This place has great customer service. I came in to get my turn signal bulb replaced, since I got the warning light on the car. Apparently, the connection was loose and the bulb was still good. The guys fixed it at no charge. Appreciate the help and I will for sure return here for my repairs moving forward. Hardest thing to find is an honest mechanic! read more

Stan is a super honest guy that runs this shops. It seems like a lot of the people that come here come for his service. He knew everyone's name and talked like they were friends. They may be working out of a gas station, but don't let that fool you. They are honest people. They're not the cheapest service all the time, but they will tell you what's wrong with your car and give you their honest opinion about it. I came in for an oil change a few months ago right before a road trip, and they noticed that one of my tires was completely worn down, all the way to the wire mesh! They are very thorough. They check to make sure if anything special needs to be done for your make/model of your car before they start, and give extra care and attention to each vehicle that rolls through. I was outta there in 45 minutes, and they apologized for the wait. It is right across the street from MARTA, so if you want to drop it off in the morning you can take the train to work. Or, you can check out any of the nearby restaurants while waiting for your car...even have a beer at Taco Mac across the street, or some chilly treats at Zesto. Their normal oil change is $29.95, but there's an online coupon you can print to get it for $19.95. Also, they don't take appointments; it's all walk-in only. read more

The nice clean / new interior is a major plus. The gas prices also tend to be some of the lowest in the area. However, do beware of the dozens of loitering people. Personally, I have nothing against day laborers, but I do like to avoid areas with major loitering issues. Try pumping your gas here without feeling like the only show on TV at 3am. read more

Popped in her for an emissions test on the day of my birthday... Mark and team were great! I knew I was going to fail as my check engine light was on and when I had taken my car to Lexus dealership they had told me xyz that my engine mounts needed to be replaced for $2000. I said okay.... be right back. Mark did a diagnostic check on my car and concluded that only one mount needed to be replaced which they did for a nominal price compared to Lexus!! Check engine light disappeared he told me to go drive the car for 20 miles and come back and VOLIA emission test passed! read more

I'm always nervous when I take my car to a new garage. But a free oil change, courtesy of the "welcome to the neighborhood" package you get for registering your new address with USPS, was enough to bring me in. I dropped it off for an oil change and emissions inspection, both overdue, and walked a block north to have lunch at US Cafe. I figured my bill would be around $30 for the emissions and assorted fees. Yep, they didn't overcharge me, and they didn't parade a bunch of filters past me in the show-and-tell game most tiny service stations love to play. They did harangue me with repeated warnings about some mysterious fluid in my brake lines that wasn't brake fluid. As is my policy, I didn't have the work done by the shop that spontaneously reported the problem. But if I die in a horrible accident because of brake failure, the Community Manager has my permission to change this to a five-star rating. read more

They also ran down my last list of dealer service items and told me how much I would have saved with them - it was an amazing difference! Update: Literally the day after my car's oil change and repair, its Check Engine light comes on. That hasn't happened in over a year, and it now suddenly comes on? Coincidence? I took the car back to them. They said it was an oxygen sensor but that they'd have to order the part. I went back to them on 2 other occasions soon thereafter, but for one reason or another, they were unable to fix the car. When they were finally able to fix the car, I was told that they'd have to charge me extra because the sensor was somehow lodged into a place that they couldn't reach. Then, when it came time for me to pay, they tried to charge me double the amount that they quoted me. When I questioned them, they were like, "Oops, we entered the part in our system twice." Then I had to give them my credit card information 5 times (no joke) before they could get my payment to go through. Contrary to my original review, I am now praying that my car doesn't break again before I move out of town. read more

