Very frustrating with the amount of time it took to receive our breakfast ordered. Has 4 tacos and 4 burritos called in. We get there only one other two top table and one truck in drive thru. After 30 minutes, checked on it was told sorry the lady is by herself. But there were 3 servers. We finally got our food after 40 minutes. Even if the food is delicious I'm already in a bad mood from the experience. read more

Food always takes much longer than it should. The last time I went the food took an hour, the coffee tasted like dish soap and shortly after drinking it I became very sick. I ended up in the bathroom for about an hour. I brought this up to the cashier and she just told me everyone was drinking the same coffee so it must be just me. The food was subpar, some selections are decent. There are better options in the area and I won't be going back. read more

Nice little Mexican restaurant located in a former Dairy Queen. They're open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, so a great spot to grab a couple of Tacos Al Pastor after the bars close. Good food, good service and good prices. read more

My 1 year old daughter was served spoiled rice! We didn't even realize it until I was putting her leftover rice in a to go box. The rice smelled HORRIBLE, like how food smells after being left out for days. It upsets me so much that my baby girl was given spoiled rice, and now I'm just worried she is going to be sick. i picked flautas, they are tex-mex flautas not mexican, they have sour cream, in a scale from 1 to 10 rice has a 5/beans 6.5/ flautas 6/ wack 3/ salsa 7/ restrooms are not the cleanest and look is not the baddest, server just came once, to pick up my order and deliver it, oh man i hate when waitresses are having a nice conversation in front of you and ignore you. price- I had way better flautas for 6.99, their price 8.48 i think. no cheaps to munch read more

Sat the 3 of April me and a friend went to have lunch we ordered a margarita to go with our lunch we ordered.tbe the waitress brought our drinks to us me and my friend tasted the margarita we looked at one another and said foes ur margarita taste like soap we returned the drink was very nice abt it ordered our food.three small tacos and ordered another beverage to drink with our food. Food was cold very much thrown on a plate and served with no consideration of no kind. Terrible chips cold old and stale. Went up to register to pay the Manager tells me 26.00$ I said for wht three tacos. She said and u ordered two margaritas i said we sent those bck she said well u still have to pay told me she wasnt taken them off I ordered I had to pay I ask to speak to the manager she laughed at me and said well to bad I am the manager.u gotta pay poor customer service food terrible needless to say the bathrooms smelled like straight up sewer.awefull experiences.will never go bck read more

food was above sub par. the rice and beans were really good and the #13 lunch with cheese was delicious. i was impressed with the home made tortillas however, the salsa was incredibly hot. the queso was good but they charged for 3 queso when we didn't even order 1, however we did get one order of queso. the quicken enchiladas with cheese were okay. they had a sweet flavor that threw me off. the smell of the place was AWFUL!!! i walked in and almost threw up, my friend who was with me has a really bad gag reflex, and she almost threw up eating her food. everything was way overpriced for the quality of food, service, and smell. the bathroom was awfully small and also smelled atrocious. we won't ever go back but the #13 was delicious and the only reason the review has more than 1 star. read more

Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE service. I went and was overcharged for a burrito and also did not ask for onions on my burrito. Naturally, I took it back. Some guy who coincidentally didn't want to speak with me claiming to be the owner refused to take it back or make me another one correctly. I spent 9.24 on a dern burrito that I can't even eat and they tell me to pay again or pick them out. CRAPPY. Even McDonald's is courteous enough to remake your order. everytime we go here, to get exactly the same order, the price changes... it depends on who rings us up as to how much we pay... really pisses me off to be overcharged... the food is just tacos... not gold... 6 tacos and 2 teas cost anywhere from $15 to $19 dollars.... its just not right! read more

Wow. Amazing how things have seemingly degenerated here in just two months. I ate here last time I was in Lufkin, about two months ago, eary October. Now i was there to visit family for Christmas, so stopped in for my favorite breakfast the day after -- chorizo y huevos plate. The amount of chorizo in the scrambled eggs was significantly less than ever before. The temperature of all items on the plate, including the refried beans and the potatoes, was barely room temperature and the beans were almost cold. I requested corn tortillas, but was was served flour ones. They tasted bland and stale. The sweet tea was way too sweet. Always in the past the waitresses spoke Spanish as a first language, and English a bit haltingly. About 90% of the customers were Hispanic. This time, there were no Hispanics -- a bad sign. All the waitresses spoke only English even among themselves -- English with no accents. Now, this may seem "funny", but I feel that it indicates something has changed in the running of the restaurant. and not for the better. Well, nothing stays the same I guess, and there are two or three other taqueria restaurants in Lufkin that are pretty good, so guess I will be going there from now on. Adios, Lindo Mexico. The prices are good, but dealing with the staff isn't worth the headache. They always get the order wrong, then rudely proclaim that it's what you ordered. They'll even talk nasty about you in Hispanic if they think you don't know the language. I definitely won't be going back here and I fervently hope they close. read more
