Nina is kind and friendly and the drinks are always made so well ! Not too sweet perfectly taste the tea and the flavors taste so natural and not artificial or overly sweet although it's all customizable so many drinks to choose from The food is also so fresh and delicious here My favorite items so far are : Grapefruit fruit tea Passion fruit green tea Lychee fruit tea Peach green tea Beef dumplings Can't wait to try more !

Cute little boba shop that serves food too! There is a small kiosk that you can order from. I've only had the mango black tea with boba but it was refreshing and delicious. There is parking in the back which is a plus.

We loved absolutely everything about Lion Dance! The food is so fresh and flavorful and the front staff were so sweet! There isn't a ton of seating, but the service is very speedy, so it shouldn't take long for a table to clear out if you have to wait. Would highly recommend you try the shrimp shumai and the grandma lo mein - they were our favorites! But really, you can't go wrong with anything in the menu, and it's all very reasonably priced.

I ordered online for pick up. I walked in to a nice cozy place. The lady at the counter was very friendly and let me know that my order would be right out. I'm very skeptical about trying new places. But this place is a must try. The pork soup dumplings are amazing. I also got the Hong Kong Lemon tea, that was equally delicious. I will be going back soon.

Best dim sum on the island! Literally so good. This is my 2nd time going and I'll definitely be back!

I walked in and was immediately welcomed. Such great customer service... The best brown sugar signature milk tea I ever tasted. And I usually get Kung Fu or Sunmerry incision, NJ. I prefer less sweet so 30% sugar There 1 hr parking when you make a right turn. But they also have a parking lot, but I missed it. I'll definitely be back when in SI

Nina was very kind, friendly, open, and receptive in our pleasant conversation where we talked about her journey to opening this restaurant. The atmosphere is very comfortable with the seating being spread out enough so diners can eat comfortably should they choose to. Currently they are running a combo special where for 18 dollars you get a noodle soup plus one of their bubble teas. I opted for the pork and shrimp dumpling spicy noodle soup. Although my initial thought was that it felt a bit expensive, it soon became evident why. The soup base is incredibly delicious and takes a lot of time and good quality ingredients to construct! The noodle had a very pleasant bouncy texture to it and paired perfectly with the meaty dumplings, where they use actual plump shrimp instead of the miniature ones that some places use. I believe if the combo was 14-16 dollars instead, it would've been more ideal, but it's hard to put a price tag on high quality! I also got a bunch of dim sum to go, and perhaps because it was to go, they weren't bad, but they also weren't the best. The chive dumplings were good, but the price once again felt a bit steep for 6 dumplings. I'm looking forward to trying their soup dumplings and pan stickers next time, for the other diner there raved about how good it was! The drinks were quite delicious too and Nina told me they use actual milk products to construct them instead of using milk powder like many other bubble tea places, which makes their drink extra creamy and you can definitely tell the difference! Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend eating at the restaurant, for taking out can detract from its freshness and crispiness depending on what you order! They're still relatively new so I'm sure they'll only continue to improve (: Thank you for reading and best of luck!

We walked in today after seeing that Lion Dance had finally opened and I'm so happy to have them down the street from us! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and smile from the woman behind the counter! We quickly placed our order and waited about 15 minutes since we chose the fresh dumplings. The restaurant itself is small but there is seating for approximately 12-15 people and very clean! They don't have a public restroom but they do seem to be more of a grab and go type of spot! We also ordered two bubble teas which were very refreshing! The food was warm, fresh and very flavorful! We cannot wait to be back!

I love a good dim sum spot, and growing up in Queens, I've been to plenty! Today, my fiancé and I decided to try "Lion Dance," and we're so glad we did. The restaurant was clean, the food was absolutely delicious, and the owner is super sweet! We had shrimp shumai, pork soup dumplings, grandma noodles, and spicy wontons--everything was packed with flavor, and they don't skimp on the filling. If you're in Staten Island, this spot is a must visit. Highly recommend!

I've been here twice before and I'm here again now to treat myself for my birthday because it's that good! I've had the special noodle combo with spicy noodle soup with pork and shrimp dumplings and the spicy lo mein. I'm having soup dumplings, salt and pepper chicken and spicy wontons today. Everything is handmade and delicious! I've been to the famous soup dumpling place in manhattan (which I won't name) and these are better!

We both enjoyed our entrees very much. The string beans were cooked well and delicious. My only disappointment was the dumplings. They were flavored very well, but were what I like to call "Staten Island Dumplings" in that they were way too heavy with a thick wrapper. I prefer the thin wrapper, softer type of dumpling. Service was adequate but otherwise unremarkable. We will eat here again.

The decor has not been updated in a long time but it doesn't look it's age either. It's clean Asian themed decor. Service is efficient, not particularly warm but not bad. I ventured outside my normal choice and I won't be doing that again. My usual go to is the egg rolls, pineapple fried rice and I add shrimp for my drink I ask for pineapple juice and coconut rum. This time I ordered pan fried noodles with seafood and the frozen mango margarita. I was disappointed, the dish lacked the flavor I was expecting and so did the cocktail. My husband had our usual and he was very happy, our friends had the chicken pad Thai and mango mojito and they were also very happy. Next time, I'm going back to my usual order lol.

I was asking about reservation, they said it's not needed-the Jade Island is huge! But we called for a reservation... I was very skeptical from the start about Chinese cuisine-not my taste, but my friends repeated about old school, classic Chinese Food! At the start-yes, the place is huge! With different shape tables -from 2 to bigger for 10 and more... Surprisingly, there were still a lot of diners at that late time... I forgot Chinese food totally and opted for a safe option- Fried rice with shrimps- very tasty, not salty..huge portion-took home half of it. We ordered Tofu with veggies-crispy veggies, Bock Choi not over- or under cooked-perfect - and tofu-delicious and family size prefix for 2 -with soups/spring rolls and main-chicken... Size for 2 would definitely feed 3-5 people! Great service, very attentive; -spacious seats, nice ambience - and great prices! Would definitely go again, if my friends decide to eat there. Thank you, Jade Island staff!

This place is so nostalgic just for the decor alone, it makes me long for the good old days! This is as American as Chinese food can get, so if you're looking for authentic Chinese food, you need to go elsewhere. This place has big portions, great service, and caters to a more American dining experience with big tables for parties or even reunions. Non-negotiable items I have to get every time I'm here: - egg rolls - big and crispy - wonton egg drop mixed - the pieces of pork are HUGE - orange chicken - perfect white chicken meat every time! - chicken and broccoli - tried and true We usually come around 5PM on a Saturday to beat the rush and it works out perfectly that we don't need to make any reservations.