I do not recommend this place. *NOTE: 2 5 star reviews from first time yelp users were posted the same afternoon that the manager read my review and emailed me.... I took my car in for an emissions test and oil change. While checking out, I had a conversation with the mechanic who happened to have the same type of car and he said it looked great and I'm lucky to not have any oil leaks for the cars age. I work from home and don't drive often so after a week, I happened to notice a puddle of oil on my driveway under the car. I popped the hood and saw that the oil cap had not been put on after the oil change and there was now oil all over the engine and a burn hole in the insulation on the underside of the hood where the cap should have been. I called right away to complain and they sent a tow truck. They called me back saying the engine had the proper amount of oil in it and there was no oil on the engine. I went up there to get the car and showed them a photo of the puddle and they called me a lier saying there was no way it came from my car. They had my car on the lift and showed me where they said it had natural leaks (but the previous week the mechanic said there were none!). When asked, he forgot he ever said anything. They lowered the car and showed me that there was not any oil on the engine which they obviously cleaned off. They also showed me the dip stick saying it was full (which they obviously filled) and told me I wasted their time and money having my car towed to them. I kept a piece of cardboard under the car for a week to make sure, and it continued to collect dripping oil. I've never had a problem with this car before I took it to them. read more

I moved to Buckhead about a year and a half ago. One of the things on my to-do list was to find a good, reputable mechanic for my older car. I think I've found it. I've had my car in here for everything from an oil change to new tires to a broken electronic sensor that took 3 days to diagnose and fix. They've always been good about communicating with me about their diagnosis and recommended solution. Their pricing seems to be pretty fair as well. They do a lot of work for rental car agencies in the area, so they don't always turn their work around as quickly as some other places, but in my mind, being trustworthy is more important than being quick. ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY! SCAM ARTISTS! Last week I took my car in for an oil change; within 10 minutes I was called and asked to pay $450 for "repairs." It took me asking 3 times to get an answer on the repairs. Adisema was the service writer and kept ignoring the question. When I showed up to discuss the repairs, he told me I needed to get my Coolant flushed ($150) and my Fuel Injection serviced ($149). I did not allow them to work on my car and took it to another mechanic who confirmed that neither item needed repair. In fact the other mechanic spotted a battery leaking acid and a drive belt needing replacement. In fact the only thing both mechanics agreed on was flushing/replacing transmission fluid, in which this mechanic quoted $199.99 and my other mechanic completed the job for $140. When I went back to Lindbergh Auto and showed Adisema the cracked drive belt he said it did not appear at the time (1 day prior) needing to be repaired. He also said they did not "check the battery so we would not have noticed it was leaking acid." Absolutely stay far away from these scam artists. read more

Great mechanics!!! They are very knowledgeable and honest. I used to only get my car serviced at the dealer, but I had to come here for a quick oil change on my way out of town and the staff was so friendly and professional that I continue to come back. Just today I came in because the dealer said I needed a service during my N.C. State inspection that was easily going to cost $500. When I told Harold, he told me that the car didn't have enough miles on it for that to make sense. They did a very thorough check of my car, and said everything was fine. As a woman, they could have easily taken advantage and made a quick buck but instead they showed how trustworthy they are. I wish I could give more stars! read more

