I ordered the salmon pasta and got food poisoning :( I woke up in the middle of the night and it was like the fish was haunting my dreams... bubbling stomach followed by multiple times of vomit. Very cute place but I should have known better than to order something less popular and risk the quality. Otherwise the service was good. read more

Had a wonderful experience here. The food was as expected = fantastic. The service was friendly, very good, and attentive. The drinks were just right and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. It was nice as we were not rushed through our dinner and we were able to enjoy each others company. The only compliant was that the alfredo was a bit bland. So glad we made the trip and if in the area we will consider another visit. read more

Don't order online. I placed an order online for curbside pick up. They forgot. How does a restaurant forget to make an order?!? No excuse was given. Never got to speak to the manager. They left me standing there until the order was ready 25 minutes AFTER the 30 minute wait time. The manager didn't bother to come out and speak to me, was not offered a discount or anything. We could tell the food was rushed, and the portion size was nothing comparable to what's offered for dine in. Extremely disappointed. Terrible manager, to not bother offering an explanation. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

Tapa Tuesday! Great pastas and fish. No bread with the mussels? Bar staff is funny and fast and will top up your mug on cue! I had 5 tapas and loved each one. I'll have to head back to try some new ones. Maybe my new Tuesday spot? 3 delicious tapas for $12 or so. That's cheap! read more

We were in search of a nice restaurant for a birthday celebration between Buffalo and Toronto. Well we found this gem! We happened to be there on their Wed. pasta bar night. Spectacular! Made to order pasta. Pick your ingredients, sauce and noodle..... the cold bar was just as good with the salads options, pizza options and a hot buffet with many options. They even had a small bruschetta station. You could still order off of the menu but why when the cost was relatively the same either way. Now we know why we couldn't get our original reservation time we wanted. read more

Awesome, awesome pasta. I've taken so many friends here (I was introduced to Lina Linguini's by my roommate). I have tried 5 or six different pasta dishes here and I loved every single one of them. I especially like the spicy sausage one and the cheesy gnocchi. On Wednesday's I believe, they have an all you can eat buffet for pretty cheap. The pasta is really reasonably priced (especially for St Catharines). The inside is nice, and a good atmosphere for a date haha. It is owned by the same people that own Fresco's across the road although I do like this one MUCH better (both price and taste-wise). My ex-boyfriend got sick here twice, but my family, friends and myself never got sick... and I tried his meal. I just had to with friends and family when I needed my pasta fix. read more

Thank you for making my birthday ( October 19 ) extra special by once again exceeding our expectations. We have been going to your restaurant for 18 years and we've never had a bad experience. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We took my sister and husband (from the Ottawa Valley to help us celebrate and once again we were all so impressed with the quality and the large portions. It's now my sister's favourite place to eat at when she visits us. This is definitely our favourite place to go to for all of our celebrations. The tiramisu is a little slice of heaven. We had dinner there on Saturday night and we were disappointed again but for different reasons. The previous visit was several months ago and our main complaint was that the entire experience was rushed, barely having time to finish any course before the next arrived. Saturday's visit was different. Everything took extreme amounts of time. I suspect the waitress (a bit flippant) forgot to place our order as she seemed to spend most of her time socializing with her fellow servers. She was certainly aware of the time issue, offering us a free dessert after we had already paid the bill and were getting up to leave. Sometimes, when the food is exceptional or the restaurant is very busy, you overlook slow service. Fact is the food is adequate at best and the restaurant was not overly busy. It will be a long time before we go back. read more

Had to wait for table about half hour busy on a Saturday night. Doesn't take reservations for less then 6 people. But has a nice lounge area to wait. Took four people out for my birthday celebration this weekend and we were all impressed with the food and our great server. We shared the baked artichoke dip to start and we were impressed with the amount given. Loved the fresh salads and our yummy main pasta dishes. We all appreciated the freshly grated cheese provided by our nice server. My free tiramisu was a bit hit with the sparkler. Two others enjoyed the Skor cheesecake, it was beautiful and decadent. My hubs and I went to Lina's a few days ago. The place is beautiful. Just stunning inside. We waited a bit longer than we should've to be greeted by someone at the door. Roughly 15 minutes which I feel is a bit much. We ordered the calamari diavolo - it was good but I kind of expected more. One flavour throughout, lacked dimension. BUT the main dishes and salad were outstanding. I had the spicy blue burger which was amazing. And my husband had some pasta dish which was also amazing. My only other critic would be that the bread is like store bought bread, not heated, butter in little plastic containers. Just leaves something to be desired. Service was amazing which we were seated. I will go back but with all the cautions in mind. read more

This used to be my all time favorite restaurant. However, my favourite items on the menu have ben removed (Fusilli Florentine Rosa and Linguini Arrabiata with roasted red peppers). I had dinner here on May 3, 2013, around 9:00PM. It was the Pan Seared Scallop Pasta, orange juice, and water. The place was jammed pack full of people, but I was seated right away. I was seated at a dimly light table and could barely read the menu. It was very loud with all of the people yapping--I don't understand how they heard each other talk. The dish came with a salad and french-style bread. The salad came in a huge bowl that I had to transfer to a small salad plate. It was enough for two servings and the dressing was tasty. I only received three small pieces of bread and one of them had a big air hole in it, so I really only had two real pieces. The bread was probably a morning leftover, since it did not taste fresh. The main dish was good enough, but it did not really have a flavor that I could pin down. I think it came with 4-5 medium sized scallops. I am not a big linguini eater, but I like scallops, so I might be a little biased against the dish. I would come here again based on my experience, but I'll try something more traditional like veal or chicken parm. read more
