Where do I start. In the quest for back pain treatment, as I have a super tight back and shoulders, I found Lina. I read all the reviews and decided to make my first appointment. I had a very bad lower back pain radiating to hip and groin. I was suffering for about 1 month and I had tried massages but none provided relief but being sure it was muscular (Dr diagnosed), I decided try massage one last time. It was the best decision ever. I know my body is super tight and all therapist encountered have said it. I was not sure if anything positive would come out of this. I then showed up to first appointment. Lina is such an amazing lady. She is professional and friendly. She is super strong and really knows where the problems are. She really finds the pain and works on it. She found my hip/groin pain fast. She worked on my psoas muscle and oh boy did it hurt. But knowing massage for years, I knew relief was coming too. My psoas pain is now so much better. I found Lina thru Yelp. I was glad she was able to take my appointment. Thru this Covid lock down, I have been working remotely and I sit 8-10 hrs a day in front of my computer. I rarely get up except to grab a quick bite to eat. Exercise has been non-existent or reduced to some leg lifts on my office chair with 8lb ankle weights. My posture has been bad and my lower back started to hurt as well as the hip flexor area. I sent a message to Lina via Yelp and she responded quickly. She was able to take me in right away. The medical office was conveniently located by the freeway and it was very easy to find. She had everything already ready and in place for my massage therapy. She did an overall body massage therapy. I did inform her before the start that I bruise easily. She was mindful of the pressure points and she guided me thru the painful areas of my back, legs and hip area. Needless to say, I was pretty tight. She found so many knots and she was gentle enough that she was able to get the knots out and kept me comfortable at the same time. I am so thankful that I booked with Lina. She is knowledgeable and she even showed me different types of stretches that will help my lower back and hip flexor. Simply put, she loves what she does, she is passionate about it and she helps restore your muscles back to health. I didn't write a review right away until a few days after my visit because I wanted to make sure that I still felt good a few days after. I was a little sore in the target areas but it feels good that I have my full range of movement of my hip flexor area without cringing. My shoulder and back feels good as well. I have had many massages in the past but nothing compares to Lina's. I suffer from long-term prescription drug use that has caused head pressure and pain for years. I feel there's a blockage wether it is energy or toxins that got stuck at the top of my head, creating inflammation. The only time I feel my head pressure moving and congestion opening is doing yoga and juice fasting. Now I found Lina's massage can also help open up the congestion to allow the lymphatic waste to drain from my head but with relaxation and pleasure. She uses reiki energy to scan the body where the blockages are then puts pressure on those areas. You will feel hurt but afterwards my head lightens up. I've never had a better massage than with Lina. I've tried many massage therapists in my time to help with my chronic pain from chronic lyme and I feel like I spent the whole time during those massages waiting and hoping they hit the right spots. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with Lina. I've had many massages, but never have I left a treatment feeling the way I do today. I found Lina on Yelp and read through all of her wonderful reviews. Once I saw that someone wrote, she isn't just a masseuse, but a HEALER, I scheduled an appointment with her for a 1 hour massage. She was very quick to respond and booked my appointment only two days later..already off to a great start! When I arrived, Lina asked me if I wanted to do reiki and a massage. I told her just a massage, as I have never had reiki done before and wanted to mainly focus on the problem areas on my neck and shoulder. Lina quickly found my problems areas and incorporated different techniques into my massage including energy healing, reflexology and hot stones. There were moments where I felt a lot of pain, but Lina was quick to respond by lessening her pressure and encouraging me breathe in and out deeply. Overall, it was an amazing experience and massage. I wish I could rate something higher than 6 stars. That's how much Lina helped me. I had a pretty bad back strain from a poorly executed dead lift. Lina isn't a masseuse she's a HEALER! She's so intuitive and has such a vast understanding of the body. She used a vast combination of techniques to take out the knots and built up toxins. She's truly a professional medical massage therapist ! She's very personable and communicates well. Being very honest there were times that were painful but that's just because I deal with a lot of muscle tightness . But she communicated with me throughout and made sure that she wasn't doing too much for my comfort. There were knots in my legs and my arms that all other therapists had ignored, but she targeted these areas and educated me on muscle scarring and what she was doing and why . She knew things about me by just seeing where the knots were ! Like what position I sleep in, how I stand, the fact that my house has stairs lol it's pretty amazing . This is an extremely knowledgeable woman ! After my massage I can't really explain it but not only was I relaxed but my MOOD was lifted. I can't say enough great things about Lina. She was responsive when I called, she was able to get me in quickly. She was very professional and has great bedside manner. I initially came to her because my TMJ dysfunction had flared up and thought a massage would help loosen it up. Lina has a gift! I was in horrible pain from a 9mm bulging disc shooting pain down my right leg and could hardly walk. Lina knows how to find the area needed and she helps you work through the pain. I called Lina to book an appointment and she seemed pretty busy and w her a child in the back, that is totally ok with me not a problem, she could have said ahed call me back later. She was not ride but was not welcoming either. Well I explained what I needed and she told me exactly what kind of massage would be appropriate for me, but she said that she was leaving to Colombia and would be back jan. 3rd, so I made my appointment anyways for today, jan 8th. She said she would text me appointment confirmation. Never heard from Lina. I must have not been an important appointment. I was happy to have found a different massage place where my needs were met. If someone isnt able to really take a call for any reason, i think its appropriate to make sure that when you answer the phone, you ate professional at all times.
