    Beautiful Baby Shower Cookies!
    Gina P.

The cutest cookies in the whole world! Lindy's Cookie Studio has the best cookies around. I ordered cookies for my daughter's baby shower. They were beautifully made and delicious. The cookies far exceeded my expectations. Lindy actually took time out of her day and delivered the cookies to me. Lindy's Cookie Studio has my business for every party to come.

    Lindy's custom cookie wedding favors!

My husband and I gave Lindy's cookies out as favors at our wedding and couldn't have been happier with how everything went. We knew we wanted to give cookies as favors and after some internet research I found Lindy's site. I contacted her to ask if we could sample her cookies before committing to an order, meaning we would pay, but she quickly replied that she would drop off some free samples during one of her upcoming deliveries. (FYI, she was always super quick to respond to emails!) She met me at my office to drop off a generous bunch of samples, which were of course delicious, so we decided to place an order. I let Lindy know the cookie design we were going for, and she trial and errored a few options, sending me photos. She hit the nail on the head for what we were going for, so I told her the number we needed and the date we needed them for, and she delivered everything on time without any issue. The cookies came out great and almost all of our guests took their cookie favor with them at the end of the night (we were kind of hoping for some more leftovers!). Between the price, the service we received, and the final product, we were very happy with Lindy's work and would highly recommend her for any special cookie events!

Lindy printed the Amy Hamilton art onto the cookies and they turned out AMAZING!

This review is long overdue. I was coordinating my sister's baby shower back in May of this year. I had everything set but felt that the dessert spread needed something more. I was looking for more ideas to inspire me on Pinterest and saw that many people ordered custom cut animal cookies for their Woodland Babies themed parties. I decided to search yelp for custom-made cookie businesses and came across Lindy's yelp page. It had high reviews so I contacted her...3 days before the event! I didn't expect her to accept my request, but thought I'd try anyway. She contacted me promptly and was willing to work with me. With the amount of time I gave her, she would not have enough time to do the custom fondant cookies I originally asked of her, but she presented me with 2 options of which 1 ended up being the best way to go. She definitely makes good decisions design-wise. As she looked closer at the art that I sent her to use on the cookies, she decided that square instead of round cookies would do the art justice. And boy was she right! I even asked her to print the animals near the bottom of the cookie in the way the original artist intended, and she totally understood what needed to be done. She also showed up personally to deliver the cookies on time. The cookies were absolutely amazing!!! Everyone was literally fighting for them lol! They not only looked beyond excellent, they tasted excellent too. I really wish I had stolen more of them for myself. The option that Lindy offered was actually the most perfect option. And, it really, really tied the theme into the food perfectly!!! It brought it over the top! I highly recommend Lindy with no hesitation. She provided the most excellent customer service and came through for me last minute. She is absolutely a true gem.

I ordered a batch of cookies for my friend's baby. The cookies were delightful. I asked for very specific designs based on the other gifts I was giving & she hit it out of the box. The cookies were exactly what I asked, but better than I imagined. The next event that I want to give a customized gift, I know who I'm calling. ps. I'm out of state & she shipped them to arrive on time. Easy transaction, all the way from start to finish.

Housewarming event...tasty door cookie with a picture of the home on the back of it.

For my graduation cake, I chose the tres leches and it was so creamy, moist, and delicious. I basically ate half of the cake by myself lol. This most recent time, I needed a snack and wanted something sweet. Everything here looks amazing and I'm sure tastes amazing too, so it's hard to choose. We got two cupcakes to share -- the purple velvet and the main squeeze. The purple velvet is ube butter cake, ube mousse, and ube cake crumbs. The ube flavor is both sweet and nutty and the mousse topping was light and delicious. The main squeeze is lemon cake filled with lemon curd, cream cheese frosting, and a buttercream lemon on top. Both were incredible, but my favorite was the lemon! I loved that the lemon flavor was light, and the cream cheese frosting balanced it out really nicely. The space is so cute inside! It's also a lot larger than I was expecting. We grabbed a seat at one of the tables inside to enjoy our treats. I will definitely be back with my toddler for a cupcake date soon!

