It has been so good in the past, but my last experience was awful. I'm hoping it was just a fluke. I went off course by way of a friend's recommendation and tried a pulled chicken sandwich, since their quartered chicken is so amazing. The sandwich had no flavor, was super dry, and wasn't pulled at all. Just cut up chicken pieces. The BBQ sauce had nothing to grab onto! A travesty, really. read more

Good BBQ and great customer service. They hosted a 60-person event and did a great job ! We were very pleased with the food and venue.

First time to visit for dinner on a Friday night. The ambiance is nothing special; however the food is well prepared. We had a dry rub tin plate and a brisket dinner, both with beans and slaw. First of all the beans are legit. Slaw is unique and well balanced. Brisket was lean but not as tender as expected but good with excellent smoke and seasoning. Ribs were not as meaty as some others in the area but the only dry rub I have found. Well executed and tender. We will return and a good value. read more

After just one visit, this is now my favorite BBQ place in Ft. Smith. Their brisket sandwich is terrific. Thick, hand sliced, meat with just enough fat to make it wonderfully tender and flavorful. Im not a fat eater, but this was good. The sandwich is served without any sauce on it. If you just enjoy the taste of good meat without being drowned in sauce, this is your place. Add sauce to your liking. The "Uncle T's" beans are a great side dish. Five different types of beans make this a change from the typical beans found in most BBQ restaurants. Adding a splash of BBQ sauce made them perfect. Serving size was a bit skimpy to my liking, but the generous amount of meat on the sandwich made up for it. Being a fan of really hot sauce, I used the "scorpion" sauce. It has a great flavor, but is certainly not the hottest I've eaten. It's quite good. If you don't care for the heat, they have a mild sauce. It looked good in the bottle, but I didn't try it. Don't be afraid to try a taste of the scorpion sauce unless you just really don't like hot stuff at all. Another plus is that they are open 7 days a week. Service was excellent, with two ladies waiting on me without being a nuisance. Perfect. This is a restaurant worth the effort to find. If you're on east side of town, you're not far away. From most other areas, it may a bit of a drive to get there. It's worth it. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the price. At $9 for the large sandwich and a side, it's not cheap. But, the serving size of meat is above average, and its quality is top notch. I might be a bit harsh with only 4 stars. 4.5 would be just right. You decide. read more

We will never order from this restaurant again. Placed an order for two meals on Waitr. Waited over an hour to receive two ice cold dinners. We called the restaurant to complain and their response was to blame Waitr. The restaurant took no responsibility. I have no idea if the food is good or not; we didn't get that far. Husband and I went in one night and the place was packed. We couldn't tell who was an employee, but there was a woman bouncing around with a rag in her hand so we're assuming she worked there. She flitted around between tables but I couldn't tell she was actually doing anything. She came right over near where we were standing, looked at us, then walked off. No greeting, no kiss my grits, no seat yourself, nothing. I turned to another couple who were waiting there and ask them if she actually just ignored us and they said yes. That couple stayed; we did not. If that's the best customer service they have, they can keep their BBQ. read more

Everything was fine at 1st we walked up to the window we ordered our food got our drinks went to the table and sat down after 30 Minutes I got tired of waiting and walked up to the window to ask about our order it was sitting right beside the door they did not have enough courtesy to holler my name or wave me over to the door or even simply walk out 2 steps from the door to our table we were never asked how things were never asked if we needed something else how the food was if we needed a refill on our drinks nothing once they took our money it was nothing but a bad attitude they were so rude so disrespectful just so horrible it was unbelievable Those servers will run that place into the ground if management or owners don't step in and and clean it up today it was so bad people were walking up ordering one beer and leaving because the service was so horrible they were never asked for another drink because the servers couldn't get off their butt and out of the air long enough to acknowledge their customers. It was probably the worst service I've ever had and this is coming from a bartender of 8 years. You can blame this on the heat you can blame this on the Corona but there is not one decent excuse for a disrespectful bad attitude when you're at work especially when your job is being a server..
