We loved this spot! We had been wanting to try Linden Brewery since they opened. We tried a little of everything. We had their wings and jalapeño popper egg rolls for appetizers. Both were phenomenal! If you like a little extra kick in your food, I really recommend the poppers. They were spicy and you could tell everything was very fresh! For main courses we tried the PB&J burger and the Sassy Sam. They were both delicious! We tried a few of their beers too, a light American Lager, a sour, and a cider. All were delicious. The service was fast and the place was clean. Overall very impressed with the spot!

I am a lover of breweries and consider myself relatively in touch with enjoying beers that most people would like. This spot was recommended to me by a couple of friends that live out this way and it was one I haven't been to yet. First of all, Linden is a cute little town with an adorable downtown and this brewery is situated nicely in a series of buildings of what I can only assume is on Main St. The brewery has two levels, but they were playing trivia on the second level (beer and trivia? Double bonus!) so I headed up there. Now I'm going to preface all this by saying I didn't try their food, but it looked wonderful. My entire experience was limited to a flight of beers and answering the trivia questions on my phone. I do want to come back and try some of the other beers, but I can solidly say that they were fine. Tried a specialty NEIPA and it was more juice than beer, but their more basic offerings were all what you would expect them to be. I will say, that staff was great. I always have a lot of questions and take some time to order and she was so patient. The atmosphere and customers were awesome. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and having such a good time with the trivia. Like I said, I definitely want to come back out here again and try some of their other beers. but it was a great spot to visit and a great small town brewery.

Here's a little personal recommendation - If you visit a local brewery, or any restaurant for that matter, that has a rotating "Special" menu - Order off of it. Why??? Because the standard menu is always going to be there and you can always order off of it. Now, the reason I even mention that is because Linden Brewing Company has a "Spicy Shiawassee Burger" on their special menu that was delicious! Pepper Jack cheese, Jalapeños, and gochujang sauce on a smash burger patty. I got the single and kind of wish I would have went for the double but my cholesterol is thanking me. It wasn't too light and it also wasn't too heavy; it was dang near perfect. I ordered their Amber Ale which was just the right amount of malt to where it didn't taste fake or sweet. Higher ABV than I typically see for an Amber sitting at a 6.5% I believe but good nonetheless. This was my second time visiting here and there will be a third when possible. They don't have a ton of space and it's in an older building with a lot of wood so the sound does travel and echo relatively easy. Two televisions above the bar and about 10 different beers on tap.

Jalapeño poppers. The hot honey they drizzle over the bacon is very flavorful.

This is something Linden has needed for A long time!! I also Love that they utilize the upstairs of the building. Service was decent. We sat at the upper bar. Had a couple IPAs and some delicious food.

Disclaimer-I do not drink beer. For other drinks and food however... They only have Faygo (cans $2 each), Lemonade or water served in clear solo cups and no refills! An ice tea would be a great addition. Atmosphere is boring, cold and uncomfortable. Walls are bare. Plates and silverware are plastic. Sliders are $6 each no sides. sliders were okay. We got the Sammy chicken sandwich ($14) It's dark meat and had zero flavor! Service was okay, not friendly, but not rude either. Not for me and unfortunately I doubt they will last unless they make some changes.

3 flights of beer. Would drink a pint of any of them!

What a gem! I had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. It was delicious! Others at the table had bourbon bacon jam smash burger with fries (best fries ever!) & loaded French fries, which I like to call heart attack on a plate :). All was awesome! This is a small bar/ dining on the main floor & 50 spots upstairs. Staff were courteous & knowledgeable! The beer is best in this area so far! See picture! We will be back for sure!

When we first stopped in, we got talking to the owner who let us sample many different beers before we finally settled on a few drinks. I had their Taco Crusher that has the best Jalapeno flavor. My friends got a spirit flight and the Diablo Margarita. We kept going with a Strawberry Lavender Lemonade and Old Fashioned. Nothing disappointed! I asked that the strawberry lavender lemonade be made with vodka instead of gin, as I don't care for gin, but the owner convinced me to order the drink as it came and he did not let me down! Every drink we had was sooo good! The owner is truly passionate about what he does and is so knowledgeable and happy to explain all the processes. Although I only have a very small percentage of Irish in me, I'm celebrating full on and love anything with corned beef! We went on Thursday figuring it would be the least busy of the 4 days, and let me tell you the dinner crowd was hopping. We snagged the last 2 spots at the bar and ordered. I'm not a beer drinker but I appreciated they had 2 rotating taps for hard cider and went with a lemon flavored cider (sounded intriguing and could have went either way so I appreciated the small sample). I actually really liked it and am bummed I forgot to ask who makes it. We both thought the Irish nachos sounded fun and different and when we asked we found out they were huge and could easily feed 2 people. I'm so glad we decided to try something different. They were on homemade potato chips and had corned beef, bacon, banana peppers, thousand island dressing, sauerkraut and of course cheese and sour cream. They did not skimp on the corned beef or bacon!! The service was friendly and the atmosphere lively. We will definitely be back because the regular menu also looked great!!

Theirs is a deep dish version with layers and layers of phyllo and a few secret ingredients that the chef wasn't willing to share (of course I asked!) My girl ordered the Croque Monsieur and I ordered the #97. I liked hers and she preferred mine so we swapped. The potato salad they brought with my 97 was just meh....the potatoes weren't cooked all the way and the mayo-yogurt based dressing was kind of a bummer, but the two different styles of pickles we ordered helped carry the sandwiches.
