This is a nice place. The staff is very friendly. There were lots of locals and we sat visiting with some who said they were regulars and loved the place. I came to Lindy's to see a a fellow band play in the back area of the parking lot, it is a separate building altogether with a bar great place to watch a band, but I did travel inside to the restaurant, it was very busy, it is first come, first serve, I will tell you the food was delicious, the weight staff is very attentive to your needs, very professional establishment, I was with four people, and we all ordered something different from the menu, everything that we had ordered was excellent, there was nothing negative, and we never ran out of drinks. A good size u shaped bar with several choices on tap and a nice selection of mixed drinks. Not a lot of seating and the wait can be long, but don't let this deter you. 1 hour wait to be seated, but the food was worth the wait. Everything that our party of 4 ordered was plentiful and delicious. Tender prime rib and lots of shellfish. The prices are very reasonable. Dinner date last evening with the hubs. Got the nacho appetizer which was really good. I got the 1/2 chicken dinner (forgot to take a photo ) which was more than enough food for one person. Came with chicken, salad, pasta and sauce and cornbread. The sauce for the pasta was not quite as good as another local restaurant that specializes in this type of meal but the cornbread beats out the rolls you get from the other place. My husband said the quesadillas were fresh and delicious! The sangria wasn't as sweet as I typically like but was still consumed! lol. Everything they serve is excellent but my favorites are the lobster rolls and turkey dinner.

It would be helpful to the public if the daily fb posting stated the prices for those items that are "market" on the menu. Disappointed to watch them rudely speak to an elderly woman with a service dog & then kick her out refusing service. She did nothing wrong, her dog was quiet and well behaved in a service vest. They question why she had a service dog which I believe is illegal. I'll think twice before returning if that's how they treat customers. read more

Food is decent by pub food standards. It's clearly a local watering hole. The bar is always packed and the dining area is a big open room that is so loud it's deafening. There is no call ahead seating and there is always a wait between 5-7. The prices are good but they charge a 3% fee to use a credit card so bring cash. The old adage that the customer is always right does not apply however. I tried to return one of their seasonal drinks that I tried on the waitresses recommendation. It tasted like cough syrup and it was undrinkable. The manager told me that they made it according to their specifications and the wouldn't take it off the bill even though I had order something else. I thought that was really crappy given the markup on booze. I've never had that experience in a restaurant in my life. Being charged $11 for a terrible drink was insulting. Buyer beware. read more

