Super friendly place to get your nails done. The pricing is great at $35 for a basic mani and pedi (no gel - you can get them at an additional price though). It is a no frills place but you're in and out in less than an hour and nails look on point! Both ladies are very nice and easy to talk to and happy to be of service. I used to frequent Linda's Salon back when I lived in the area and they always did such an excellent job that I had to stop by during my visit to America's Finest City! I got a fill and a pedi and walked away feeling pampered and pretty. I love how quickly and efficiently yet delicately and accurately they do their work there! The massage part of the pedi lasts a good amount of time, which can't be said for a lot of nail salons these days. Another thing that can't be said of most nail salons out there is that they don't charge for every little thing. Sure, they do charge for many of their add-ons, but not for each and every one of them. This is literally the only nail salon that I've been to in the past two years that doesn't charge extra for callus removal. Bonus: they're super duper nice and they even recognized me even though o hadn't been there in years!! Her waxing and haircut services keep my boyfriend, mom and I coming back. Even though I used to live in the Mission Hills area I continue to commute over to her regardless of how far I live like East County. Both, Teresa and Jenny are so sweet, always smiling, and provide excellent service. I have witnessed, on multiple occasions, customers be rude for one reason or another: If the shop "appears slow" and you get turned away at the door that must indicate that there are appointments coming in, so do not take it personal. Also, this place can get very busy in the afternoon and no one likes to stay past closing time, so again do not take it personal. There was one person in a massage chair and one other person getting her nails done. That's it!! No apology, just "We're too busy right now, come back some other time." WTF. This is probably the worst nail salon I've been too. I always get my nails shaped coffin because I hate how square nails look on me. When I was getting them done the man never asked if I wanted a different shape. I was expecting him to ask if I wanted a different shape but nope he didn't. While the woman who did my mani/pedi was very nice and it was extremely affordable ($40 for a pedicure and gel manicure), I realized the next day it wasn't worth it. My big toe got infected from a shoddy ingrown toenail removal and my cuticles were all cut too far back. While the polish and gel looked very neat when I left the salon, my gel chipped within 5 days. Only three people work here, so if you can, make an appointment. If you can't, be patient with them. Jenny and Teresa are the sweetest. They take their time and the prices here can't be beat.
