    Updated menu

Just went for the first time. They've been closed for quite a while. I've got an updated menu which I will be adding which also has updated pricing. This place is seriously way over priced I mean come on really. We will not be back. the food was mediocre. Very disappointed.

Everything was amazing. Had a party of 18 and our server was great. It was a bit busy for a Tuesday night too. The food is always good anytime I go. One of the few places my kids agree on.

General Tao Vegan Chicken. It's delicious, flavorful and very crispy. Worth the price

General Tao vegan chicken is delicious, flavorful, crunchy, and well worth the price!

I've lived on the west side of Washington all my life until a year ago. This is the best Chinese restaurant in Moses lake! The front of the restaurant is not very inviting, but once you open that door it's very clean, nice and open. The service was fast and friendly, answered my questions and had great timing when I needed a box. The Bbq pork fried rice had the biggest chunks of pork I've ever seen in fried rice. I like that it wasn't jam packed with peas and carrots, flavor was on point. Almond chicken was my pick for the night, just how I like it! The chicken with garlic sauce had veggies, the sauce complimented the veggies very nicely. Can't wait to go back.

Mongolian Beef? Maybe...whatever this was it was inedible

Just awful. Reading the reviews, I set the bar pretty low for this one, and still...so disappointing. My order was pretty basic: Mongolian Beef; Egg Rolls and some steamed rice. Mongolian Beef: see the photos. Whatever they gave me sure as heck wasn't Mongolian Beef by any standard. But setting that aside, it wasn't even edible. It was a mix of over-cooked, nearly liquified vegetables, Flavorless tough beef, and a sauce flavored like vinegary dishwater. Just awful. Egg Rolls: see photos Filling was pretty good, but not very well rolled and pretty greasy. Rice: Decent....but, I mean, it's steamed rice. So, terrible food and WAY too expensive (This meal costs over $25). Absolutely not worth it. Go elsewhere.

General Tso's Chicken from Lin's on 1/26/2010. Notice how much oil there is in the sauce.

I awarded Lin's 1 star because there was no option to select 0 stars. First off, I normally rate restaurants solely based on the food alone, unless the service is offensive. I am in Moses Lake for work. Thankfully this is my last night. I was in the mood for General Tso's Chicken. I ordered it, along with rice for take-out. Got back to my hotel and open the containers... the chicken is bright red and tastes exactly like sweet and sour chicken. I immediately call because they mixed up my order. I called and a woman (who yelled at someone else in Mandarin) asked the chef about the order. Apparently, the food I got was correct. I don't usually like or eat American Chinese food (since I'm Chinese), but every now and again I do get a craving for it. I ended up going back to the strip mall, but this time to the Safeway, to get what I wanted. The only thing good about Lin's was there was NO wait (no one was in the restaurant), and the quality of the steamed rice was good- it was definitely fresh. I would not go back.

    Beef and tomatoes

In my humble opinion, I think this is the Best Chinese food restaurant in Moses Lake. This is a Northern China style of cooking. So you will fine some Siechuan and Shanghaiese favorites there. From the authentic way of cooking to the menu's offering. My favorite is the Tomato Beef, the portions are generous and price reasonable. They also have Lunch special menu too!

Food was terrible. I have never eaten worse food. I am not picky, I'll eat anything. Tea tasted like water.

Regardless, their Chin-Amer fare is absolutely fantastic, and we were RVing close by, so this was the (her) choice. One look at their fried proteins will tell the tale. Those were hand-made on the spot, Cochise. Yang Tze Pork had great char sui flavor, and sides were robust and delicious. We ordered from their 'family style' menu, and for $17 per, it was a heckuva lot of food. Wifey kept trying to order some other items, and I had to tell her we were already gonna get pounded with the amount of food we had comin'. The leftovers in my fridge will testify to that little factoid. This small town in the middle of nowhere is quite fortunate to have this family to order from...

