I was hoping for beige highlights and got bright blonde. I asked for a refund and was only offered a "fix it at no cost". I declined. Intervention: Reached out to Vance who did my hair in the past. Don't ask me why I just didn't come back. Vance was able to see me pretty quick and did an AMAZING job!! He gave me beige highlights and darkened the base which I just love. I'm tanned skin so the blonde highlights was not flattering. Evaluation: I am forever grateful for Vance. He is very skilled at his craft. The result was exactly what I was hoping for from the very beginning when I stepped into the other salon. Note to self....i will never see any other stylist. I highly recommend Vance if you're looking for a highly skilled professional that will make you leave his chair feeling confident and amazing about your hair!!!

Located in a very prime location in downtown Millbrae, the salon is gorgeous inside! Very modern and clean. I got to my appointment early but was quickly attended to check in. Vee asked if I needed a hair wash which I told him that I already washed the night before. He said because my hair was very dry, he would give me a hair wash. It was so relaxing and he did an amazing job washing and conditioning my hair. Next up was blow-drying and he took a lot of time to not only dry it but used a barrel brush to style it and straighten it after. He was very meticulous! I showed him pictures of my hair inspiration and he said he could do the medium layer cut. I was so impressed with the outcome, it was a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back!

leo and min are amazing!!! they're experts. they got me color corrected to a super pastel pink…read morecolor. i honestly didn't think my hair goal of getting to really light pink would be possible w my hair that had like 4 different shades in it and years of doing my own hair at home with red dye i've been doing since i was 18 (im 22 now). i spent 7.5 hours with them and they did an incredible color correction on me and i can't believe how amazing my hair looks. it feels even healthier than it was when i came in which is so shocking because we had to bleach my hair twice to correct the color! i had red dye and they were able to make it so light and so platinum. they brought me snacks and they were so attentive. another salon i went to for a consultation said they'd have to cut 5" off my hair but leo only trimmed a little and kept a lot of my length. my hair feels sooo soft and healthy!! i'm amazed min was so gentle and sweet. i almost fell asleep when she was shampooing my hair. the salon is super clean! L2 has very fair prices especially for 7.5 hours of work and leo gave me tips to maintain the pastel pink. i couldn't be happier and i would absolutely recommend leo and min to anyone!! i will definitely will be a returning client!

I've done icy blonde highlights, to the newer bronde trend, and they always have high quality work that grows out great. The salon is spacious, clean, well ventilated and comfortable. Clean bathroom, always offer drinks and snacks. Marjorie has done the majority of my coloring jobs and if you're unsure about color choice, is definitely trustworthy to advise on a choice. She is hilarious too! Thiri is great especially with extreme colors / while it's not a look for me, I see girls leaving her chair looking more vibrant than a my little pony. Karen does great haircuts as well. Prices for all their services are reasonable - I just wish they were closer to my home! One of favorite go-tos on the peninsula- please never change lol.