I especially liked the longanisa breakfast sandwich and chicken adobo. I'm so glad that they were willing to make the breakfast sandwhiches beyond 12pm for some of us waiting in line. Fyi they normally stop making the breakfast sandwhiches at noon. Be prepared to wait in line for at least an hour, this spot is super popular. I also really enjoyed the chicken adobo. The chicken was tender and I thought the hint of sweetness from the coconut flakes sprinkled on top was a pleasant touch. I also really liked the Manila fog drink - it wasn't too sweet or overpowering. For the ube huckleberry basque cake - I mostly tasted tartness from the huckleberry and not so much ube, but it was good regardless. The staff were all pretty nice. There's indoor and outdoor seating. You'll likely be able to make a friend or two from the wait in line haha. Highly recommend trying this place at least once!

Finally got the chance to try Kasama for breakfast!…read more I'd recommend ordering online for takeout right at 8:45AM, on a Saturday the pickup time was 9:30AM. When we arrived there was a huge line, so I wouldn't recommend trying to dine in unless you wanna wait for hours. Matcha latte (3/5): just ok, could use more matcha powder. Filipino Breakfast (4/5): upgraded to both meats which I'd recommend, solid platter but a little pricey. Hashbrown Sandwich (3/5): average, wish they included some kind of sauce like a chipotle aioli. Would skip this and get the Filipino breakfast instead. Apple Pastry (4/5): flakey and delicious. Ube basque cake (4/5): didn't really taste the Ube but it was still good. Overall solid spot for breakfast, I would come back for their Filipino breakfast and to try more of their pastries.

I was skeptical at first because it is a local chain, rather than a singular location. However, it lived up to the hype. Service: it was extremely busy when we came in. The line was almost out the door. They have a system in place for ordering and seating so it worked well and fast given how busy they were. We didn't have any questions on where to order or where to stand when waiting for a seat. The staff were friendly and helped us find a spot to sit at. Ambiance: classic cafe in a city. Loud chatter, but it's a vibe. Very colorful and fun interior with cool textural elements. We had a seat that was facing the street so it was fun to people watch as we sipped and ate. Food: amazing breakfast selection! We ordered the morning sandwich and barbacoa bowl. The morning sandwich had THICK scrambled eggs which were super soft and tasty. I could've used more salsa verde on it. The bread was barely toasted. I'd rate the sandwich a 3.8/5. It got the job done. The barbacoa bowl was "really good" according to my fiancé. A great source of protein, fresh ingredients, nice flavor, and great portions. He would rate it a 5/5. Coffee: I am a coffee snob so I am quite harsh when it comes to reviewing it. Their machine is a cute La Marzocco. Appropriate sized "for-here" glasses according to the drinks. Plus, they were really cute. Wide variety of drink selection from your standards to the more girly-drinks (if there is such a thing). We ordered a cappuccino and small hot mocha. Latte art 4.5/5, temperature 5/5, flavor 4/5. The espresso didn't stand out to me, very standard flavor profile. However, the chocolate in the mocha was delicious. It's more of a rich, dark chocolate. Nice thin layer of foam. Would recommend to try at least once when you're in Chicago! Glad to have stopped in.

The croissant wasn't filled, it just had pistachio cream on the top with a couple of nuts. I would order the shaksouka pastry again. The egg was cooked well, and the tomato was very good. They were supposed to heat it up, but it wasn't warm.

We visited around noon on a Sunday, and after reading the reviews here, I wasn't optimistic there would be many pastries left. Maybe I should play the lottery, because luckily there was no line and a pretty good selection of pastries left. The staff were super friendly and there were so many unique flavors of baked goods. We decided to split several and opted for the blueberry cloud cookie, chai cinnamon roll, banana pudding croissant, espresso cornflake cookie, and potato focaccia. The shop was more of a small take-out operation, so we took the pastries to a nearby park to eat. Everything was absolutely divine! The group favorite was the focaccia- the creamy potatoes and cheese brought a rich flavor that was perfectly balanced by the fluffy bread. The chai roll was perfectly soft and delicately spiced, completed with that soft cream cheese frosting and gooey center we all like to see. My personal favorite was the banana pudding croissant- the dough was so crispy that I'm pretty sure others could hear the bite, and there was a generous amount of filling with fresh bananas and visible vanilla beans in the whipped cream. The espresso cookie was super soft- while I couldn't taste the espresso very clearly, I absolutely *loved* the caramel-coated cornflakes topped with sea salt. Super unique and would definitely order again. Despite their decadent appearances, none of the pastries were too sweet. Already plotting a return visit and can't recommend this shop enough!
