us at the door and took time to catch up with them (they're regulars) which made the experience even better. The food was great, even my very picky eater 2yr old loved the food. What really set things apart was watching how the owner would go from table to table to chat with guests, deliver food, refill drinks, take orders, etc. in my experience, it's rare for an owner to do the little things like refill a beer or clear a table. He even brought ice cream out for our son to keep him occupied so we could eat. He's raised the bar on customer service and the food was damn good too. read more

The service was great very on point quick and courteous. The Ambiance they had and she was dressed beautifully. It was loud and noisy hard to hear her play. She did come around to play for a happy birthday. I also had a birthday that day, but she left before I could get my dessert so they just handed me the dessert. We had soup that was fantastic. Airfield was very thin crispy and dry had better. The tiramisu was excellent. The owner or manager came over to ask how everything was but we didn't get our meal yet so couldn't say about the veal. I did not expect to find a restaurant this good in a small strip mall on Tamiami Trail! The space is surprisingly large but it does get loud. The live music was not really necessary as you could barely hear it anyway with all the crowd noise. I ordered the branzino special with sautéed spinach and creamy polenta. The fish was cooked perfectly. The polenta was cheesy and creamy. I was full after the main plate. My wife said her gnocchi was light and fluffy, probably the best she ever had. Service was in point, food was delivered timely but we never felt rushed. We will be back soon. read more

The ambiance at Lemoncello is lovely, but that's the best of it. I paid about $30 (plus tip) for a serving of tagliolini that reminded me of a bowl of oatmeal served without raisins and walnuts. It had zero charm. No spices, no nuttin'. The taste was okay, but not particularly memorable. I chose it because I love homemade pasta but this was completely meh for my taste. I'm being nice compared to how my wife felt about her dish. The place was packed; so, I'll give our server a bit of slack, which, again, is more than my wife, who's traveled a lot more than I, does. But he wasn't great. I ordered a Negroni, and found it to be awfully strong. When I made this comment to the server he pulled out the menu and told me, in no uncertain terms, that I was wrong about the ingredients I thought ought to be in it. Maybe he thought he was working at a French restaurant in Paris rather than a nice enough Italian restaurant looking out at a large parking lot in Florida. read more

Very rarely do you find a restaurant where everything is better than expected . There is not one dish that I didn't like , not one dessert that I didn't like . The staff are efficient , friendly and on point . The owner is just fabulous , you will see him bussing tables, serving, bartending and what ever else needs done . We had the most delightful time at Limoncello last night. Overall, our dining experience was nothing short of amazing start to finish.  From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly and are in for a treat. The food was delicious; most notably the melt in your mouth branzino special and the tiramusu which is made in house and was light and heavenly. I can't stop thinking about it this morning! What stands out even more than the incredible food is the way you are made to feel.  To say service is OUTSTANDING would be an understatement. We visited Limoncello Naples for the first time this evening and it was excellent! The bread and aioli...so good. I had the Pappardelle Brasate (braised short rib with homemade Pappardelle) and ate every bite. My fiancé had the Spaghetti Bolognese and he loved it. I finished with the best Tiramisu I have ever had. The violinist playing, and beautiful atmosphere was very inviting. The service was top notch. Highly recommend! read more
