I had high hopes for this establishment. However, the food came off a bit sweet, for a spicy garlic sauce. However, it seems catered to a specific group set. The sweetness came off as unauthentic. The establishment is nice, the service is nice. The food could use some work. However this is a newer establishment that I think is still trying to find its medium. Tried Lin's for the first time with family in town and were not disappointed! The restaurant was clean and tables were spaced out. We all ordered something different - General Tso, kung pao chicken, sesame chicken and orange chicken. All came out hot and plated very beautifully! The portions were a very good size as well. In 2 minutes , Lin's china diner changed the delivery charge to $6, and apparently the driver already left for delivery :P, when I called for pickup because of the outrageous delivery fee for home 4.2 miles away. Food made my roommate physically ill! Ordered the Seafood Hotpot, an item he had ordered often before. Not sure what it was we received. Opened the package and nearly gagged right there. But being the trooper he was, my roommate tried to be gracious and eat the slop. As it was his birthday dinner, he was trying to be nice about it. Three bites in he was rushing to the bathroom. It's hard enough celebrating a birthday in today's Covid 19 world. Adding a healthy dose of food poisoning wasn't needed! My food wasn't much better. Kung Poe Triple Delight... flavorless. Thankfully I did have Kung Poe sauce here, so mine was fixable to a point. Not that it helped. The evening was already destroyed. Ended up not being able to stomach my food because I was so upset about my roommates ruined birthday. I did call the restaurant. They offered to remake his dish on some other night, as the kitchen was already closed. I mentioned this to my friend who just went from pale to slightly green while shaking his head no. The one star is because you were open on Christmas and wore a Santa hat. TJINs and Baos down the street just do it so much better and they don't charge me a mandatory tip. The Sesame Chicken and the Lo Mein noodles were the worst I had in a long time! The "Lo Mein" noodles were not even Lo Mein noodles! They were lipton soup noodles and their Lo Mein sauce was horrible. The fried rice was ok at best, but you can make better fried rice via YouTube recipes that actually tastes better! I do not recommend this place at all!!! The sesame chicken was like oversized meatballs in which I was personally scared to eat, because normal sesame chicken are marble sized or like small cut up strips. The sauce was bad as well. If you drive past it don't even think about it! Just keep going. Run! This place makes Panda Express taste like authentic chinese food! I have had some bad chinese takeout before, however, this was the first time I actually threw away food after just tasting it. The server kept bumping into the stroller with a baby in it to get to a table next to us when she could have gone around the table that was between us..I guess she didn't want to take a few more steps?? The service was absolutely terrible and they had the AUDACITY to tip themselves 20% gratuity on the tab and then had a line for extra tip! No where did it say there will be an automatic 20% gratuity on the tab with a table of 3 adults and 2 children. I usually tip 20% even when service is ehh because I know times are hard but this was not right. I should have read the reviews before going to this place. BEWARE. We have gone her for year's, but now are having second thoughts. The food is good and people who own it are outstanding but yesterday 05/14/21 we observed an incident with one of the server's. We dropped in for late lunch but missed the 1500 deadline so just ordered the regular prices menu. The server Ting, is not very friendly but after she had brought our food noticed her cleaning her teeth and in the dining area... no other customer's were there at the time, so kept thinking she would wash her hands, but never did. None of the managers were there at the time or would have pointed this out. The food is still good but poor habits such as that should never be allowed. There was plastic cooked into the chicken on one of our meals. Part of our order was wrong. The staff was rude & paid no attention to us after taking orders. We were never offered refills on our drinks. During taking the order the waitress was short tempered & rushed. When we addressed the fact that we were still expected to pay for the meal with the plastic in it the server was very rude. When I got upset another server inserted herself into the conversation also being rude. 5% was taken off the meal that had the plastic but I was charged over $20 in gratuity & my bill was $130. You would think with a customer paying so much you'd have a little more respect. It really shouldn't matter how much is being payed to begin with. Treat your customers as if you care about them & they will come back. We have eaten here for a few years & we will never be back. The experience was horrible. Been to this place a few times and we are treated the same every time - with attitude and rudeness! I don't understand why the waitress and the girl who sits in the cashier have so much bad attitude. Food is ok, we come here for just a couple of dishes. But today we had to walk out because one of the waitress just crossed the line after raising her voice at my family member. Just because we couldn't understand what she was saying and the other waitress was saying something else that got us confused.. so my family member had no choice but to correct her and we end up walking out. We'll never come back to this place. To the manager or owner of this restaurant, please train your employees how to give better service. read more

Been here several times now and have been pleased with the service and food. The prices are good for portion size and quality of food. Some of dishes you get at any Chinese place, like General Tso Chicken, are made with chunks of white meat with the proper amount of breading, not scraps covered in huge amounts of bread, this is quality for the area. I love the crab Rangoon here...probably imitation crab, but still delicious, they are not greasy and don't crumble, prepared very good. I don't remember the name of the dish, but my favorite is the chicken, beef, shrimp, scallops in spicy garlic sauce with baby bamboo shoots and water chestnuts and green and red bell pepper, delish! (12.95) if I had to complain about anything...the servers are too polite! (I know right?) they ask each time if it's ok to refill my drink...I'm not used to that...every other place just grabs the glass and usually splashes tea or water on my table to boot. read more

When the food arrived it was luke warm and the sesame sauce from my chicken had spilled all throughout the bag. Covering every container underneath in the bag. Then, after I reheated my food and started to eat, I had taken maybe three to four bites of the pad Thai before a nice curly hair wrapped around my tongue. Absolutely my favorite Chinese place to go to ! So far every time I go with my family we get the same waitress and she's amazing! Super quick and nice. The place is quite cute and comfortable with a mixture of booths and tables. All the food I have ordered from here is always great! Ive only ordered off the lunch meal a few times, but the few times I have I'm always satisfied. Portions are good as well (: I got general tso chicken with fried rice, wonton soup AND a spring roll for $8.12!
