I have never written a review before, but I would like to help people to avoid roofing scams if they want to do a deal with the "lion King General Construction. " If you did not know anything about a roofing system or a roof anatomy you should never ever hire Tony and his team to do your roof. We still regret that we hired them to work on our roof. Ice damage is a big problem for your house. If you would like to have a peace of mind you should know a lot about a roof system. You should never ever trust Tony. Their goal is to get as much money as they can to make on you. They do not care about you and your problem. Now we have an additional headache, because we need to have extra money to hire trust able and honest roofers to make our roof in a good shape. read more

I definitely recommend these guys. I use them every year for gutter cleaning. But have used them additional times to make repairs to 2 leaks in my roof and to add and repair to my existing gutter system. They are honest, reliable, extremely timely, and so efficient with their time. They clearly are hard workers who know how to get a job done. They are also very fairly priced. I've had my gutter cleaning quoted for 3x what they charged me. They aren't looking to make a quick buck, they are building a relationship of trust with their customers so we know we should call them for our next job. I called High Tech gutter based on their reviews on Yelp. It seems as though they are now Lion King HI. I made an appointment for the next day between 10 and 12. Sure enough I received a called around 9:15 AM saying they would be there in a half hour. Tony arrived, asked what the problem was, surveyed the area, made an assessment, and cost estimate. He was very understanding with me as there was a short wait for 3 other family members to hear his assessment of the gutter and roof. He was extremely patient with my elderly parent. He answered all her questions, explained the process in detail of what needed to be done, and showed her the areas to be repaired. Tony was personable, considerate, and experienced about his craft. He came prepared to work even though I had not hired him yet. He and his crew was quick, thorough, and efficient in completing the job (cleaning, & repairing the gutter, filling the cracks in parts of the roof, and removing the debris) in a matter of minutes. He indicated the work has a 1 year guarantee. His price was fair. I would not hesitate to hire him again and/or recommend him to others! read more

Tony and his crew were great. Very upfront no games. Our roof, chimey, front porch and brick work for fence was done. The full job was completed as promised. My house was long over due so of course adjustments needed to be made (price wise) but we can sleep at night knowing the roof will stay in place and that we won't fall through the porch. Tony responded immediately to my request for gutter work. He and his crew of two were professional, fast, clean and did a great job removing my old guttering and installing new ones with a mesh covering to prevent leaves from entering the gutter and clogging the drainage. He also unclogged years of slit from my drainage pipe and fixed cracks in my roof and mended my chimney. He even removed some old antennas on my roof and carted away all the old materials and the two antennas. While the job was being performed he received requests for his business card by others on the street. I believe that the positive reviews must be bogus. This company is the worst. I paid thousands of dollars for "seamless gutters", drain pipes and roof repair. The covering for the gutters have begun to pop up and fall off one by one. I called one of the owners to tell him what was happening. He came to my house to take a look. He had the nerve to say that there was no problem with the work. He blamed the animals for lifting the up. Evidently, the covers were never secured. He further stated that the only way to secure them was to add some gutter foam ( at my expense of course). I could go on and on but the take away is DO NOT CALL THEM!!!!!!!! read more

I would never recommend this company to anyone. It took some trying to find this company website. I contracted with this company on June 6, to repair and clean my gutter (as stated on my receipt).. the first gentleman arrived on June 6, I explained the situation that I had cleaned the gutter but there was still a back up problem which required some drain work. The gentleman quoted me a price of $450.00 to do the job, we agreed. The next day June 7, 2020 two young men show up and go on the roof... the first thing they tell me is the gutter guards that keep the leaves out were no good and he had better ones in his van.. he removed the guards and goes to the van to show me what he has... I thought great.. then he tells me it would be an additional $400.00 for the new guards .... I told him no thank you, just repair and clean the gutter as I contracted for, and I again explained where the problem was ... I saw him squirt some water down the drain and I guess that was "cleaning the gutter", he went up to the roof with plastic bag and returned with the same empty plastic bag, as I had told him I had cleaned the gutter already and that the problem was inside the pipe. While on the roof he tells me I needed to have some roof work done and he could do it for $500.00. I again told him just do the work I hired them for. Around June 29, after a big rain I called the company back to report that I still had the problem, initially, the conversation was going ok, the young man I spoke with was the same young man who came to my home initially, he said he remembered me because I was the one who didnt want to spend extra money. I told them I needed someone to come back out and look at this again as I was getting water gushing from the gutter that he says was "repaired and cleaned". After a heated conversation, I was told that they would come out the next day and look at the problem. P.S. it's July 6, and no show, no call. I had to hire someone else to fix the problem. I would not recommend this company. Horrible company, I will also post on other outlets. read more

Absolutely no consideration to neighbors! They were doing work on the house and garage next door and blocked my driveway with their truck, blocked the spot in front of my house, took it upon themselves to use my driveway to set up their saw table. Left over 50 nails and screws scattered all over my driveway and in front of my house. I have 4 young children and had to replace a tire entirely because of a "roofers nail". Just collected a ton of nails and will be calling the company and speaking with the neighbors. Absolutely no common decency, respect, or common sense and rude as hell! read more

Do Not Hesitate! Been shopping around for roofers? Believe me, I've done a LOT of that but you can stop searching - these guys are a dream to deal with. So fast, so proficient, so polite and both Matt & Tony are the most effective comminucators I've ever dealt with in my ten years of dealing with trades over several buildings. Tony is very professional and answered all of our questions about cleaning our gutters. On the day of the job, he was very punctual and his team of workers did an amazing job with the installation of the snap-in filters. As they worked on unclogging the gutters, they showed me what was caused the clog. Later, as they installed the gutters, they took pictures of the installed gutters on the roof to ensure that I was completely satisfied. They work promptly but efficiently.
