I had been awaiting the opening for months. I have been to Lin's about 5 years ago in Phoenix AZ so I was somewhat familiar with the place, but it's been some time. For me a trip to Las Vegas isn't complete without hitting up at least 1 buffet, some love them, some send that instant veto rippling throughout the group or family. Its an unfair veto because of preconceived ideas about the $3.99 buffets of yesteryear. Lin's is priced between 16.00 and 21.00 with a fair-ish 10 percent senior discount sodas are priced right at $3.50 The building and dining room are new so it's in excellent shape and perhaps the cleanest buffet I have ever been too. Service was spiffy with an excellent and kind welcome all the read to answer the half dozen questions my group had (we didn't invite the veto) at the table a polite young man did his job and kept the table clear of dirty plates but forgot the pitcher of cold water. No biggie but he just missed the mark of perfect. On to the food... Everything was good to excellent with narry a stinker. From end to end was deep fried items like fish, veggies, and shrimp there was an American section that included wings, ribs, fries, and pizza then a massive line of all those great classic Americanized entrees. think kung pow, sesame chicken, sweet and sour, salt and pepper shrimp, chow mein, fried rice, and too many dishes to name them all. adequate Sushi that was closer to good then excellent, next was a Raw section for Mongolian BBQ. I skipped this but perhaps the best stop for vegetarians, salads deserts ended with self-serve soft serve there are no sundae toppings but that's ok. About the food you just have to go and see it for yourself, it's obvious they know how to present a buffet, they are absolute experts at it. the entrees are top notch and comparable with Panda when at its best, to my sit-down favorite near Scott rd, or even better then both. The food is awesome and is fresh. One review said that the food is not allergy friendly . There are literally signs that say what the food has in it and says if it is nut free and more. Also, if you are allergic to the food in a buffet, don't eat it.it is up to you to not eat the food. Also my sister has at least 6 allergies and she knows not to eat the food she can't. Also there is so much allergy acceptable food that it is crazy. Also the ambience is nice and not crazy. There are huge led above each food section that says what there is in that section. I have been here a couple of times with my family. Once with my kids and once with my husband. They have a wide variety of food with a small seafood selection, veggie options, meat options, Mongolian grill, sushi, dessert with ice cream, etc.. Although a big dining area, tables are quite close and it can sometimes be difficult to get through to your table. They need to be spaced out a little better. I know they're trying to jam in as many tables to get people in, but it can be a pain in the butt trying to get to your table as you're weaving in different directions trying to get to your table. Food was okay...the cake and desserts have been pretty dry so I would go for the ice cream/soft serve. Sushi was constantly being made with someone behind the area. I mostly enjoyed the Mongolian grill but it can take a bit of time with only two people grilling up people's orders. Still one of things I would get most of out of everything there. The first time I've been there with my kids, our server was great but the next time with my husband the other server just kind of took forever with anything.. Was this space formerly a golden corral? It has a similar setup with the way the buffets are set up, even down to where the steak station is set up. for the price, you cant beat it. It's your typical asian buffet offering mongolian, steak, various chinese offerings and even sushi. Personally, it was just ok. Honestly, instagram brought me here and made it look very enticing. the food wasnt bad, but it wasn't great either. The service was great. Our person was very attentive in asking about refills. This buffet restaurant is pretty new in the area so everyone seems crazy about it. I've been here 3x but only during weekends so it was always busy. All the servers were very attentive to our needs. Food selection was great and prices are good too! I like that it's big enough to accommodate a lot of people, and their restroom is well maintained too. The food was delicious. I got their char siu ribs and their salt and pepper ribs. The ribs were tender and meaty. I also got a plate of sushi.. which was fresh . They also had Korean pickled radishes. On the side I also got some salt and pepper shrimp and some wontons. The service was excellent our server made sure our discarded plates were picked up and our drinks were filled. Ambiance was also great.. the music wasn't too loud and was able to have a conversation. Finally got a chance to try a new Chinese Buffet in Murrieta that is close to home. When one of my dearest friend Stephanie asked me to join her group of Yelp foodie friends today. I was hesitant at first, due to not wanting to impose. But also because I originally was not going and had already eaten breakfast... For that reason, I thought I would be too stuffed like a turkey to eat anything. ROFL Lo and behold??? I was surprised and downed 2 rounds of pile high variety of delicious food plus desserts and a cup of mixed