It was Saturday and the lunch buffet was $10.95. The buffet had only six items, which made me snicker. But I'm eating Keto style, so only took 3 items... teriyaki chicken, mixed vegetables, and deep fried chicken meatballs. Oh my God, was I surprised with the flavor of this pairing. We've all had Chicken Teriyaki, right? (...char-grilled chicken strips on steamed rice with sauce-outa-the-squirt-bottle. Right?). Well forget that! This was chicken sauteed in a mild-sweet-soy (full of meat drippings, like gravy! It was fabulous! Man, I'm going home to re-engineer that recipe! I love it when you discover some new food-approach that no-one's doing anywhere. This was that moment. And with the medley of steamed vegetables and iced tea...wow, just wow! To the guy from "Nordakota" er "Sowdakota", what are you thinkin?!?! The food at Mei-Ling is delicious, and apparently everyone in town thinks so too! Look at the pictures!

When we arrived, the seating area is full, but we were still greeted warmly. We ordered our meal to go but we were still offered a place to sit in glasses of water while we waited. We both ordered pho. I got the combination pho with everything and my wife ordered the beef pho. She also ordered some pork bao buns, and I ordered soup dumplings. They packaged the pho very well, with the broth, vegetables and meat, and one container and the noodles, some of the extra meat, lines, cilantro, basil, etc. In another container, the servings were huge. We had plenty for another meal the next day. The pho broth was excellent. We did have to heat it up again when we added the noodles and extras, but it was well worth it. The soup dumplings were flavorful and warm and the bao buns had a mild but rich pork filling. This was a real treat while we were on the road.

Not too sweet, but definitely sweet enough to cut the bitter taste of the coffee. The coffee itself wasn't too bitter or sour tasting. I'd get that again. The banh mi, the pork belly option is double the price of any other protein. I'm not sure if that works out in the worth it department for me, but the meat proportion in the sandwich is worth it. The veggies seemed pretty fresh, crisp, but no jalapeño in the sandwich. Not sure if that's a regular thing, but I've eaten enough banh mi with jalapeños, so I consider that a necessary ingredient. The bread was toasted pretty heavily, perhaps cooked in the grease of the pork belly? Not sure. I wasn't a huge fan of that, the bread itself was difficult to tell if it was light and springy with a flaky crust, because it was toasted so hard. Either way, the sandwich was eaten, the coffee was gulped down. I'd probably try other things here. Smelled good in there. Service was nice, staff seemed really amicable and they were turning tables as quickly as people were hopping out of their seats.

Never had an experience where I wasn't able to get something that I wanted, somtimes one of my go-tos was out or running low but thats how the Panda Express business model works, they have to rotate which dishes to cook as they get low, and its impossible to account for a surge in one dish. The upside of that model is that you get your food in 2 minutes or less. I've never had any issues with slowness or the staff here. They've always been friendly and attentive-- I loved Panda Express in Seattle, so I was very glad that one opened up here in Wentachee since the last time I lived out here. Yelp is different in Wenatchee than big cities. In cities there are tons of people leaving reviews to acheive Elite status, and there tends to be much more usage so there are a ton of reviews from both sides of the experience. If you want some American-Chinese food I say give it a try, or dont (I'm not your mom lol) but I've had nothing but tasty food and a good experience every time I've been here and never gotten any sort of illness or discomfort from the food (other than maybe eating it too fast because its delicious).

She and my wife had the Honey Walnut Prawns-- both meals were dry, no moisture, no sauce. I had the Sesame Chicken and the Beijing Beef-- both entrées were severely overcooked to the point that the meats were hardened nuggets. Our pick-up time was 5:30 in the afternoon. There is flat-out no excuse for overcooked or dry food at the beginning of the dinner hour. (When I managed a restaurant and food dried out in the steam table or under the heat lamps, I offered it up as free tasting samples, while customers were waiting, explaining it was too dry to serve--customers loved that...but every meal we served was hot, fresh and moist.) Instead, Panda Express, you charged me $42 to embarrass me in front of a dear friend. That is never going to happen again.
