Used the storage at Linden Park and the staff there, especially Will, were always so friendly and helpful. After 7 months, it was time to move again and as always, Will was above and beyond helpful. After over 7 years in a unit... transitioning through multiple facility owners, I returned to retrieve my belongings. I have been working and traveling out of WA State during those years. I paid extra money for indoor access, 10x12, and climate (heated) controlled unit, to ensure my belongings would be in optimal condition... primarily children's toys, books, paperwork, bath towels, linens, ....a few pieces of sentimental value furniture. My father had died, and my mom was in a care facility, so there were boxes of their items, paperwork, books, tools, but no furniture. When I arrived back in WA to move my items I found debris, bugs, & extensive mouse or rat damage (urine and feces) on many top and side boxes, and gnawing into about 25 boxes. When I called office to complain and asked for someone to come over to the unit to view the issue... I was told on 3 different calls during my move out someone would be over...no person ever came to view the situation I was dealing with. In addition, I was told since I did not have insurance there was nothing I could do about it with them. AND also told it is my responsibility to come by once a month/quarter to review the contents and request a timely resolution, should I discover anything awry. When I asked how that could happen if you put things in storage because you would be out of the State or country during most of the time. No response from the person. Basically all my fault. I asked what is the extra money supposed to provide the customer? I Never received a word or sincere expression of compassion nor regret for my distress. I have had several other units in other cities, none Heated, also these were all exposed to exterior entry, yet experienced NO damage what so ever! (...well some dust on units I had over two years) At 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of Linden Park Heated Storage! I would never pay or trust this management or facility again... I was at my storage unit today at 4:51 pm. I got what I needed and pulled around front to meet my brother to drop my nieces to him. As I pulled into the spot I noticed a lady leaving who obviously worked there. I told her I have a unit with the light out ( I wasn't sure if this was maintained by the office or myself) to which she rudely replied "yeah?" ... I said oh well I wasn't sure if I fix it or the office... to which she again with an attitude and rudely replied yeah well we close at 4 I'm on my personal time!!!! And turned around.... I was shocked. I own a business and if someone had a question I would still answer it whether or not it was after hours. I didn't ask for a light bulb or even assistance. I said well I was simply asking who took care of it as I am unsure I wasn't expecting you to do anything right now you dont have to be rude!!! I told her to have a happy holiday and began rolling up my window before I got it up I could here her bad mouthing me continuing to be rude snottily told me to have a happy holiday and to "F" off. This is the type of person you have managing your business??? This is absolutely appalling and disgusting!!! If this person owns the business they should have some sort of couth and business manners and etiquette!!!! If this is a worker you should be fired for your horrific behavior I had 3 little girls in my car!!!! YOU ma'am are exactly what is wrong with the world. Too busy for a simple question, and rude beyond belief!!!! I am still shocked. I am also looking for another company to store my things!!!! Horrible office staff. If you dont like your job find another one but don't take it out on the people that pay your bills!!!! Hope the holidays sprinkle some light on your horrible soul you grinch hag of a human!!!! Addendum: YES this person was leaving the office locking the door behind her with her wiener dog in tow. She told me you close at 4 and this is her personal time when I asked a simple question. She was rude and horrific as she unlocked the door next to your office to proceed up the stairs to what I assume are her living quarters. Telling me to "F" off because I said happy holidays you dont hVe to be rude... If she doesn't work for you why does she have access to the office where everyone's storage unit information is?? Screw these guys! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! I've been here for NINE years. Always paid on time and worked to be communicative and flexible with them, even when I lived abroad and woke up in the middle of the night a few times to make sure I could call when the proper person was on duty to work around their schedule. THREE TIMES I've been screwed over by their ridiculous rules that make no sense. Once I got a new card and they wouldn't update it without me driving all the way from Seattle where I live to Puyallup to give it to them in person. When I asked for a couple of days so I could find time to spend half my day in traffic to come down there, they said I would have to pay the late fee. I had to literally beg and reason with them that if they can take my card on the phone or pay online then I can pay now, but they made me come to them and wanted to charge me a late fee for it because THEIR system didn't work! THEN COVID HIT. I gave notice two months in advance and paid my rent for the last month I was supposed to be there and arranged help to be out by my move out date. Four days before move out, I got diagnosed with COVID and was put under quarantine. I called to let them know what happened and talked to TWO people that said they would give me some extra time to get out and prorate me for the month so that I didn't infect anyone. When I got charged for another month, I called to get reimbursed thinking it was a mix up and let them know that I would be out over the weekend, which was only 5 days past my move out date. The manager said ABSOLUTELY NOT. You have to pay for the WHOLE month and wouldn't give me my money back. I, again, said I have no problem paying for the five extra days but she said no, you have to pay for the entire month because "people can't just live for free." (Literally her words.) She also said, "You sound really good for someone with COVID." Implying I was lying to her. I told her I had very minor symptoms but can email her my positive test from the Health Department if she thought I was trying to get out of paying or needed them for her boss to document, but she snubbed it off. (Why, after paying on time for nine years would I try to get out of 5 days of payment with a fake COVID diagnosis??) I own two companies and work with clients every day and I can't imagine being so inflexible and unreasonable to my own clients that have been with me for nine years. The manager said I talked to an answering service when they promised to be flexible and prorate me so, "It didn't matter what they said." HOW IS A CUSTOMER SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT?! I have to honor what my employees say that may be incorrect policy. I'm not going to screw my customer over or make them mad because I didn't train my staff properly. Then she said they could have me out on the 31st when my move out date wouldn't be until the 20th of the next month (3 weeks later). So, basically, the facility could capitalize on getting me out 3 weeks early so they can move someone else in and get almost double the rent that month instead of working with someone that's trying to be responsible and not infect their customers. Then the lady hung up the phone on me! When she called back a few minutes later she said, "I didn't want to talk to you anymore so I just hung up on you instead." (Direct quote. What the?!!) The manager then said she talked to some higher up person and that they would make an exception so I can be prorated for the extra days, but after several calls, they never reimbursed me. This place is way too overpriced for Puyallup and the terrible customer service makes it a disaster. I could keep going with how terrible this place is (including how often and how much they raise their rates), but every problem I've had has been with Molly. She's the rudest customer service person I've ever worked with on multiple occasions. I would be humiliated if she managed either of my companies. The other staff were great over the years. Find another storage place with better service and more appreciation for customer loyalty!! read more