swirl ice cream. Coming through the entrance with all the ribbons including vibrate lush plants of all kind to represent luck and good fortune was pretty impressive. They even had a Giant American Flag to represent freedom and opportunities for all mankind. I was not prepared to do a review, so I did not take many pictures but will describe what it's like to eat at Lin's Grand Buffet. Granted, I was not able to try all of the spectacular dishes provided, because I was too full. But I did eat a majority of it. At first peaking in, the venue was super clean and of course new. Reminded me of buffet venues in Vegas... I thought the food area was small but boy, was I wrong! They had so many different Asian food selections and choices in Beef, Chicken, Seafood, Noodles, Sushi, Desserts, Soup, Salads, etc.. They also had White and Fried Rice for those who cannot eat food without Rice... lol Even American food when I thought this was a Chinese/Asian buffet. They had Pizzas, French Fries, Chicken Nuggets, Ribs and Buttered Corn on the Cob (One of my favorites here.) Good for my Twins who are more Americanized and prefer over Asian food. They even have a Speciality Mongolian section where you grab a plate of choice proteins, veggies, sauces etc and they cook it magnificently. I did not have enough room in my tummy to try it, but a friend did and seemed to have enjoyed it. The venue was bigger than I had anticipated and the staff were incredibly kind, nice and helpful. They did help take a picture of our lovely group of new acquaintances and friends. Our joint love for food, helped bond this group of wonderful ladies together for an outing of feasting scrumptious food! My only drawback? I understand more tables and chairs, means more customers. However, it was kinda tight, that it was hard for me to squeeze through to get to my seat. If only they position some of the tables to help make it more spacious to walk around, that would be ideal. Majority of the food was well cooked with various spices, sauces and individuality. You really can taste the different variations of chickens, beef, noodles in all the entrees provided. The beef dishes were super tender and not chewy but cooked to perfection. I loved the pepper beef plus beef and broccoli. There were so many variety of chicken dishes to choose from. All of them were flavorful based on your tastebuds and how you wanted it to be cooked. Some examples were: Orange Chicken, Pineapple Chicken, Bourbon Chicken, Chicken Nuggets etc.. I love veggies. Unfortunately, I never made it to the salad bar but they did have lot to choose from. I do love their Stir Fry Veggies, their Crispy Fried Zucchini, and their Crispy Fried Cream Cheese Jalapeños. Anything fried is good, right!?!?! Their Fishes and Shrimps plus Cajun Seafood Mix was a hit as well. Nonetheless, I did not care for their Salt and Pepper Shrimp, because it was too salty for me. Maybe it was just a bad batch... Overall it was well cooked with good quality and fresh ingredients. I do love the Sesame Balls. I had like 5 of them. It was lightly crispy and super soft with the exact component of sweetness in the filling. Wish I had eaten more. lol Compared to all the Chinese Food/Buffet around? I highly rate this on my list of places to visit and to try it, you won't regret it. The price is right and I hear in the evening time, their menu differ slightly in cost but also more added seafood like crabs. I love it so much, I plan to come back with my family and friends. I loooveeeee Lins! I have been a few times and we always have such a great experience! The selection of food is why I keep returning. You got sushi, Mongolian grill, fruit, fried foods, chicken nuggets, fries, pizza, ice cream etc. There's no way you won't find something to like here. They have plenty of dessert options as well. The establishment is clean and kept that way. My only complaint is that they really need to get lids for their cups because kids with open cups is an accident waiting to happen. Lin gets a 3.5 not a 3. Reasons bc they don't refill the food as they should. The one thing that I liked most was the crawfish and i waited about 15m for it to be refilled. The dessert section is very small and unkept. Its just all over the place. They have an ice cream machine though. IMHO I think the hibachi buffet is much better, but lins is better than the Asian buffet right next door on the other plaza. I think the flavor of most dishes are either hit or miss or bland or toooooo salty. The crawfish was super super salty, but i loved it. What I love most are salads. They have a better salad selection than hibachi. I just don't like the dressing in the sauce bottles. Doesn't feel like a salad bar. I was most disappointed in the sushi bar. There were no sashimi and clearly the salmon nigiri ran out first and it took a while to refill. The rice ratio to the fish was disproportionate. Too much rice. There wasn't any squid salad, seaweed salad or any of the likes. The rolls were very basic and I was highly unimpressed, even for a buffet. Oh well.. What I do think is nice is that they are big and it's very clean. Its tidy and the service is good. I regularly got my water refilled and more napkins. You pay first here so you should have cash for tip or walk up to the front again and tip that way. Overall I'd still go to hibachi. My husband thinks this buffet gets the same grade as