When our garage door was opening it was incredibly loud. We had a much older system. Our garage door opener is also connected to our security system, and I wasn't sure how that was going to be able to be adjusted. The employee that came was able to just look at the situation, and tell me no problem. I didn't have to stress out that it wasn't going to be connected correctly and that was so relieving. The first time Buddi worked on our garage door was in Nov. 2019. It was to replace the broken springs. Those big old time springs that few people sell and probably even fewer people are available to replace them. He adjusted and lubed everything, and it worked great until something else gave out this week. The motor sounded horrible. We thought it was going to seize up or something. So we called Lincoln Electric Door. This time he replaced the broken cover with a good used one. He also lubed the door and motor and tested it. I'm not sure what a broken cover is but the garage door sounds great now. I don't believe our opener has ever sounded this great. My husband had me listening to how nice and smooth it sounds when opened and closed. We felt the whole thing was very reasonably priced. This company rocks! Last night one of my springs broke and I couldn't get my vehicle out this morning, when I found out what had happened. OK, I'm rescinding my review of 12/16/2013. Bryan, the owner of Lincoln, and I talked and worked things out to our mutual satisfaction. Bryan came out in person saw the problem and made it right. The remaining excess grease was removed from the track and since the outside of the garage door was not able to be cleaned completely, Bryan made arrangements to have it repainted. These guys are great. In and out quickly to replace my broken garage door spring. I had Ideal out just 3 hours earlier and they tried to upsell me over $1200 on things I didn't need, and quoted over $700 for just a spring job. Lincoln did it for $238 and suggested everything else looked fine after I pointed out what Ideal wanted to replace. So don't fall for the radio ads on the big guys. I will never use this company again and do not recommend them. We bought a genie garage door opener at home depot who connected us with Lincoln for installation. The garage door opener stopped working last week. Nate told me it was still under warranty and that we needed to call Genie for a replacement part. He specifically said to call back when the part arrived and that they would replace it for free. I called today but he changed his story and said it will cost $75 to send someone out. read more

We have used this company for all our garage door needs since moving to Tempe in 1998. They have replaced springs and installed a new opener in the past, but recently after someone crashed through one of our doors I had the 32-year track-home doors replaced with a much better quality set. Lincoln was very accommodating to our scheduling needs allowing us time to move items in the garage to prep for each install. After the damaged door was replaced, we discovered that the door opener was evidently damaged from the collision as well. We selected a new LED lite opener installed and after a couple of days, were so delighted with the quieter/smoother function of the new opener, that I had them come out with another just like it for the 2nd door. I have to agree with the others- excellent company. I used them before to do a garage door maintenance I bought through AAA. The worker at that time told me whomever installed my new door a few years ago put the wrong spring on and it would eventually be a problem. Having already paid for the visit I said I would wait and see what happened. Guess what, he was right, spring snapped and garage door becomes a wall. Decided to try them for repair since the other company I used apparently did not install it correctly. I'm glad I did. My wife called Friday morning, by the time I got home in the evening it was a functioning garage door again. They even repaired/reinforced the track I screwed up forcing the door up to get my car out. They accepted payment over the phone since we couldn't get home in time. I made a service call for my boss's place with Lincoln last week. It was scheduled for today. There was a bit of a fiasco because my phone number had been written down one number off. When the tech, Chris, finally got in touch with me, he worked with me on a time that would work for my 30 minute commute. He was there when I expected him, efficient as he could be and double-checked his work before he left with the payment. This place will help you find the remote you need and tell you in 4 steps how to make it work with your opener. They came out to see the job (door) and do an estimate. I believe his name was Brian. He said he would order the necessary parts and call me for a time to install. One week later no call. I called them and asked for Brian and had to explain why i was calling and what the job was. They had no record of Brian's being at my place. I have been using this family owned business (3 generations worth) for over 19 years. Over this time period they have serviced my door, (Steve) installed new remotes and have been very helpful and prompt in their service. This week it was time for a new door (the original being installed in 1965). Their sales associate (Shane) came out to discuss options and left numerous brochures about different products including the motors that operate the doors. I made a selection, scheduled the installation date and it all went like clockwork. I LOVE my new garage door, so quiet, so attractive and Buddy (generation 3) spent time explaining all the functions that come with the system including internet apps. Of course they don't mention that this person wouldn't make it until way after business hours when the fees are huge. I work for an auto repair shop and Lincoln Garage Doors has serviced our bay doors when ever we have needed it. Their technicians always seem very professional and would never waste any time getting the service completed. Recently, at my house, as I would put the garage door down, one of the safeties would trigger and the door would go back up. I gave Lincoln a call and the very next day their technician came out. After doing a couple tests he determined that the springs were worn. With the technician having the correct springs in his truck, he was able to replace them in no time. The cost was lower than expected too. Great service!!! Great Price!!! read more

We requested service from Lincoln because it was this company that had installed the garage door opener for the former owner of our home. The garage door was going down, but not up when we used our remote. Technician came out February 20 and "fixed" the problem. We paid the $75.00 service fee. Two days later, the same problem occurred so we called and we told that we would be charged another $75.00. We felt that it was unacceptable inasmuch as the problem obviously hadn't been rectified. So, I wouldn't recommend this company because they should have honored the fact that we had paid for something that still wasn't working. Three stars because he came on time. read more

