It's been a while since receiving my wedding dress back. I am truly disheartened that my dress is ruined as I had planned to rewear the dress for our bigger ceremony with our extended family. I purchased my satin dress from Grace Loves Lace. There was very minimal staining on the top half of my dress and the train needed a good clean as I did not have a bustle and we were in Vegas. We had a small quick ceremony at a chapel on Fremont St. and Dinner after. I will say that 95% of the time that I wore the dress, my train was in my arms. My biggest regret was worrying so much about dirtying my train that most of my portraits that day have me holding my train...not the best for majority of the photos. I called to a few places to confirm they could dry clean wedding dresses and this place was the most affordable. I dropped it off and pointed out the 1 to maybe 2 faint marks on the top chest area and presented dirty train. My husband had to pick up my dress since I was out of town for the week when it was ready and I did not think to check it until it was time to store the dress some time after. I opened the zippered bag and was so shocked and couldn't believe it. My dress was ruined. There were marks on the top half and when you continued to the train it has a beige or cream tint. I never reached out to them because it had been like a month or two after and figured it was too late and the lesson was not to go cheaper. I have attached a video of the work...you can't really see the cream color on the bottom. The dirt from the train was removed about 98% so I guess that's the positive. read more

This place is amazing. I've used them (though other owners when I first started) for over a decade and have never been disappointed. From dry cleaning to alterations. And when I need something the following day, they have always made it happen! A couple of weeks ago I needed to get my suit pants altered and since I just bought the suit I needed it cleaned. I also brought in a washed shirt just to be pressed. I have extremely sensitive skin; hence, just the pressing. Kenny told me that they have organic cleaning for sensitive skin and there are no chemicals used. So I gave it a try. I had to wear the shirt and suit for an hour at the wedding in a very warm to hot church. Then the reception was by the water so it was a bit humid. For five hours at the reception I had no issue with irritation or rashes (which is common for me). I would definitely recommend anyone with sensitive skin to try this process they provide. Very soft spoken people. However, I took my light pink Sari top in to have stains removed. The lady mentioned the fabric is thin and it might damage at the areas. I said I understood. I returned to pick up the top and noticed it was no longer light pink, but brown. I didn't want this to happen to them again. So, I explained my top used to be pink and whatever product they used to clean the stains, changed the color of the entire garment, and If someone else comes in with a similar fabric, it is probably best to not use the same product. Kenny's response: "It wasn't pink." He said this on repeat. I softly said, it was pink and that is why the top is lined with pink. I showed the back of the garment to show the pink lining in a different fabric. He changed his response to "it must be a weak dye." And I received blank stairs from the lady and Kenny. I repeated that I wanted them to know as a reference for future costumers. I was not thanked, and I was most certainly not apologized to that it happened. It was not acknowledged that something was amiss or that the situation is unfortunate. Mind you, I never grew angry or cried or said anything of a negative nature. Essentially, what I learned from this location is if you ask for stain removal, you need to be clear to not alter the color of the garment. By the way, the stains are still there. If I could say one more thing to the shop owners is it that people should be met with empathy. And taking responsibility for ones actions is vital. While I am sad my favorite sari top cannot be used with the saris I have, it was more disheartening to have business owners not even try to rectify the situation, but instead lie about the original color until the truth was overwhelming obvious. read more

This used to be one of my favorite cleaners.. but recently they hired security to watch their parking lot? I live on this street so I pulled up to the cleaners to make a quick stop in for my dry cleaning and then across the street to pick up fresh flowers ... before I could even get out of my truck I had a large man come from across the street aggressively walking towards me yelling at me I need to leave as I can't park here (which I could). To be honest it was super scary, I am small and a young mother. I was shaking and ran inside to tell the owner and he seemed weirdly ok with it. Belmont used to be so sweet and safe.. I think some of its simple charms are gone along with this place. I don't recommend coming here anymore because of how scary and unwelcoming the surrounding area is and how you are treated. My heart was racing. I recommend changing your security company, or instruct them how to protect your clients.. not run them away. People enjoy a peaceful neighborhood, getting a security that chooses violence isn't good for the neighborhood. It's just a dry cleaning business not a bank. Sad to have had this happen. I don't leave reviews but as a mom I felt super unsafe and needed to share my experience. read more
