They have power outlets. Charged my e-bike a few times here while waiting for the train. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One thing you'll notice is when the Acela passes by at high speeds. The station almost feels like the "I Love Lucy" episode where the bunk beds are sliding across the room when the train passes by in that episode. Lol. ,No chairs move or anything but you can definitely feel the vibration somewhat when the Acela is passing. The staff here is amazing. Very very social and professional. Always smiling and happy. Very relaxed and calm staff. Greetings coming and going which is a major plus. The overall cleanliness is amazing. No trash cans overflowing nor empty toilet paper rolls in the bathroom. Soap dispensers are loaded with soap and the sinks have somewhat good water pressure. The overall environment is very relaxed and very calm. The general crowd is very highly disciplined. Mainly adults. Some kids. All very highly disciplined. There's an attached parking lot on both sides of the station as well as bike racks with surveillance. During the night time, The station is very well lit to deter crime which is another plus. Overall A++++++, The best part of the Odenton station is the staff. The Convention Center station is one of 33 stops on the Light Rail and is right next to the Baltimore Convention Center. It is also one block away from Camden Yards and the Royal Farms Arena. There are many other attractions close by as well as eateries, hotels and restaurants. The station is a simple outdoor platform with minimal signage and very few places to escape the elements. I think of the light rail as being a single north-south line with a branch for Penn Station and a branch for BWI airport but technically there are three routes as follows: 1. Hunt Valley-BWI (Blue) 2. Hunt Valley-Cromwell (Yellow), and 3. Penn Station-Camden Yards (Red) All three lines come through the Convention Center Station so be sure you get on the correct train if leaving from this station. This place was completely unexpected to come upon for a multitude of reasons. The obvious one is that there are farmlands so close to the nations capital. The second is that I literally live a few minutes from here and had no clue about it myself. I knew there was a nearby campground and walking trails, but not farmland. My reasoning for coming here was for a work event. When I drove up to the building I didn't think it was going to be a literal log cabin. Yes, it is the name of the road, but I just thought it was going to be a regular old building. Inside it is an event space. Set up to hold conferences and meetings, I was told that in the past it was used for weddings and parties as well. This place is completely set up to be self sustaining. Working kitchen, bathrooms, separate meeting spaces. There is even an outdoor area with picnic tables for warmer months. My favorite piece here, the working payphone, yes, they do still exist. When you are not working while in the building take a moment to take things in. It may be a small space, but they do have some artifacts to look at. Mostly noting when this place was built and remodeled. It was a great space that when I reported back to the office I told them it would be a great place to hold a training.

Great commuting alternative to the Shady Grove metro station. On the southbound side there is a…read morecovered shed with a metal bench. Most people stand and wait for the train. Nine MARC trains stop here on weekdays, ten on Friday evenings going northbound. There is a brick shelter, built in the 1800s on the northbound side which has a coffee shop and seating inside. Perfect for those cold mornings. There's also an Amtrak ticket kiosk if you need to purchase a one way or round trip ticket. Be careful because you have to cross the tracks to catch Southbound trains to DC. There is the Olde Towne parking garage across Summit Avenue which is easily accessible by a pedestrian bridge. The garage fills up pretty rapidly, if you want covered parking, it's best to arrive before 7:30 am, be careful not to park in spaces reserved for the apartment residents or city employees, you may get towed.