Linden park heated storage has been good to me for the last 6 years..ive had no problems with them what so ever. Molly is great....they have never been rude and they are cool to work with as long as u communicate. read more

The prices are not cheap... also the management has a crew that uses a backpack blowers to clean their driveways, but the crew blows in front of all the storage units, whcih pushes dirt into the storage units. Plan to have all your valuables with a layer of dirt... You will need to bring towels when you visit your unit to wash your hands... read more

Friendly and helpful service. My request for heated storage was a cold garage. Fire inspection for alarm system left my very organized space a cluttered mess, Boxes opening, and more strange things! Found ID that was no way associated with my peeps! It was reported. Nothing is missing as I can tell. Small scratches on some items smashed hats, but no real damage detected, as of yet. read more

I had the most RIDICULOUS experience today EVER! We have rented an RV space for near 2 years. I went into Linden Parks office in Puyallup to pay my bill and to get set up on an auto payment. I handed the gal my debit card for my husband & I joint account no questions making the payment, but she informed me that she could not set me up for auto pay because the account was under my husband name & not mine. The debit card provided had my name on it and the account has my husbands name on it. I have paid the bill out of this SAME exact account for the last 2 years! I was very confused as to WHY I couldn't set up an auto payment but could make a payment. My husband's name is on the bank account I was using!! She informed me that he had to come in and authorize that I was allowed to SET UP a payment on his account! WE'RE MARRIED!! ITS A JOINT BANK ACCOUNT!! What the heck!! You'd think I was trying to gain access to something amazing. Shoot, if someone was trying to make a payment and set it up so they get paid every month on time I'd be all for it! Long story short and an hour of my time wasted, I had to go home get a copy of my power of attorney, scan it and email it to the office manager. Now it's okay.... read more

Customer service rep was rude. They also have a moving van on their property that advertises that you can use it to move in, but when you call they say that they don't do that anymore and they haven't done that in a long time. Just rude people all around. read more

I have used 4 different storage facilties over the years, and Linden Park Heated Storage is by far the worst. I paid for a heated unit so that my items would not get weather damaged while stored and when I re-entered my unit to move out, it was filthy. Not just dust, but dirt and leaf fragments that had apparently blown in from under the door. A painting by the door was ruined with water damage and mold, a bar stool at the back of the unit had mildew growing on it, and my pillow top mattress that was in a mattress bag in the back of the unit still managed to get water damaged at the top where the bag wasn't sealed. When I reported the damage, I was told nothing could be done if I hadn't bought insurance. I didn't think I had to pay in advance for the damage that would occur in a heated, apparently leaking storage unit. read more
