Navigating this new world we have found ourselves in has been intimidating and filled with emotions and lots of concern. The support of the office staff regarding all my questions has been such a big help. We also recently had our first appointment with Christopher Kagay. He has a lot of great reviews (which is why we chose him and the Mayes office) and he lived up to every single one of those reviews and then some. He was thorough, kind, patient, and had a very calming demeanor. He clearly cares about his patients and has a very positive and reassuring outlook. He also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience; presented in laymen's terms that makes it easy to understand. He took his time to go through the history of our daughter, asking me questions, her questions, etc. Again this being our first time navigating our way through this journey; just knowing that this doctor and this staff are with us every step of the way has been a life saving anchor in what feels like very stormy seas. I simply cannot sing the praises of this group loud enough. Forever grateful and I highly recommend them. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I was a patient of Doug brooks for about a year or a little more and he's the worst provider I've…read moreever had to deal with and I've been a licensed medical professional for almost 15 years. Doug's knowledge of medicine is poor and he over prescribed me on medication that didn't even help the problem I initially came in with. He pushed me on a medication I wasn't familiar with and everytime I would check in with him and tell him my condition wasn't getting better he would just increase the dose until I was at the absolute max dose within about a month of just starting it. The most he would ever ask me at an appointment is ' How's work going? ' or some other kind of small talk, but he didn't know how to figure out solutions to the problems I came in with. The dose was so high I had to take 2 different capsules of the same medication ( which also hurt my wallet )because they didn't manufacture one pill in such a high dose. He was even willing to increase it more and disregard medical suggestions but I told him no and stood my ground. After a year of being on this medication, getting 90 day supplies as directed by my insurance company, Doug all of a sudden shed his boss has directed him to instruct every single patient that they must make an appointment every single month, regardless of treatment, progress , or any other individualized criteria. As mental health patient we should always be treated with individualized care, not all lumped up as one big group to make the prescribers job easier. It was clear that this was to triple their revenue, so instead of making an appointment every 90 days it had to be every 30 days. Well it was so funny because my CIGNA insurance only covered a 90 day supply at a time when it came to mental health medication. As I mentioned, I've been a medical professional for about 15 years so I never heard any kind of office rule ( unless you're prescribed controlled substances monthly, which I was not ) that they all of a sudden decided to implement because of their greed. When I confronted Doug about his unethical practice, I made sure to emphasize that not even my insurance covers 30 days at a time so how would he expect to get paid triple the amount like he's asking? I even randomly called the front desk to ask them about any sort of new policy and they confidently said they had no idea what I was talking about and neither Doug, nor anyone else has ever mentioned any short of policy. And I want to be clear that he specifically told me this had nothing to do with my individualized care, and this policy was being implemented to every single patient that Office is serving. Once Doug realized he was exposed, he raised his voice and got extremely vulgar and violent threatening me with physical harm, as well as cutting off the medication he got me addicted to (which I never wanted to take in the first place) he had the opportunity to get violent and raise his voice since he had the luxury of working from home and the appointment was over telephone that time. I immediately filed a complaint with the Nevada medical board against his license. As I started doing more research on this man, I could see many terrible reviews, specifically mentioning his temper and loss of control when mad. There's even a few here on Yelp. If you scroll up a little bit, you can see for yourself. Please avoid this office at all costs, there are many other options with genuine providers that are not money, hungry crooks. His picture is below so that you can make sure you never have to deal with such an awful person when it comes to your mental health. Shame on his boss for keeping him employed. His boss has threatened me with legal action stating defamation of character, but by law, the truth is allowed to be shared with the public that is not defamation. I understand how Doug gets away with his behavior now, because his boss is just as bad and encourages such practices disregarding the patient's best interest. I hope this place gets shut down sooner than later for the sake of our communities mental health.

I initially started to speak with Taylor who I believe is the admin for the therapists. At first I thought this place was in order because she followed up with me and asked what I was looking for through the process. Guess what, nothing was in order and it's so disappointing when you're trying to get help and have to go through a bad experience with experts that help people. This is not the case where all they were looking for is the next person to take money from. One of the worse things Allison did was, when we were done with our session she didn't even walk us out to the front door and said your time is up when would you like to schedule another day and time? All I have to say is WOW! At that, this session was for my daughter when we arrived she said, oh this session will start with myself and my wife, so my daughter had to wait at the front. What a joke! I have text messages from Taylor to bring my daughter. Even the online links she sent were out of wack. I should of researched more especially when you only have 3 reviews. Later to find out Allison is only an intern for the company, go figure. I promise, everyone please be careful and do your research. The owner Rebecca is not even here in Vegas and only does virtual sessions. I feel it's more personal when your trying to see a therapist or psychiatrist in person. Don't do it. I had a…read morevery frustrating experience with this office, both with the front desk and with Dr. Nguyen. The office manager was, at times, extremely rude over the phone.There were multiple scheduling errors, including one instance where she called me in a very abrasive tone insisting I was supposed to be in-office when my appointment was actually scheduled as telehealth. When I calmly explained this, she told me I was wrong. She later called back after realizing her mistake, but did not offer any apology for the way she spoke to me. On other visits, I could overhear her speaking harshly to other patients on the phone, which was honestly uncomfortable and unprofessional. As for Dr. Nguyen, appointments felt very rushed and impersonal. Visits were often only a few minutes long, and I didn't feel there was much effort to understand my symptoms or adjust my treatment thoughtfully. I was frequently interrupted or talked over, which made it difficult to fully explain what I was experiencing. The communication between the office and the pharmacy was a constant issue. I was left to deal with the pharmacy myself over and over again. On top of that, Nguyen threatened me when it came to my medication. I was repeatedly told I might not be prescribed my medication if I didn't pick it up "on time," even when delays were caused by pharmacy issues or my work schedule. At times my treatment was actually changed because of this, which completely threw things off for me. My final experience was the last straw. He called me nearly 30 minutes early for a telehealth visit while I was getting ready for work. When I said I'd call back at the SCHEDULED time, he told me telehealth would no longer be an option for me and I'd have to come into the office. When I explained that I live 30 minutes away and these visits are extremely short (less then 5 minutes), his response was "that's okay girl nice scenic drive for you" I switched doctors that same day after that and the difference is night and day. My current provider actually listens, communicates with the pharmacy properly, and treats me like a patient. Would not recommend this office.

First I got an email from PDS Medical on 12/24/25 reminding me I have an appointment on January 7th, 2026. I confirmed the appointment. Then I get an email on 12/30/25 reminding me I have an appointment and letting me know that I can save time by using e check-in. Done. I checked in using the online portal. Finally. I got a text message the morning of my appointment on Jan 7th again reminding me I have an appointment. Confirmed! My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I took a lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I showed up at 1:15pm. Checked in at the front desk. The receptionist, a very nice lady named Esmeralda charged me my $70 copayment. She emailed me my receipt. Receipt received in my email at 1:17pm. I waited in the lobby patiently. I was then called in at my appointment time exactly at 1:30pm. The assistant took my blood pressure & weight, then escorted me to the waiting room at 1:35. I sat in the waiting room until 2:00pm! Christine V. never showed up! I heard her walk into a room of a patient that showed up after me at 1:58pm! There was no communication from the staff letting me know they were short staffed. Nor was there any communication for warning me that the wait would be longer than expected. I left as soon as my lunch break ended 2pm (and returned to work late). I did let the nice receptionist know that no one ever came in the room to see me. She could tell I was upset when I walked out. Do you think anyone called me to apologize? No! Not during the drive home, nor during the remainder of the afternoon or evening! The next day I got a message from the MyChart portal letting me know my prescription refill was denied.