They drove to the Moe's near by to help my friend out with his battery issues, replaced his batter and we were able to get it down in 2 hours! Perfect for an extended lunch break. While I was there I asked about my car and the brakes on it and they helped me out the next day. We chatted it up while they worked on my car. They were all really super nice people who know their stuff. And if they didn't, they consulted each other. Great team work and really great staff!! I really appreciated that Lindbergh Automotive pointed out which repairs were urgent and which ones were suggestions but not life or death. They were friendly and fast. I'm taking the time out to write this because I've had nothing but good experiences here, so far, and will return to revise my review should I find otherwise. Tom, the manager, has helped me twice and on both occasions could have charged much more but didn't. In the first instance I had an engine light come on on a very hot day. I drove in and he interrupted what he was doing to come and check on it when I explained I was in a rush. (I was a total "cold" wlak-in with no introduction other than that I needed help.) He looked things over and told me I was a quart short on oil, probably caused by the mechanic who had just changed my oil a few days earlier having shorted me a little. He topped me up on the spot and refused to even take a dime or a tip. Today I went in with an irksome and somewhat disturbing sound coming from the undercarriage. I explained that I was concerned about wheel bearing, brake or steering linkage related problems and left the car in his care. One and a half hours later, after having the car on a lift, removing the wheels and inspecting the car, wiggling the steering assembly and twice test driving the car I was advised that all was solid as a rock and that I have nothing to worry about. As my problem was/is an intermittent problem there was and is nothing more that can be done at the moment. He charged me $28.00 for his careful inspection, a careful and detailed explanation and then handed me my wheel lock back in order to assure me that it was still present and that it had not been removed and forgotten somewhere in his workshop--or worse yet stolen, something I wouldn't have noticed for weeks or months and wouldn't then no to whom to attribute. This gesture proved also to be an indirect way of reassuring me that he had actually taken the time to put the car on a lift and remove the wheels. So much for A.M.D. who claims to have been charged $94.00 for just putting the car on a lift. Possibly, but I somehow suspect we might be missing part of the story. I hope so. I'd like to believe that my instincts about people are better than that, and also that indeed we do have a trustworthy and knowledgable mechanic here in Buckhead!. Thank you Tom. The guys at Lindbergh Automotive definitely get the gold seal of approval when it comes to customer service. I was instantly at ease upon speaking with Daniel in regards to my 2001 Honda Civic. It had over heated over a few days and the first shop I took it to did a diagnostic and found that I needed MANY expensive items repaired, some of which they no longer had the means to repair. (head gasket, radiator, water pump, thermostat, etc) So, using the print out from the initial auto shop, I listed my issues here on Yelp and sought out some estimates. I received several replies, including one from JR, the owner of Lindbergh Auto. Although they were not the 'lowest' out of all the estimates, I knew I'd made the right decision in taking my car to Lindbergh Automotive. It was a gut feeling! When Daniel disagreed with the severity of damages on my car reported by the other auto shop, he earned my trust. Instead of taking advantage and doing unnecessary repairs, he communicated to me exactly what I needed done and the cost. Daniel continued to stay in contact with me through out this ordeal with any new situations that arose as he began working. Even though we hit a small bump or two along the way and my car was 'in shop' for 5 days, in the end, a job quoted by the 'previous shop' to the tune of $1800.- $2100, quickly became basic cooling issues costing a little more than half that, AND they threw in a FREE hand car wash for my longer than expected wait!! The real bonus is this: I now have a shop to return to in case of other car troubles in the future. Peace of mind is PRICELESS! car type: damaged wheel jaguar v8 supercharger 2005 purchased car a week prior. the car was in great condition! now one wheel looks worn due to mechanic carelessness! called on 5/4/19 was advised that mechanic can remove lug bolt from car without damaging the wheel as lugnut was broken only lug bolt remain, removable cost would be $150.00 and $200.00 if mechanic installed the hub assembly, which i had purchased from another source. when i arrived 5/6/19, price had increased to an additional $200.00 but after a few minutes of expressing the information was given to me by ltheir new hirer the original price was accommodated. the mechanic damaged my wheel- did not repair the lugbolt out of wheel! treated the situation carelessly and told me there was nothing that could be done to reflect the repair of my wheel or accommodate the cost of my out of pocket expense to have wheel repaired. i was told this is a private business, further more when i tried to call back no one would answer until i put in *67 my number and they answer the phone! this company appears to have shady business practices. beware! they do not honor there word! i do not recommend to anyone! read more

I went to this station to get a second-opinion estimate on brakes for my 2 year old car. I knew I needed front brakes, but they told me I needed to replace my rear brakes as well. Also, they told me I needed new rotors as mine could not be turned. After being handed an estimate of over 800 dollars, I quickly went back to the original shop. I told them the story of how this station wanted to charge me $800 for mostly unneeded repairs. The original station apologized and did only needed repairs for around 200 dollars (a reasonable charge). Again, my car is 2 years old and has less than 45000 miles on it! I can only assume the Exxon front desk thought I was a clueless girl who would pay any amount. Warning to girls out there -- don't go here!!! read more
