We Uber eats this to the home and was pleasantly surprised on how authentic and delicious the food was. Well, looking at the reviews and pictures. I got a whole different experience than what I was seeing on here. We ordered the General Chicken and were pleasantly surprised, it was a huge piece of white meat, but perfectly cooked, flavorful, and not overwhelming at all. The egg drop soup made the perfect starter, and the spring rolls were delicious. My friend ordered the egg rolls and absolutely loved them too. For takeout, the whole experience was amazing. Decided to stop inside Lin's today to place a to-go order. I was greeted by a nice lady upon walking in. I asked her a million questions about the menu and she was kind to answer them all. I decided on the Kung Pao Triple Delight. It took me about 20 mins to get home and was still hot and fresh when I arrived. My meal was very delicious!! I still have some left over. I come here often for the lunch specials and usually have a good experience, but today was disappointing. I ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken, got home, and realized there was no sweet-and-sour sauce in my bag. I called, and they told me to bring everything back so they could give me a fresh order. When I returned the food, I expected a new meal, but instead they just reheated my original order. You could clearly tell -- some of the pieces were burnt from being reheated, and the food definitely wasn't fresh. When I asked for a refund, I was told, "your food is ready," even though nothing had been remade. I'm really disappointed in the lack of care and honesty. If a mistake is made, the least a customer should get is what was promised -- a fresh, properly prepared replacement, not reheated leftovers. The service was absolutely deplorable. Young lady at the front has no understanding of customer service; she answered the phone rudely and was even worse when I walked in to pick up order. She was immersed in her phone, not acknowledging I was standing in front of her at the counter until I spoke to get eye contact. She still didn't greet or apologize for being disengaged. Customer service has gone down the drain and they expect customers to continue to patronize their establishments. I will never return and will discourage others. Businesses need to learn to change their practices to keep customers returning. No wonder it was empty in there! read more

Just ate here tonight and honestly, the food was pretty mid. To start off, all the sodas were flat, so our waitress even recommended not to order any. The wonton soups came out lukewarm--almost cold--which was disappointing. I ordered two dinner plates that weren't too bad and edible, but I also got my son a kids' chicken lo mein. He refused to eat it, which was odd because he loves lo mein. I tried it myself and it had a weird gritty texture and bad taste. I even had my sister-in-law try a small bite, and she agreed something was off. When the waitress came back, I told her the lo mein didn't taste right. Her response was, "Do you want me to just throw it away?"--and this was with about 98% of the food still on the plate. She asked what was wrong, and when I explained, she said, "Does it taste like sand?" Like... what? Why would she say that unless other people have complained about the same thing? I tried not to let that ruin dinner, but when the check came, we were still charged for the lo mein. I waved the waitress over, and she said her manager told her it couldn't be refunded since it was "touched" and they couldn't give it to anyone in the back. I explained it was practically untouched--less than two bites were taken. She went back to talk to the manager, and when she returned, she repeated that it couldn't be refunded. At that point, we asked to speak with a manager, but no one came out. We actually heard yelling in the back, and eventually our waitress returned, apologized, and said they'd take it off the bill. we will never come back to this place! i have never in my life been treated so horribly at a restaurant all for simply asking for RICE! we have been here 3 times and the first 2 times were okay, the waitress asked us both times if we wanted white or brown rice. this time was not the case, when we received our food and asked for rice we were told it doesn't come with rice and it's extra, we told them multiple times we don't care if it's extra just bring the rice and the two wait staff just kept arguing with us and saying it doesn't come with rice over and over which turned into a huge screaming fest between us and the owner because she couldn't even get off the phone long enough to hear our concerns! she should not be anywhere near customers!! The food was just okay. Rangoons were thick and chewy. Lo mein was overcooked and swollen. Flavor was lacking with General Chicken. Felt like an inconvenience being there to pick up a to go order. Plus side is it was ready when it was supposed to be. We're visiting friends here and they brought us to this restaurant. We entered into a well arranged clean and nice looking establishment. The service was fast and friendly. The food was very good. Our server anticipated all of our needs before we could mention them. To top it all off the bathroom was amazingly clean. I don't think I've ever been in a restaurant bathroom as clean as this one. The whole experience was very impressive and our server Linda made us feel very welcomed. She treated us as if she had known us forever. If we lived here we would be back. Ijust moved to the area and wanted to try this place out but I wanted to inform others not to come to this place. i asked for chicken and I received pork. I am allergic to pork but To top it off lady in the front said she couldn't refund me or exchange my food for a different dish or remake my food she said oh well it wasn't her fault and that the kitchen made it already and I would have to eat it like this. Our second visit to Lin's. This time I had the hot pot. Wow, what a combo of food. Chicken, beef, shrimp, scallops, cabbage, baby corn and mushrooms in a cast iron bowl. It comes with sticky white rice or you can get friend rice for an additional 1.50 A tip, take the food out of the bowl before you eat it, it will burn your mouth from sheer heat. It is served in a brown sauce. Each of the meats was cooked as it should have been, nothing was overcooked or under cooked. It was more than I could eat so my husband obligingly finished it for me after he finished his beef and broccoli. The food here is good, the prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean and the location is perfect. You can shop until you drop and come here to regroup and get some tasty nourishment. read more

Okay. This is our second visit to Lin's China Diner. Both visits were for a late lunch, and both times the dining area had plenty of other customers. Lin greeted us, and took our orders. In general I order the same food when I visit a Chinese restaurant for the first time. It's almost inevitably beef with broccoli. It's not exciting, but when it's done right it's extremely tasty, hot, and delicious. It's a metric of quality for me. I have to say that Lin's China Diner did an amazing job. The food was fast, and served piping hot and fresh. Nothing was overcooked. The beef was tender and nicely flavored. The sauce, a classic Chinese brown sauce, was not too syrupy, nor too thin. The broccoli was crisp and fresh, crisp and green. The steaming sauce clung to the florets, giving them a temperature jolt. Great flavors and consistency. My wife had the Clay Pot, which was served in a volcanic bubbling metal cauldron. It was screaming hot filled with chicken, shrimp, scallops, mushrooms, cabbage, etc. It's brown sauce was different containing more ginger and none of the beefy flavor that mine had. It was Smokey and savory. Awesome. I finished her meal ... LOL! Lin's is now our go-to place for Chinese food. Kudos Warning! The food is temperature hot here. The spice level is moderate. read more

At 6:55 on Wednesday night I ordered combination pad Thai;beef, shrimp, pork and 6 piece wings for delivery. I live 10 minutes from there. I called three times to ask where my food was and the first time she called him for his whereabouts and she said he was 3 minutes away. I had the almond chicken by recommendation from Amy the super great server. It was delish a great referral I walked in for the first time and was greeted by Amy who's warm smile and happy voice instantly made me feel welcome. I noticed she had 5 tables by herself and I thought service was likely to be slow but was I wrong. She was right a my table asked about something to drink and served that super fast. She got my order promptly, the food was as tasty as she promised. One thing the egg drop soup was very orangery yellow in color but the taste was very nice.