First one to review? Ok then. my garge door broke, after surfing the web a few minutes I was able to determine(with some certainty) it was the trolley. I pass this place all the time but didn't know if they sell parts or just install new units. Went in the guy saw what I had in my hand from 10 feet away. Told me to throw it away and pulled a new one off the shelf. He showed me what had broke, gave me a 30 min install instruction, rang me up, and threw in a free pull and lube (not what you are thinking sicko, for the trolley). 5 mins later my garage door is working better than before. I like local businesses, but better yet businesses that know their shit. Online the guy paid $80 for the part and $120 for labor, I did mine for just a hair over $30. read more

I had my Genie garage door opener installed by Lincoln Electric Door co. in 2017. Buddy was the installer. He did a great job and there were no issues. The price was very reasonable and they had come recommended. A week ago the rubber chain snapped and I was not happy. I found that this part was warranted by the Genie co. as long as I could prove I bought it new and then had to prove how it was installed. I could not find my receipt so I called Lincoln office. Stephanie sent me the paid invoice within minutes of my call. All that was left was to get the part and then have it installed. I got the part from Genie in 6 days. I scheduled the install with Lincoln for2 days later. I needed a early appt. and sure enough I was the first appt. of the day. Happy to see Buddy again as I knew he would do a great job. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He installed a garage door lever as I didn't have one. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I have future garage door issues. Oh my God !! This place is the best !!! I called the other day because my Dad had a problem with his electric door opener. The guy could not be any more nicer or helpful on the phone. He explained everything about the opener, what to check, what to look for, etc. Told me what he thought the problem might be from his experience,( all over the phone ), most places don't do this they just want to send a guy out for a service call. Lincoln Electric offered to test the electric board for FREE !! if I brought it in. So I did the next day I showed up & met the guy I talked to on the phone. His name is Bryan Bruner, The nicest guy ever !!! He took his time, tested my board, explained what he was doing and what should happen. Turns out my board was good, so Bryan tells me that its probably my wall switch or the wiring going from the opener to the wall switch, he says that he is almost 100 percent sure that there is a short in the wiring or in the switch. He then explains and shows me how to check at home, then he goes and gets a whole spool of wire and gives it to me, again for FREE !! He even offers me something to drink !! Bryan also tells me don't be afraid to ask for used parts instead of new to save on the cost. This place is a family run business, A GREAT ONE at that from what I've seen. If you have garage door opener problems give Bryan a call. I'll be telling everyone I know about this place. As for my Dads problem I haven't gone over to his place yet to try what Bryan told me to do. ( probably go tonight ) I'll let you know Bryan if that fixed the problem. I've had Lincoln door here before many times. Always great service always respectful people until today. Service technician that came out today did not explain things to me and was put out with me because I kept asking questions and he didn't like it. Rude and condescending is not a service I need to pay for. Also didn't realize it was a $75 fee no matter what you do so I paid $75 plus the 50 to have him repair it. He wanted to charge a $75 service fee and do nothing. Next time I may have to check into somebody else. Competition is out there and you have to have an edge and with his poor customer service skills,t hese guys no longer have an edge. read more

These folks are the best! I have had to add a garage door opener and was thinking about having new garage doors installed as the ones I had were just the thin metal doors and wanted something more substantial and energy efficient. Rather than the cost of installing new doors, they recommended insulator kits. They installed them the next day and what a diffeerence they made. The garage door opener works great and they even programmed all my remotes to work on all the doors. Also took the time to show me how to do it if I needed to in the future. read more

I contacted Lincoln Electric Garage door to get a price for a new logic board for my Liftmaster garage opener. I was considering doing the repair myself and just purchasing the part. Brian quoted me about $50 for a used board and $100 for a new logic board part. This part is readily available online for $62 new, but I understand they need to make a markup on it. I then asked him how much if they came out to install it, he said $130. I told him thanks let me call you back. I called back the next day and said I'd like schedule them for the install. He got me scheduled quickly and as we were finishing up I confirmed...the fee is $130, right? He said yes, $130. The technician came and switched out the board quickly in 20-25 minutes. He presented a bill for $205 which included a $75 service fee. Unfortunately, I was gone and my wife wrote him the check. I called the office the next day and spoke to Brian again to ask why he didn't make me aware of the full price of the install. He said that price was only for the part, there is always a service fee. I told him that wasn't ever clear even though both times I posed the question, "how much will it cost for you to come out and install this?" The answer was always $130, not $130 plus our service fee of $75 which is very different. He then told me to "use my brain." That I should've known there was an additional service fee and I guess I should've known what it was. They can charge whatever they want, I have no issue there, but at best they did a terrible job of communicating the pricing...at worst it was a bait and switch. This was a simple, fast repair, they made good margin on the part and then more on the service call. Bottom line is if I had known it was over $200 I would've handled this myself, but I never got the chance to do that because of how they handled the transaction. read more