hibachi, but he chose this buffet today, so he won't in no way admit hes wrong or something tasted bad. You know, hes a real man, man. My fav was the chow mein and fried rice. I know that sounds super generic, but I can see myself coming here just for that. I think they would use some improvement on the desserts. The sushi was out but they were definitely trying to keep it stocked. I didn't get a chance to try the Mongolian barbecue, next time as i will be coming back. It's located right by my job. I really like that and for their lunch rates it's definitely better than some of the other options we have around here. Their soft opening is really going great. So glad to see them get so much support. It was really crowded, but it's a friday night so to be expected. I'm not sure how the word spread so quickly they were open, but everybody was here. I was seated relatively quick for as busy as they were. Lynda and Luke were my servers and they were amazing super attentive, my glass never even had a chance to hit empty without them asking did I need a refill. Pretty good Chinese Buffet! They also have a to-go option. Came to their soft opening May 1st. Staff constantly checking up on you, clearing your tables. We paid about $75 for 3 Adults and 2 drinks,--did not ask for tip (we tipped cash on table). Food was fresh and pretty good! Sushi bar had soft rice (not all dried out) and pretty fresh tasting for a buffet. The ribs were my favorite. Ice cream machine not ready yet but they have other desserts. They have a Mongolian grill area where you can choose your noodles/veg/meat options and they will cook it for you. Bring cash to tip the cook :) even $1 is a nice gesture IMO. There is a lot of seating so it will be good for big groups , tables and booths. We weren't given an approximate wait time but smaller parties were quoted 15-20 minutes and were seated before us, as well as other parties that arrived after we did. Our party of 11 waited about 45 minutes to finally be seated. Our server was ok, and we had to flag her down for drink refills and take away our dishes which began to pile up... You never expect buffets to be great. I didn't expect this one to be. I was definitely surprised at how bad it was though. Usually you'll find a couple things you're willing to fill your plate with again but I did not. Here's my approach. I never want to waste food so I only grabbed enough for a bite of every item. It took about 4 plates to do this. After trying everything they have to offer my take way is nothing was great and the sushi doesn't seem safe. Went here on Christmas Day. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was extremely clean, even the bathroom was very clean. It was extremely inexpensive. I think I paid $26 for a Buffay on a holiday, including a drink. The sashimi and sushi rolls were very good and fresh. Will definitely be coming here regularly. Highly recommend. read more

I have read mixed reviews but we loved it. We got there at 4:30 on a Saturday and it looked like it would be a long wait,but it wasn't at all. We really wanted to try the Mongolian Grill but by the time we tried all the other delicious options we were too stuffed. They have a lot of different shrimp dishes, sushi, and all the usual Buffet items as well. The service is good, the restaurant is clean and the food is good. It's also affordable. We arrived a bit before the restaurant opened and I must say the abundance of food was absolutely gorgeous. There was a group of about 10 of us and we were seated pretty quickly. After looking over all of the delicious food I gravitated too the sushi, which was fresh, the Mongolian stirfry where you could pick as much and as many ingredients as you would like, then you watch as they stirfry it with the sauces and spice level you like. This was absolutely delicious! The salmon and bourbon chicken were next. The salmon was a little dry from my taste, but the chicken was tender, sweet and salty, and just delicious. My take away from the Chinese food was beef and broccoli, pepper beef, and orange chicken. I really enjoyed all three, the beef was tender, the vegetables were perfectly cooked and the orange chicken was crispy and had a little bit of a kick to it. The eggrolls were crispy and just what you would expect, then came the barbecue pork ribs, they were so tender and flavorful. The potstickers were delicious, but the sauce could use more flavor. The zucchini and calamari had a little too much breading for my liking, but they were cooked well and crispy. For dessert I had some apple pie, which was delicious and warm, plantains and a doughnut that could've used an extra sprinkle of sugar with some chocolate and vanilla soft serve ice cream. Overall, this place was full of delicious food, I wish I could've tasted more of it. If you love buffets definitely check this one out. It's clean, the service is wonderful and the food is delicious. My husband and I went in to try out the newest buffet in town. We were hoping for new dishes and more flavor since our options aren't as plenty compared to other cities. Price was just ok. We were so disappointed on the quality of food they served. It was very mediocre and bland. Lots of fried food and very salty Chinese food. I can see how it appeals to the American taste, but definitely not for the Asian palate. I was hoping to see baked mussels but they didn't have any.