Went there with some family and the food was just ok. The clam cakes didn't have any clams in them and to make matters worse, they were overcooked. The seafood chowder had no flavor and the lobster roll seemingly had no seasoning or flavor as well. I was not impressed. ****Update Unfortunately**** Well Lindy's, second time in a month, things have gone weird there, thought first time was an off night. Both times food has just been okay. We loved Lindy's and go frequently. Usually excellent but last two times the seafood is not good. The good news: The Rib Eye was delicious as always, sides were good also, salads, mashed potatoes (because no baked potatoes), and French fries. Bad news: Although the seafood platter looks very large it was awful. Sea Scallops were old very strong ammonia smell. Ate a half one strong taste spit it out into napkin. Husband swallowed his half, 81 year old who doesn't taste well ate his that I shared with him no comment. I cut open another one smelled awful very strong ammonia smell. I let the waitress know who took them away because she smelled it also. This was an $8 upgrade for 4 sea scallops from the bay scallops. Then I ate the shrimp again shared with both they were good. Little piece of fish which was not cooked properly, (batter fell off completely) then I Unburied the clams absolutely disgusting. Tasted like mildew and definitely undercooked. At this point stopped eating. Seafood chowder was not good either no seafood like it usually has, mostly potatoes, cool, and not usual taste. Waitress returned and offered a box To take my food I said no thanks it's awful and my stomach is turned off by it. Told her the clams were bad also. She cleared our table came back with the check and the manager took off the $8 up charge for the sea scallops. Still charged for the seafood platter and no visit from the manager. Needless to say this was pretty disappointing and probably lost a customer. I understand times are tough in the restaurant business and I try to always support small places but this was gross. $170 dollars later and I'm Feeling stomach issues as I write this. First time here. I saw that there were a few picnic tables outside, and decided to eat outside - the persons gangling my order were friendly and helpful. I ordered a bowl of seafood chowder- the chowder was creamy had fish, shrimp and potatoes I didn't see any clams. It was tasty wish it was hot. Wow! I wish that we had checked this place out sooner! It's a first come first serve kinda place but they have an outdoor cash bar to hang out while you wait. You could even order your food and walk on down there to eat. The food was great, and even better surprisingly cheap! The menu is huge so there are many things to try. Absolutely phenomenal! Asked for suggestions on where to get some seafood- I wanted something different. Were we surprised! We started with homemade onion rings and Mac & cheese bites, salads (good size) and Seafood chowder loaded with seafood and lobster. I got the seafood platter and it was well worth $24.99! Had a huge piece of fish, 3 giant shrimp, heaping piles of whole belly clams, scallops, fries, onion rings and coleslaw. Chicken Alfredo was off the charts. Teriyaki chicken dinner delicious, fish & chips rocked and last but not least....... strawberry shortcake! Yes, strawberry short using a yummy biscuit. We also got a cheesecake which was good. I have to say, this place is fair priced and you get a great amount of food for the money. Resturant was clean, staff friendly, great atmosphere. Good for dates, friends or family. 100% will go back! We had not visited Lindy's in quite a while. We had been given a Lindy's gift card, so we decided we should use. it. We both like seafood, and both meals were excellent. As far as the food, there are no complaints. However, there were two issues that are to be mentioned. I asked for some mayonnaise, as I prefer it with my French fries. When the check came, there was a 75 cents charge for a small dallop of mayonnaise in a small plastic cup. The charge should have been mentioned at the time of ordering. When I used the gift card to pay for the food, they took another 3% for "use of a card." I did leave an appropriate tip in cash for the server. Keep in mind that this is a Lindy's gift card they issued and not a credit card or a bank issued gift card. These "sneaky" charges, although not very much, brought about some poor feelings about Lindy's. Keep in mind that we had just returned from visiting four countries in Europe, and we never encountered these surcharges. We only used a credit card to pay for our meals in Europe. read more

Lindy's Tavern has become quite the disappointment - we've ordered from them for absolute years, and stopped ordering from them about a year and a half ago due to dissatisfaction. on a whim, we decided to give them another try to see if the quality had improved. BIG mistake. we ordered 4 sandwiches total - all of them except for the buffalo chicken wrap had problems. the steak and cheese wrap was literally the size of an egg roll - we were all absolutely shocked to see it. comparing it to the buffalo chicken wrap it was obvious there was a big difference. the steak and cheese sandwich was on a cold, un toasted roll (when it was advertised as toasted) with the smallest amount of steak imaginable. the italian sub, which was advertised as NOT toasted, came toasted, with filling tossed around the entire container. and last but not least the steak and cheese wrap which was the size of an egg roll, and also had a BONE (or some other hard and foreign object) in it, that almost cracked a tooth. i think the ultimate disappointment is that their management team stands behind these meals, after being presented with pictures and explanations, as being quality & something that they're proud of (see screenshot of message they provided in response - and yes, the bone video was included). I posted my review to Facebook, because I was extremely disappointed and felt that it was important to share my experience - in the middle of the night, Lindy's "Night Guy" (aka a coward who speaks poorly to those who have negative reviews against Lindys in the middle of the night) commented on the post stating that there was no problem with the order, and a bunch of other rude nonsense. I never received a call back from the manager or from the owner as promised. overall, big big disappointment food wise, even bigger disappointment customer service wise. definitely won't be giving them another chance after this. read more
